18/03/2026: I miss the days of Rosalie. Everything has gone up in price and down in quantity… For example, the frog legs as a starter used to be around €15 for a good portion; now there are two choices, one for the starter and one for the main course. The starter is roughly the same price with half the number of frog legs. And the main course has gone up to over €20… and is often overcooked… What a shame

07/03/2026: Unfortunately, since the reopening, the restaurant has deteriorated significantly... Prices have gone up! The meat isn't even seasoned. The waiters are already setting tables for the next day while there are still customers in the restaurant. We wondered if they were going to kick us out... When we told the manager that the food wasn't good, she offered no apology and didn't even mention a price, even though we left our food untouched... The waitress even got angry at us when we said things weren't good! In short, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We really miss the previous owners, who were much nicer.

11/05/2026: We came to this roadside restaurant for breakfast expecting a warm welcome, but quite the opposite; we really felt like we were bothering them. My husband ordered a set menu with a large hot chocolate, but there was no milk, then a decaf, and there was no milk either. Finally, there was a little milk left, so I got that one anyway, at the price of a large. In short, I don't recommend this restaurant because, for the first time since I started writing reviews, this is truly the first one where I've been disappointed.

The service was average; there was a long wait for everyone to get their food, and a few mistakes...this was probably due to the large number of people in the dining room or a staff shortage that day. I still recommend it, though.

05/06/2026: An intimate restaurant with front and back terraces in addition to the dining room. Impeccable presentation! The confit was excellent, the burger was beautiful and flavorful, made with beetroot and no added sugar (unlike fast food). Simple and genuine cuisine; I commend the chef, the waitstaff, and even the apprentice. The prices are reasonable for the quality: well done!

25/05/2026: I tried this little sushi restaurant on a quiet street in Castres on a Monday evening, and frankly, it was a very pleasant experience. Before going, I had seen several reviews criticizing the fact that the owners speak very little French. Personally, I find this criticism quite unfair. Discovering international cuisine also means accepting another culture and another way of communicating. The owners run the restaurant alone; they are elderly and have difficulty understanding French, but everything is designed to keep things simple: the menus use numbers and letters, so ordering is no problem at all. As for the meal, it was excellent. The portions were very generous, the fish was fresh, and you could tell the food was prepared with care. The restaurant is quiet, without loud or annoying music, which makes for a relaxing experience. You can just hear the cooking and the natural ambiance of the place, which is far from bothersome. The owner might seem a little reserved at first, but he genuinely tries to make customers feel comfortable and is very kind. The cook is also very friendly, and everyone takes the time to wish them a pleasant evening as they leave. A small, simple, authentic, and welcoming restaurant where the food is excellent and the service deserves to be appreciated more.

30/01/2026: Friendly staff, an explosion of flavors on the plate, a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended whether you're looking for a drink, a meal, or a film, as it's also an art house cinema, among other things.

31/05/2026: We ate there on the evening of the 30th and it was absolutely delicious! Our congratulations to the people who prepared our meals; it was incredible. We opted for the €38 set menu (starter, main course, dessert, and a quarter-liter of wine included), and for the price, we were spoiled rotten. The portions were truly generous; we even struggled to finish the French toast. We arrived around 8:30 pm on the evening of the Champions League final, so it wasn't very busy. It would be interesting to see what it's like under normal circumstances.
