20/06/2026: While passing through, we stumbled upon this gem. Astrid and her husband delighted us with the best moules frites we've ever had. With a salad buffet, a huge pot of moules, cheese, and dessert, we were more than satisfied. And all at a reasonable price. Simply wonderful and charming! 🥰

12/04/2026: On Saturday, we had lunch as a group at Astrid's, and as usual, it was memorable. The paella was simply excellent: flavorful, fragrant, and particularly generous. The portions were truly generous. Astrid's welcome is just like her cooking: warm and friendly. It's the perfect place for a large group. I highly recommend it, especially if you have a hearty appetite!

12/09/2026: A good restaurant, right at the foot of Place Stanislas. The terrace is very pleasant on sunny days. The focaccia is healthy and the Roman-style pizza is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and with generous portions. The service and welcome were pleasant (although a little slow, but acceptable given how busy it was).

28/08/2026: The setting is calm and pleasant, the servers very kind and friendly, but we were terribly disappointed with the food. The mussels were literally cold, barely washed, half-closed, and the few that were open were overcooked. Even though our kind server offered us another pot of mussels, we didn't want to take any chances with seafood. A real shame.

30/07/2026: Nice, chilled, casual pizzeria. Pizza base is nice and authentic, emmental cheese is used on all pizza rather than mozzarella so the cheese only pizza (ie margherita) tastes different to an Italian pizza, its not so noticeable when there are other topping. Margherita probably had too much cheese and not enough tomato sauce, still we enjoyed our visit and food. Staff were very friendly.

20/07/2026: I came to this Japanese bakery in Paris after seeing that it had a 4.6/5 rating. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of these excellent reviews. First of all, I want to mention that the staff was pleasant and welcoming. However, the quality of the products offered is, in my opinion, far from justifying the prices. I started with a fig cake. Unfortunately, the fig flavor was practically nonexistent, completely masked by the cake, which dominated the mouth. For my drink, I ordered a salty ginger and yuzu beverage, described as refreshing and perfect for summer. It was simply undrinkable. It really tasted like seawater, like when you swallow a mouthful of water at the beach. The amount of salt was far too much, and as if that weren't enough, the rim of the glass was also coated in salt. Visually, it's pretty, but in practice, it makes the drink even harder to enjoy. Instead of being refreshing, it made us even thirstier. The woman still offered to add sugar. As if that would change the abnormally high salt content… My companion chose a cake that turned out to be extremely dry, bland, and completely tasteless. Since the first drink had made me more thirsty than anything else, I was forced to order a second. So I opted for a strawberry matcha latte. Again, a huge disappointment. Having tasted many strawberry matcha lattes, and working myself in a bubble tea establishment that serves this drink, I can say that the balance was really off. You could barely taste the strawberry; only the matcha flavor dominated. We left extremely disappointed. For a total of around fifty euros, we had three disappointing drinks and three small slices of dry, bland, and characterless cake. At this price point, I expected much higher quality. Therefore, I feel the establishment's overall rating doesn't reflect our experience at all.

05/07/2026: I'm not sure why this small Japanese cafe gets such high star ratings. The owners are true Japanese and they were super friendly. They definitely had pretty pastries, as well as shaved ice, and colorful lattes. From the facade, this place looked perfect. We stopped by for some iced lattes. Let me just put it this way. If it wasn't for the friendly server who made us feel better just with her smile, I would've given this a lower rating. Essentially, we tried 3 different "lattes" - hojicha, black seasame, and mango. Just because you mix milk with syrup or related ingredient, it just doesn't become a latte. All the 3 drinks felt "off" and we had to add sugar and stevia just to stem the random flavor. Massive disappointment as we were expecting Japanese perfection towards making pretty, tasty drinks. And they aren't cheap either. Perhaps their pastries are good. But based on what we experienced, again, wouldn't visit again. Also keep in mind that the store is tiny. And they also sell food... So at this point, we are really confused in what the cafe is for and what are they good at.
