16/07/2026: The guests before us were shown to a table, but we were told that it was full, even though there were several tables free without reservation signs. We were sent away to our surprise.

23/05/2026: Excellent meal 👍 The four of us, dining on the terrace, had a wonderful meal. Among other things, the wild boar stew was delicious, and the cheesecake dessert was divine! And the tomato juice was fantastic too 👍👍😋

03/07/2026: Perfect dinner. The chef creates dishes with love and experience. The hostess welcomed us courteously and meticulously kept the plates and silverware spotless after each course. Highly recommended.

18/01/2026: Long waits during the week, 40 minutes for a plate of pâté and a Montbéliard salad; some people left without having dessert. A victim of their own success in terms of both the quality and price of the food, I suppose. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and the food was good quality.

22/11/2025: Fantastic brasserie! Top-notch welcome! Perfect service 👍 Typical brasserie atmosphere… Beaujolais Nouveau, daily specials, and conversations with the next table! The owner is present and genuinely cares about offering a good, homemade, and affordable meal! Nothing to complain about except one thing: remember to book!

24/04/2026: A 5/5, I loved it!! The dishes are incredibly authentic, capturing all the flavors of this beautiful country (the schabowy is perfect). The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous (big eaters might want to avoid the pierogies). The vodkas are imported straight from Poland, frozen to provide the perfect refreshment after a meal. The atmosphere varies, but always in the best way. There were only two tables when we arrived, creating a lovely, calm, and intimate ambiance, perfect for a romantic dinner. Later, the place became more crowded, bringing with it the joy of close-knit tables where conversations and recommendations mingle, all under the watchful eyes of the charming waitresses who happily contribute to this wonderful evening. In conclusion, I would say that this restaurant transported us, if only for the duration of a meal. ✨

26/06/2026: My actual rating is 67/10. The guys do such a great job; it's like they're taking care of their own children while making the pizza. That feeling comes through in the taste almost immediately. Honestly, I recommend it.

25/07/2026: The Decline of an Institution. This venerable inn was a part of the highlights of our lives for over 10 years. The staff was friendly and attentive. The cuisine: traditional, generous, and subtly modernized. 3 people for €235. 3 Impressionist Menus: We started with a vegetable medley as a starter. Passable, but served with what looked like ham toasts on undercooked pastry. For the main course, a trout roast. Imagine our disappointment when we discovered it was a sort of dry trout sausage served with a greenish sauce... All served with sticky poppy seed rice, Japanese-style. Where is the excellence of French cuisine? For dessert, Grand Marnier soufflés, as always perfectly executed and delicious. A true delight. A small consolation prize for an extra €5 (on a €60 menu). Another disappointment: the quality of the service. The wait was far too long (over 40 minutes between courses). We also had the unpleasant feeling of unequal attention and treatment among the customers. We had to call the waiter once for the menu, another time for the wine list, and a third time for water. The tables next to us were served much faster, with waiters who seemed very attentive. In conclusion: A menu that sometimes doesn't reflect the spirit of French cuisine, with very questionable quality. Very expensive for the quality of the food. Slow and careless service.

01/03/2026: A lovely hotel with a very warm welcome. The staff were professional and courteous. A special thank you to Sabrina who, throughout our stay, dedicated herself to making it as pleasant as possible. Thanks also to the chef for the wonderful meals: a cuisine to discover, specialties to devour, and a cheerful atmosphere right from breakfast (absolutely fantastic!). The location is ideal for enjoying the ski areas of Essert and La Chapelle d’Abondance or for exploring the surrounding area. We will be back. Hélène and Fabrice.

31/05/2026: They refuse service to single people. The waitress very skillfully brushes me off, telling me the restaurant is full; it must be noon, there's only a family of four having drinks on the empty terrace. I naively insist, explaining that a small table in a corner inside doesn't bother me; I'm just passing through on a motorcycle ride. The waitress calls the owner, who refuses me a second time. Not a single customer has walked through the door since.

16/03/2026: A nice spot to take a break between runs. The food is good, the terrace is often sunny, the service is quite friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

04/08/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been back, and frankly, I wasn't disappointed. It was really delicious! The prices are very reasonable, the portions are generous and beautifully presented. The waitresses are welcoming, smiling, and provide impeccable service. A little music always adds to the enjoyment 🥳 I highly recommend this restaurant and I'll gladly return!
