13/08/2026: Excellent welcome, even though I was arriving at the end of my shift. We had a meal on the terrace, in the small inner courtyard at the foot of the ramparts. Remarkable value for money, and the service was young but very competent and dedicated! A pleasant surprise!

Not cool having to go get cash from the nearest ATM because they don't accept credit cards or checks.
Too bad, the server was nice.
29/08/2026: We've been regulars at Baan Siam for several years, eating there 6-7 times a year. It's always very good, with generous portions and a wide variety of choices, plus there's a great atmosphere and the service is generally excellent. There's not too much of a wait and I always find it's good value for money.

16/08/2026: The all-inclusive offer is very attractive for refined and delicious dishes. The service is perfect and friendly. However, there were no amuse-bouches with the aperitif, and the small cake served with coffee was pathetic. This is a shame and not up to the standard of a fine-dining restaurant. Another drawback is that the menu doesn't change for over a month, and only one dessert is offered with no other options.

The waiter clearly doesn't like his job, and if you want to add his nonchalant attitude to that, then you won't be disappointed!
A know-it-all who doesn't yet realize we'll never be back.
A tip was left nonetheless; we're not animals, even if we were treated like them!
PS: The bridge is definitely the beginning of the end.

Also, the delivery time is very long; it got worse 6 or 7 months ago, it wasn't like this.

08/09/2026: Home-style cooking with tasty and generous portions. We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas starter with flambéed chorizo and the salt cod gratin! A lovely touch at the end of the meal: a complimentary Portuguese liqueur! A great place with very friendly service.
06/09/2026: A place you absolutely must discover. We stumbled upon it on our way home from the Marsac flea market on Saturday at lunchtime. A very warm welcome, attentive service, a simple menu with delicious food! We shared our starter between two of us with a lovely rosé, and luckily we did, because the main course was very generous, followed by a fresh fruit salad. To finish, we were offered a Portuguese liqueur on the rocks! A real treat.

07/08/2026: We knew this place before Covid; the beef fillet was between 4.5 and 5 cm. We went there in August, and the fillet was 15 mm thick.
It was cooked medium (pink), even though we ordered it rare. The sauce wasn't homemade, and we had heartburn. There's a lack of staff, and it's impossible to satisfy customers under these conditions.
