15/03/2026: Café Le Régent is a really great place to eat. The coffee is very good, and they also have other sweet treats. It's perfect for relaxing on the terrace, which is quite large and offers a beautiful view of the church in Caen.

15/03/2026: A lovely discovery for my birthday! The main course, fish, was delicious. The flan dessert was absolutely divine! The dining room was nicely decorated, with just a minor drawback being the lighting intensity… but that didn't spoil my overall positive experience.

We went in early to warm up, and we were glad we did because there are only a few seats, and they're often booked in advance! And we'll gladly return, after having tasted the chef's excellent cuisine and the kindness of his waitresses. Not forgetting the famous nougat! Keep up the good work! And thank you for the delicious food!

The products, magnified completely transformed by culinary talents, are offered to us in mezze form, to be nibbled on as we please. Local and authentic, certified by a love of the craft and the authenticity found in every dish. An address without glitz or glamour, but a festival of flavors, a rainbow of tastes that explodes on the tongue. They are young and full of enthusiasm; eating here is not only about pleasure but also about experiencing a certain grace. 10/03/2026: The welcome and service were excellent; the two girls were very kind and attentive. The food was good, but nothing special. I ordered fish, which was described as having potatoes and scallops. There were no potatoes, and only a small scallop. We were a little disappointed; we expected more flavor, especially in the main courses. Also, we found it a bit overwhelming to have so many menus and choices (two for meals, one for wine, and two suggestion boards) all at once. Perhaps reducing the number of choices would be a good idea and would allow for higher-quality dishes. 🤷‍♀️ We still had a good time, though.
