We had a small issue, and they called us back to let us know, which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend it.

29/07/2026: There were nine of us gathered for my husband's birthday. We were all delighted with the experience. We had lunch outside. The welcome was warm and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. The rib-eye steaks were more than generous. From the aperitif to the coffee, we had a wonderful time that we will remember.

11/08/2026: Lovely decor. Menu is okay but the food is gorgeous. When I say ok it’s because of paying 7€ for three bits of cheese and a badly seasoned salad on top of the 45€ menu. Thought that was pushing it as the cheeses seemed quite supermarket like - no taste and plastered. The atmosphere was ‘calfeutré’. Overall I’d go back but would aim for the list of dishes rather than the menus even though I’d pay more. The half wine bottles are expensive.

In the middle of your meal, you're invited to explore the troglodyte village surrounding the restaurant. Be aware that the set menu might be surprising, but it's what makes the concept so original and authentic.

04/08/2026: We had a delicious meal at L’Estellan in Gordes. The service was also excellent. One person needed to eat gluten-free. The menu clearly indicated the gluten-free options. There was more than enough choice. Plenty of tasty gluten-free bread was also offered. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
