18/06/2026: A wonderful discovery in Fontenay-sous-Bois! We had a fantastic time at Les Clanchistes. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and it made us want to come back. The dishes were sophisticated, delicious, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. You can tell there's real care put into both the food and the customer experience. A place I highly recommend!

24/07/2026: We just had our wedding here in mid July and it was perfect! The Chateau is a spectacular backdrop to a whole weekend of celebrations. If you’re looking for someplace private and beautiful for your wedding, with lots of charm, this is the place. If the Chateau itself doesn’t sell you, the family that owns and runs it should. Luke and Lily are phenomenal, Sasha is amazing with the flowers, and Tim is always greeting us with a smile and happy to share some building history. They run the place so well and are the perfect level of helpful, while providing advice and suggestions but also allowing us to make all decisions that we wanted and having our own ideas. All preparations and planning done ahead of time by Luke and Lily made the weekend easy and exactly what we wanted. The flowers, food, decor, accommodation, and chateau itself are lovely. Every staff member we encountered over the stay was incredibly friendly, helpful, and fantastic, as well. We don’t have enough wonderful things to say about this beautiful place. If we had to do this all over again, we wouldn’t change any of it, and our guests agreed! Thank you so much!

20/07/2026: I found the venue through a website that listed chateaus in France. Without knowing the town or even having been to France before, my husband and I took a chance on the charming Chateau du Puits Es Pratx. We were in constant communication with Luke before making the decision, and he answered our many many questions. Luke was very transparent about all the wedding planning details and even gave us a virtual tour. To our surprise, the Chateau was already fully booked for almost two years! In August 2024 we booked our May 2026 wedding date. Since then, Luke handed the planning to Lily. Lily gave us an initial timeline of what needed to be decided on, as well as a cost sheet so we could keep track of our budget. She kept in contact with us throughout our engagement, but it wasn't until January 2026 when we were full steam ahead on planning. The following four months were crazy (as expected with any wedding) but always organized and full of transparency. Lily humored all my unconventional requests and responded to every thought and e-mail. The peak of our planning happened alongside Lily having a baby, and she absolutely did not miss a beat. Unlike a lot of newly engaged couples, we did not physically see the venue or taste the menus before arriving for our wedding weekend(we're based in New Orleans). BUT, when we did arrive the Thursday before our wedding, I was in awe. Ginestas is about a 20 minute drive from Narbonne with no traffic. The drive itself was beautiful with vineyards and poppies lining the road. We were warned beforehand that transportation would be somewhat difficult and/or expensive to and from Narbonne. Luckily, Luke and Lily helped us prearrange transportation for the entire weekend for all 55 of our guests. The grounds itself felt like a movie set; so charming and well manicured. Pictures do not do it justice at all. All of our guests felt the same upon arrival. Also, when each of our guests arrived, Luke and chateau staff were so kind and organized to check everyone in. A lot of the rooms were redone recently so it was nice and updated. The wedding suite was nice and comfortable. The food. The food needs it's own separate review, honestly. Though I didn't get to eat a lot, as most brides regret, the food I did have was AMAZING. I was told constantly by our guests that the food was excellent. This was one of the things we were worried about since we weren't visiting before our wedding. We read previous reviews that raved about the food, but we were still a little doubtful. We were also worried about the quantity and serving sizes. As Americans, we definitely love our big servings. As New Orleanians, we have high standards for food. I also had family from the Philippines, and Filipinos can eat. The chateau definitely satisfied EVERYONE. From my husband's giant, multi-serving friends to my food editor cousin and my food appreciating aunts, to my shellfish allergic guests. Every one of our guests loved the food. I can't say anything about the shoulder meals but we did have breakfast everyday and it was great. There are only 2 restaurants in the nearby town, so I would recommend getting the extra meals. Also, get the duck. The Chateau really functioned like a well-oiled machine. It was really organized and you can tell they specialize in weddings. Luke and Lily both acted as our day of coordinators and they really helped with the flow of the day. The staff were also so nice, welcoming and professional. We especially liked Laurent, the groundskeeper. He was so friendly and he put my nerves at ease when we thought it might rain. My favorite thing about our wedding were the flowers. I sent Lily very specific flowers and inspiration images that weren't in their repertoire at the time, and I was a little nervous about the execution. Sasha outdid herself. We got so many compliments about the flower arrangements and they really nailed the vision. I'm positive I'm forgetting something, but I can't speak highly enough of Chateau du Puits Es Pratx as a wedding venue and in general. I would love to visit again!

19/05/2026: Excellent Vietnamese and Thai restaurant! The welcome was fantastic and the service pleasant. I had the shrimp rice, my girlfriend had the beef: both dishes were very good, well-seasoned, and generous portions. A minor drawback was the French toast, which we weren't as impressed with. Overall, a very good place that I highly recommend!

17/05/2026: I've always loved Saigon tuk-tuks; they're very good, especially back when Anthony and his two sons were there. A warm welcome. I have nothing to say against the restaurant; it's the people who treat me or give me the best.

07/07/2026: Today, it's probably the only place in Gujan worth paying special attention to for a meal and a drink... It's unpretentious but above all efficient, with excellent food in the restaurant and great value for money, a lovely atmosphere in the bar... A warm welcome and quality service. Worth a visit all year round...

07/07/2026: A huge thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome! We were a group of 18, and you kindly agreed to accommodate us without a reservation, which is no small feat, both in the dining room and the kitchen. Despite this, the service was friendly, cheerful, and incredibly efficient. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, which is no small feat with such a large group! A special mention goes to the octopus, which was absolutely delicious. Thank you again for your kindness and professionalism. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely return!

23/06/2026: First time here, and definitely not my last! Attractive prices for an astronomical amount of food—what a treat! And a big plus for the poutine selection, which was all delicious (pastrami and chicken in particular). 🤤 A great place to have in mind for a night out with friends or for exploring new places. ✨ And a big thumbs up from my partner, who gave it his seal of approval 👀 (he lived in the US 🇨🇦). And a big thumbs up from me for the absolute kindness of the restaurant owner. 🫶🏻 PS: The choice of punk/rock/metal music was fantastic! 🤘🏻

25/01/2026: We came as a group of seven to celebrate a birthday and received a pleasant and warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the aperitifs to the birthday cake. The dishes were generous and delicious, and the service was impeccable. A very good, friendly, and delicious restaurant.

24/05/2026: A wonderful weekend with my sisters and brothers-in-law, as always. The rooms were cozy, the food was excellent, and the breakfast was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, having come for years and always remaining very satisfied. I highly recommend it.

18/04/2026: We spent a day at the hotel spa, or rather, two hours at the spa and two hours at the restaurant for lunch. To be honest, as frequent restaurant and hotel diners, we expected much better. First, at the restaurant, the welcome was quite cordial. The service, however, was very slow. The wait between courses was interminable. The waitress told us about her health problems even though we hadn't asked, and the waiter cleared the table by placing the cloth bread basket on top of a sauce-covered plate. We headed to the spa hoping to relax. But what a disappointment! While the establishment looked high-quality from the outside, the arrival at the spa was… negative. There were just two changing rooms, the walls of which were partially moldy. A sort of locker room without a shower. A hairdryer that must have been at least 20 years old. The spa is very small, with two saunas and a hammam that wasn't working. Too few sun loungers for the number of customers. The sensory showers were overcrowded. The jacuzzi wasn't very hot. The tiles around the pool were extremely slippery. After an hour and a half at the spa, we decided to leave. Really disappointed with our visit. Very poor value for money.

28/07/2026: We ate at a nice table for two by the beach. Saturday, July 25th. The meal was simple, good, but quite expensive for what was on the plate. The side dishes were uninteresting (raw yellow and orange carrots without sauce). The main course was octopus and tuna tataki. The service wasn't great at the restaurant, but the worst was on the beach... We had to chase after the beach attendant. He brought us ice cream without napkins or anything, and the ice cream dripped onto our towels when he put it down. Towards the end, he started arguing with the people next to him, saying, "Go pay now and never come back here again..." What a disgrace for this place to speak to its customers like that! I doubt the owner is happy with his beach attendant, especially since they were good customers who had ordered food and were seated at the far end of the beach. It's a shame that service in France is so disastrous; it gives a bad impression.

28/07/2026: Simply dreamy! Maobi Beach in Agay impresses not only with its stunning scenery but also with its incredibly friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere is relaxed, the ambiance beautiful, and the view simply breathtaking. A perfect place to escape the everyday and spend some quality time by the sea. We'll definitely be back! 🌊☀️

24/07/2026: This was my first time in France and I was here for our last evening in Paris with my fiancé. Chez Fred was perfect - the meal and also the staff was so perfect, we did communicate in french even though we are not quite fluent in french - I can't recommend this place enough. Best regards, our heart is full !!

30/05/2026: The hotel is cute, the breakfast is great, the staff is very lovely, kind and friendly. There was, however a heatwave in Paris 90 F degrees/32 C, and the AC didn’t work. They didn’t tell us this when we checked in or before arrival. They gave us a fan. Guest relations said they couldn’t get it fixed for a week because everyone in Paris was calling the repair people and they were booked. They did offer for us to check out early, but said our hotel points wouldn’t be credited for a few days, meaning we couldn’t immediately reuse them to book at another Hilton property with working air conditioning. It was miserable to try and sleep in a hot room, otherwise our stay would have been great. Moving to another hotel without points would cost about $2,000 USD. Very disappointing. :(

26/05/2026: Our experience here was beyond incredible! The staff are attentive and made us feel welcome immediately. I highly recommend room 709. The views of the city are amazing. We will definitely return. Thank you for making our first trip to Paris so memorable.

14/07/2026: Our first experience with friends at this restaurant, and the quality of the food is incredible! Everything is extremely well prepared, and the seasonings are perfectly balanced. The flavor is definitely there. The portions might seem small, but in the end, by the time you finish your meal, it's just right! The wine recommendation was spot-on, and we appreciated the warm welcome and friendly service! Kudos to the whole team! It was a real pleasure. We ordered several dishes to share and enjoy, including drinks and desserts! The price is quite reasonable. The only slight drawback is the location, which is very busy and a bit noisy, but that's to be expected in the city center.

08/07/2026: Best place in Reims for some Oysters and a glass of Champagne. We had two nice dinners here during of our stay.

17/07/2026: Small, but the food is excellent, the welcome, the atmosphere, the owners and the service are absolutely lovely! Everything is top-notch and it's always a real pleasure to come back!

29/06/2026: Today at lunchtime, first and last time at this restaurant. Disappointing experience, luckily I was a guest… Let me explain: we had taken the trouble to book, but when we arrived our table wasn't ready. Never mind. Then, we wanted three daily specials, but there were only two left at 12:20 pm… We asked if it was possible to have another dish instead that would fit into the lunch menu. Answer: no. Okay, the waitress explained, apologized. Her bosses weren't there. We understood. We looked at the menu and there (magical, I'd NEVER seen this before!) it was written in black and white that those who only ordered a starter would be charged €2 extra! Basically, they penalize customers who don't order enough and they put it in writing! Unheard of 🤯😅 I won't even mention the enormous, indigestible mess they served me for my main course, which was supposed to be a mixed salad. In short, if customers are happy with it, great, there's something for everyone. For us, it's a thumbs up 👎
