18/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, with refined dishes, a varied and seasonal menu, local ingredients, and original recipes. The only slight drawback is that the subtlety of the dishes can sometimes be inconsistent from one course to another (for example, between vegetarian and meat dishes). It's possible to dine overlooking the Tarn River, either inside or on the terrace, depending on the weather.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. ❤️ Such a great find so close to our hotel. We’d happily go back again!

01/03/2026: We were visiting Perpignan, and as usual, we looked for specialty coffee shops. Although there weren't any listed under that name on the maps, we ended up going to La Cafetière Catalanes because of the reviews. The interior design is very iconic, with a strong identity and a clear focus on coffee. They sell various types of coffee; I don't know if they maintain a score of 80+ to be considered specialty coffee, but it's certainly a cut above your typical coffee shop. We only have two criticisms, and luckily at least one of them is constructive and could lead to improvement. The first, which I doubt they'll address, is the price of the coffee. I ordered a Flat White, and it cost €5.20. Let's just say that would be a more reasonable price for specialty coffee, especially with at least decent foam and latte art. The second issue they can improve is the service. I don't know if it was the same person who made the coffee, but the milk foam was terrible (you could see and hear the steam wand). The way they poured the milk into the cup was listless, and they didn't even try to do latte art. Important!! This criticism is based on the fact that the price and the product are not in line with the quality of the service. I would never criticize this level of service at a basic coffee shop. In short, they can improve significantly by making better use of the machine and their coffee service.

Excellent value for money with refined and flavorful dishes at a very reasonable price of €28 and €38 for the set menus. The welcome and service were impeccable and excellent as well. Delicious bread too! Well done to these young restaurateurs!
