04/07/2026: An excellent restaurant in Port Pothuau! We shared a wonderful meal with friends at this restaurant. The welcome was perfect, the atmosphere fantastic and warm, and the food was truly delicious. A great place to have a fantastic time. I highly recommend it!

28/06/2026: We came to try their famous bouillabaisse, and we have absolutely no complaints. The quality was excellent, as were the generous portions. To those who find the price high, I would simply say to consider the quality of the ingredients: the bouillabaisse is prepared with more than seven different types of fish, which more than justifies the price. The service was impeccable, delivered with a great sense of humor, which I particularly appreciated. As for the setting, it's certainly a bit dated, but that's precisely what gives it its charm. It reminded me of my twenties and added a touch of nostalgia to the meal. We had a wonderful gastronomic experience, and I will gladly return if I am ever in your region again.

22/07/2026: I visited on a solo trip. I wanted to eat tarte flambée, so I decided on Chappy's recommendation. I ordered a small salad, but it was very filling and incredibly delicious! I ordered a Riesling wine. I had to wait quite a while for the bill to be brought to my table after asking for it. It's best to come with plenty of time and patience.

17/07/2026: A terrible experience, both in terms of food quality and service. 1. We came at the end of the heatwave: it was intensely hot inside, there was no air conditioning, and no fans. This is unacceptable, both for the staff and the customers; it was suffocating! 2. The atmosphere is oppressive and the staff unfriendly. The heat cannot justify such behavior towards customers. 3. My friend and I ordered a warm goat cheese salad. We received a large amount of bagged salad, almost completely unseasoned. The "warm goat cheese" consisted of a slice of toasted, industrially produced white bread topped with a piece of goat cheese and a single piece of bacon. The same was true for my friend and her salmon, which was also served on slices of industrially produced white bread. Nine tables had the same experience. In short, avoid this place.

15/07/2026: Dog-friendly restaurant with a dog bar at the entrance! The dishes are generous, delicious, and served quickly (or not, depending on your preference). The daily specials were excellent. It's a shame I didn't have room for dessert... I'll definitely be back!

30/07/2026: I was there on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at dinnertime. We ordered wakame, lacquered duck breast, and shrimp gua bao. The shrimp were very good, the wakame was good, and the duck breast, although it was our least favorite, was perfectly acceptable. Perhaps it could have been cooked a little longer. But I suppose that's a matter of personal taste. I decided to write this review not because of the food, but because of the service. After dinner, I waited for my partner outside the restaurant for about 10 minutes. I was surprised by what I saw there. There was a very young waitress who provided excellent service to all the tables on the terrace, which are quite numerous, especially during peak dinner hours. I think I counted about 16-20 tables, more or less, between those for two and those for four people. Well, she attended to each and every one of them promptly, always smiling at every diner, taking orders quickly, asking if everything was alright, and as she was leaving, she'd take the opportunity to clear not just one table, but two or three at once. Then she'd straighten the chairs and wipe everything down to make it shine... As I said, all while serving customers. She moved in and out of the restaurant like a whirlwind, always, as I said, smiling. She didn't seem stressed at all and showed patience and professionalism with the diners. I was truly impressed to see someone so young working like that. Moreover, as if that weren't enough, she was in charge of directing her colleagues to the correct table to pay when you went to settle the bill. I thought that if I had a business in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to offer her a job. Keep an eye on that waitress.

30/07/2026: The wok-seared lacquered duck breast is excellent. The burgers and fries are top-notch. Very friendly staff. Quick service. A great place to eat.

The service was discreet and professional, and the meal was delicious 👌 all for a very reasonable price considering the quality and service. I highly recommend them. 27/07/2026: Plan ahead for your orders; we called around 7 pm on a Monday evening and the pizzas weren't ready until 8:40 pm. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you're in a hurry, it might not be the best option for you! The pizzas were delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly. I recommend it!

27/06/2026: I want to share my experience at La Sirena restaurant, which I found particularly unpleasant. I won't comment on the food, which I found adequate but lacking any real excitement or charm. I feel compelled to highlight the atmosphere created by the restaurant staff, especially the supposed "owner," who was present during my visit. I can't help but mention the extremely offensive comments I overheard from my table, directed at his own staff as well as customers, mostly women. A remark about the appearance of one of his employees made me particularly uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place where, clearly, the appearance of the female customers takes precedence over the quality of service.

25/07/2026: It's become a complete mess... the location is good, the drinks are like other Ninkasi locations... but it was such a chaotic mess (even though it wasn't very crowded) that we got back in the car and went to the one at Part-Dieu where everything went smoothly. No more service on the terrace... they told us to get lost, saying we had to order at the bar... then wait, etc. Was I supposed to bring my own burger ingredients too? I like Ninkasi, but I won't be setting foot in the Guillotière one again... or maybe the managers were on vacation and the servers didn't feel like working? Two customers lost...

21/07/2026: The terrace was packed. We were seated outside without any problem. Our order was taken a little slowly, but the waitress was very pleasant and smiling. It was a busy time for all the servers because of the crowd, but they remained very friendly. I can't comment on the restaurant itself, but for a drink, don't hesitate to go; the welcome is warm.
