18/03/2026: Honestly, a fantastic find! We came for lunch somewhat by chance and had a really great time. The welcome was simple, warm, and totally unpretentious; we felt right at home. The food was really good! Made with fresh ingredients, you can tell immediately. It was well-prepared, generous portions, and no fuss. We all ordered different things and no one was disappointed, which is a very good sign. A bonus for the atmosphere: it's the kind of place where you can take your time without feeling rushed. :) In short, we loved it from beginning to end. We'll be back! 👍

27/04/2026: We were all on a diet. However, the meal was excellent, of very high quality, with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Impeccable service, the waitress was incredibly kind and smiling. A fantastic experience.

15/04/2026: In the "everything's good in the pig" series, I ate the yellow chicken, and it was absolutely excellent. However, one thing must be said… the bread was absolutely dreadful. It was dry and of poor quality. Having not been a regular customer since my first visit, I've noticed a slight decline in the quality of the bread, which is quite important when you're eating dishes with sauce, like the famous chicken with morels. So, please take note, ladies and gentlemen of this otherwise excellent restaurant…

11/01/2026: We discovered this pizzeria over 10 years ago. We come to Corsica two or three times a year, and this is the place we always stop at. Matteu, the owner and pizza chef, is fantastic. The waiter is great. Lucien's desserts are absolutely amazing. We'll be back!

12/04/2026: For me, it's one of the best, not the best restaurant in the Arcachon Basin… Having left the Arcachon Basin more than 10 years ago, we make sure to come back every summer to treat our taste buds. A meal at Eric Thore's is part of that pilgrimage… We enjoy seeing the friendly owner and the always very professional waiter. 👍🏾👌🏾

06/05/2026: Safran, I've been going there for almost 20 years and still haven't written a review, how embarrassing!! 🤣 It's my go-to kebab (only chicken). - Early evening kebab - Friday kebab after the Saint Sauveur market - ​​Treat kebab - Kebab with friends In short, the kebab that's part of life and never changes, that stays true to itself while we change, grow, experience changes, in short, my Proustian madeleine. Never disappointed, always satisfied with the service and quality. I've often worried about it closing down one day, which is why I make a point of going there as often as possible, even with my young son. I highly recommend it. Greetings to the owner(s).

18/04/2026: Absolutely fantastic! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, a cozy ambiance—that's the setting. The food is perfect. The delicious and generous homemade pizzas, the quality meat, and the impeccable service at a more than reasonable price make you want to come back, which we did. Well done and thank you.

16/04/2026: Pizza Périgourdine (Crème fraîche, cheese, dried duck breast, goat cheese, olives, oregano) -> very good. Pizza La Coppa du Périgord (Cream, cheese, coppa from Périgord, Cantal AOP cheese, basil, Périgord walnuts, black olives, oregano) -> very good. The pizzas are good and generous. But the service is borderline amateurish. At the end of the meal, we were asked if there would be coffee. We replied, "no," and the waitress left us standing there. No instructions on how to pay, no "Have a good day."

26/04/2026: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! IT IS A SCAM! Be prepared to pay 2 or 3 x what the bill should actually cost. If I could give it a negative star rating, I would. Absolutely awful. Tourist trap. We are from Australia. We were hoping for a nice, convenient breakfast. The menu states a three course breakfast for 9.50 euros. The owner acts super charming and professional. He does speak English, so don’t let him scam you into thinking otherwise. He often brings around cakes and some sort of mint tea. He said it was on the house, we didn’t want anything, but we didn’t want to appear rude to his “kind hospitality”. We accepted ONE, very small treat, smaller than a note. he charged us 10 euro for that. He brought us mint tea to our table after our meal, we did not request this as we don’t drink tea. Again, we were being polite and drank it. He also charged us for that. When we questioned him about the bill at the end, he acted like he didn’t speak English. He demanded payment in cash, as the EFTPOS machine was allegedly broken. I have now realised he is a scam artist. The reviews say very similar things. I wish I read them before. Additionally, the toilets are in horrid condition and untidy. He provided us with a croissant basket. Halfway through our meal, we had a croissant left, he took it from us and then served it to a young girl outside. How’s that for food hygiene? Do not fall for this scam artists apparent nice nature, it’s all a facade. I can’t believe he hasn’t been shut down yet. A place like this in Australia would NEVER be allowed to operate. Shameful!

07/12/2025: First time at this crêperie, the galettes were very good with a fairly varied selection. The service was welcoming and the place was warm. The only thing they could improve is adding more filling to the crêpes, as my Kinder crêpe was more plain than it actually was.
