26/04/2026: I discovered this restaurant during a bachelorette party. The setting is truly lovely, well-maintained, with a great atmosphere, and the service is outstanding: the waitresses were smiling, attentive, and professional from beginning to end. However, the food was a real disappointment, especially considering the prices. We were asked to choose our dishes three days in advance, which is understandable for a group. However, on the day itself, when someone wanted to change their order, we were told the dishes were already prepared… which unfortunately showed in the food. The fish (€24) was rubbery, clearly reheated, with an overcooked sauce, and still contained bones. The sauerkraut was acidic and dry, and the cordon bleu was also dry. The dessert didn't redeem the rest: a rather uninspired French toast with a few hastily pan-fried pieces of brioche, a clearly mass-produced custard, and a very basic, hastily prepared scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's all the more disappointing because the place has potential and the service is truly excellent. But as it stands, the value for money doesn't live up to my expectations. What a shame...

26/04/2026: This restaurant, specializing in Alsatian cuisine, left us with mixed feelings. The tarte flambée we tried was unfortunately undercooked. As for the meat dishes, they seemed to have been prepared in advance, given the speed of service—only five minutes. The cordon bleu and the ribeye steak, advertised at 400 grams, seemed much lighter, closer to 100 grams. Having dined in many restaurants, we are familiar with meat portion sizes, and the cooking of these dishes did not meet our expectations. We were disappointed by this experience and do not plan to return.

19/04/2026: It's absolutely delicious. I'm dreaming about the burger with Reblochon cheese. Plus, you can get a veggie patty with every burger. The prices are a bit high, though. But the fries are amazing and the cheese is perfectly melted. The service is very quick. We come back often.

19/04/2026: Excellent burgers, especially the chicken and avocado one 🥑 (I haven't tried the others). The bun is soft, just what you want when ordering a burger. The price is quite high, but hey, it's in the center of Paris and opposite Les Halles. The sunny terrace is very pleasant, the service is very fast, and the staff is attentive. I recommend it.

19/04/2026: I highly recommend it! The team is so cool, super welcoming, the service is fast, and most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious! It's the perfect spot for takeout and watching the sunset over the ocean 🫶🏻🌊

18/04/2026: I'm still a regular at Jacks Burger. The burgers and sauces are much more original and of better quality than McDonald's or other places. However, it's a real shame to see the service decline over time, especially in Capbreton. The staff are behind the counter, but there's no welcome. It takes 10 minutes for someone to deign to speak to you, even after you've greeted them. Then tonight, there was a mistake with my order, but it's the second time I've been treated so badly: 15 minutes to get the right burger, no apology, "I can't take it back." Yes, but do what you want with that. You put something I'm allergic to in it, I can't help you. As if offering me a burger I won't eat is some kind of gift. I stand at the counter, and the young blonde woman shoves the bag in my face, rather roughly, without a "here you go," "sorry," or "have a good evening," or anything like that. A polite greeting wouldn't have gone amiss. In short, manage your recruitment Jacks, Capbreton is in decline

05/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! I greatly appreciated the impeccable service. It embodies the hallmarks of fine dining (attention to detail, excellent timing) but without the usual frills. It's refined, genuine, and very welcoming. The same exacting standards are evident on the plate: elegant presentations that conceal a beautiful complexity. The perfect balance of flavors and the precise seasoning are every bit as good as Michelin-starred restaurants. A very beautiful, bright dining room with plenty of space...

12/05/2026: Good, but expensive for what's on the menu. Also, the restaurant opens at 7:30 pm, and by 7:40 pm, the time we ordered, some of the daily specials were already unavailable.

Our initial contact with Farid, like all our interactions, was incredibly smooth, and he reassured us about our choices while offering valuable advice based on his extensive experience. His recommendations for other vendors allowed us to surround ourselves with trustworthy professionals, which ultimately resulted in an amazing wedding! 🔥 The timing was perfect and adapted throughout the evening, the decor was understated yet elegant, the food was a hit with everyone, the staff was discreet and efficient, and their availability was outstanding.

28/04/2026: We arrived at 11 am for coffee and hot chocolate. It was raining, and unfortunately, we decided to leave. I was with a two-month-old baby in a stroller, my three-year-old daughter, and my partner. The place was empty. The staff refused to serve us, which is against the law. I know the law, having worked in restaurants myself. The right-wing women took their seats. We noticed, as my husband is of North African origin. There were two of them at the bar, just sitting on their phones, doing nothing in an empty room. Shameful! I'm very, very disappointed. They sent me to the bar next door, the one where all the local drunks go. In short, pathetic.

A big thank you also to Thibault, our server, for his professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness throughout the meal. He greatly contributed to making this an even more enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

07/03/2026: The best vindaloo I know. The garlic and cheese naans are to die for. The prices are reasonable. The welcome is warm, and the owner is lovely. It's my go-to spot!! The only downside is that it's closed on Wednesdays 😂
