19/08/2026: Great! We had a lovely romantic dinner over a delicious fondue. The restaurant is well located, and the owner (I think) is very welcoming and attentive. The only slight downside is that the youngest waitress is constantly being pressured, which customers don't need to see, especially since she's always running around.

Ordering a "saffron risotto" only to discover on the plate that it was actually pasta, with no mention of it on the menu: for someone with a gluten intolerance, that's no small matter! The dish was replaced by a lovely waiter… but the duck leg arrived cold, even though my partner had already finished his meal. The result: a doggy bag and a ruined lunch! Simply writing "pasta risotto" on the menu would have avoided all this. For a restaurant as well-known as Mr. Georges', this is unacceptable.

09/07/2026: Excellent, locally sourced cuisine with a friendly chef. We had a lovely evening on the terrace in the countryside. The set menu is €30, but well worth it. Everything is homemade.

17/09/2026: We had lunch on Wednesday- market day in Callac - recommend you book a table. Very good oysters and all the other courses well made and tasty. Madame and her daughter serving were very good. Proper French food and very good value.

13/09/2026: For a brasserie, this one is very interesting. Friendliness and simplicity best describe the establishment. The owners, Sophie and Margot (Margaux?), were incredibly kind! There's a good selection. It's all local. We appreciate its simplicity. For me, it could have used a little more quantity. But the value for money is excellent.

29/05/2026: We needed a bottle of wine for dinner. Popped into this place in the middle of the afternoon, not sure if it was open or not. We told the clerk (owner?) what we were looking for. Instead of selling us a bottle first, he pours a couple different wines for us to try. We pick one, and he goes hunting for an intact bottle down under the floor boards behind the bar. Great value, Very friendly shop keeper. Thanks for your help.
