The owner goes out of her way to welcome you, taking your helmets and jackets into her office, doing everything she can to find you a menu despite the current market conditions. The servers are all friendly. The service is quick, and what's more... the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The starters are a real treat, and the French toast is simply divine. A big thank you; we will continue to come back during our trips to Uzès.

20/09/2026: Disappointed with this order. I ordered a chicken udon dish (pasta) and, unfortunately, I found it extremely bland. The pasta was completely white, without even a proper coating of sauce… The result: very little flavor. The photos on Uber Eats are quite appealing and create a bit of a dream, but once the dish arrived, the reality was very different. It's a shame, especially considering the price. As for the chicken, the ingredients seemed fresh, but it was quite soft and not at all crispy as shown online. It was okay, but nothing exceptional. The biggest problem is the value for money: €21 for such a bland pasta dish is really very expensive. It's a shame, because with a little more sauce and flavor, the dish could have been much better. Personally, I don't recommend it and I don't think I'll be ordering again.

I myself contributed extensively to the Michelin Guide. I would like to commend your pastry chef regarding the coffee éclair. I have never eaten such a good coffee éclair. I am speechless at this stick filled with divine coffee cream that you offer us. I am blown away. Yet, my wife, who loves to spoil me (don't get me wrong, I'm talking about pastries), makes remarkably good coffee éclairs. But this one is exquisite. In length, depth, taste, texture, and filling: it's a delight. (I know someone who told me the same thing last night). To be honest, when I walk past your beautiful brown storefront—not like excrement, but brown like a coffee éclair—I can't just have one. I always end up having at least two. See three if I'm hungry. Know, dear bakery, that for many years I have pursued my insatiable quest for the best coffee éclair in Paris. I have never found better. I tease them, I devour them, I wreak havoc. It's a feat of gastronomy and you deserve your star. Long live Vandermarsh! Long live coffee! And as a great poet would say, "For coffee in the morning, I devour an éclair."

02/08/2026: The food is good, I must admit, but I suspect the burger patties are frozen, which I find disappointing. Furthermore, in an almost empty dining room, the waiter seated us right next to the only occupied table, which wasn't very comfortable. The music was too loud and didn't add much to the atmosphere, which is also a shame. To top it all off, the waiters' boisterous conversations were inappropriate in my opinion, as they loudly discussed divisive topics and customers, not to mention shouting to their colleagues across the room. It's a pity; I had heard good things about this establishment. I'm disappointed and won't be returning.

27/08/2026: We went to Bistrot des Vigiers after a morning at the spa. It was our first romantic meal together in a long time, without the children. We were celebrating our wedding in an intimate setting. Everything started very well. The aperitif and starter were excellent. For our main courses, we ordered the beef and the duck breast. After 45 minutes without being served, and seeing that everyone else was being served, and no longer having time to stay for another course (which would arrive who knows when, and we don't have unlimited childcare), we decided to leave and pay. The head waiter gave us an extremely poor reception, a hint of ego, and no apology whatsoever. He blamed us entirely for the significant delay: apparently, ordering medium-rare meat takes MUCH longer. This haughty gentleman didn't understand what we had to do other than wait to eat in his restaurant. What a disappointment for a restaurant located in such a 4-star hotel. We paid what we owed, he left with the bill, didn't say goodbye, offered no gesture of goodwill, and still no apology. We didn't expect to be treated like this. Our experience was ruined. We unfortunately won't be returning if we're ever in the area. It's a shame, the food looked very good.

30/08/2026: We had a wonderful time having dinner on the restaurant's patio. The dim sum were delicious. It's just a shame that there wasn't a small side dish served with the dim sum and that the dim sum platter with several varieties was only available as part of a set menu.

31/07/2026: A very warm welcome and super friendly service. The beer selection is truly varied! If you can't find something you like, you just weren't thirsty! The same goes for the rum and whisky! There's even a wall of sausage! In short, a place we'll definitely be back to. Thank you!

04/09/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times and we're never disappointed! The couscous is absolutely delicious, generously portioned, and incredibly flavorful. The staff is so kind and welcoming. On our last visit, the young waiter was absolutely lovely and very attentive. I don't know his name, but he was incredibly nice to us. They were also very accommodating in meeting our needs and gave us a small discount, which was really appreciated. We'll definitely be back; it's a great place! 😊

07/07/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Château de la Bégude. Everything was perfect! The hotel is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the ideal place to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
