14/07/2026: Always an excellent place; we'd been there a few years ago. It's a place I recommend to everyone I know. The dishes are worthy of a top chef, and the service is impeccable. Don't hesitate to ask the waiter for advice if you're torn between two dishes. The only downside is that this level of culinary quality is impossible to replicate at home.

16/09/2026: We happened to walk in at the end of service as we hadn't made a reservation. We were greeted by the entire team who took excellent care of us, even offering us coffee. The food and portions were very good, and the decor, with its motorcycle theme, charmed us; we'll gladly return. The manager was available and attentive when we paid at the register—easy to deal with when you're talking about motorcycles… Let's not forget that we enjoyed a shaded and peaceful outdoor terrace.

14/09/2026: Table Friday evening 11 o9 26. Very nice place but terrible service, no smile or word. Change careers, become a prison guard. Very disappointed. We went for a drink elsewhere after the meal. What a disappointment! It's not just good food, it's painful. Very, very disappointed. Avoid at all costs.

02/04/2026: It feels like you're in the mountains! The restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a wide variety of choices on the menu; I've never been disappointed! A major plus is the originality of their cheese melting machine—I haven't seen it anywhere else! A must-try!

01/04/2026: We arrived for dinner at 8:30 pm, just the two of us. There were only two tables occupied in the restaurant, and we were politely told to look elsewhere…

20/08/2026: We had taken the precaution of making a reservation to ensure both a table was available and we knew the service time. Unfortunately, after a 45-minute wait, we still hadn't received our menus or been able to order. So we ended up leaving. A very disappointing experience, especially since the whole point of a reservation is to be able to plan ahead and avoid this kind of wait.

27/08/2026: Very good, well-located brasserie, welcoming staff, great atmosphere with very easy parking right next to the train station in a charming little town. I highly recommend it; the food is good and homemade.

26/08/2026: We've been to Le Rail several times and the food is very good, the portions are generous and the staff are very friendly. The manager is very nice 😊

29/09/2026: A very pleasant meal on the terrace (Sunday lunchtime). Homemade food. One small drawback: my fries were a little hard. The service was a bit slow, but given how busy it was, that was understandable. We enjoyed the lovely weather while we waited. 😉☀️ We'll definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team at 7 Plats.

28/09/2026: We were very disappointed by the welcome and service. A blonde waitress was particularly unpleasant and rude throughout the meal. We had barely started our aperitif when we were asked to choose our main courses. A few minutes later, she came back to ask us again what we wanted to eat, clearly very impatient. The most regrettable thing was that our main courses were finally served before we had even finished our aperitif. We were also served cold fries. At the end of the meal, we were asked if we wanted dessert. When we said no, the waitress left immediately, without a word, even though we wanted to have another coffee and a digestif. We really felt like we were being rushed out the door. The service was very unfriendly and the attitude was truly unpleasant. It's a shame, because a good meal isn't enough: the welcome and the quality of the service are also part of the experience.

23/09/2026: Excellent service; the caramelized duck was a standout—delicious! The dessert menu features an assortment of mini desserts: tiramisu, crème brûlée, and chocolate orange mousse, all served with coffee—excellent!

10/09/2026: The "bleeding" cheeseburger was particularly good, despite its rather plain appearance. The portion of fries was generous, and I appreciated having the ketchup bottle within easy reach. The meal ended perfectly with a Dame Blanche (ice cream with a small amount of ice cream, but a very chocolatey flavor).

19/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, perfect service, extremely friendly staff. I didn't take a picture of the pizzas, I forgot how beautiful they looked, they disappeared immediately 😂 I took a picture of this fruit cup ice cream, although it also disappeared at the speed of light 😀 thanks for the wonderful atmosphere..all the recommendations.. 🥰❤️

13/08/2026: Excellent pizza and dishes with a wide selection. A great bonus: if you don't finish your meal, they'll pack up the rest for you to take home. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is spacious and has parking.

04/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ We had a great time at this restaurant, with many positive aspects but also a few areas for improvement. The food was excellent: the dishes were very good, beautifully presented, and the menu offered enough variety to please everyone. However, the €7.50 supplement for a burrata seemed excessive. The service was a pleasant surprise. Despite the restaurant being almost full, we were served quickly. The staff was warm, smiling, and very friendly. The main drawback was the atmosphere in the main dining room. The noise level was extremely high, with the sounds of the kitchen, the clattering of dishes, and conversations from other tables. It was difficult to have a quiet conversation, whether as a family or a couple. Furthermore, it was particularly hot inside. Fortunately, the staff kindly moved us to a covered terrace. The atmosphere there was much more pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. In summary, I recommend this restaurant for the quality of its food and service. However, if you're looking for a quiet and convivial meal, opt for the terrace or outdoor seating when available.

24/08/2025: We ate there three years ago on our way back from vacation, and we did the same again this year... and it was just as excellent as ever! The frogs' legs with their gratin (simply superb), the black-eyed pea mushrooms... in short, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and so did our children! We learned that they're retiring in a month (well deserved!!) but that the next generation will be in good hands... stay tuned! We wish you a wonderful retirement and thank you again for this fantastic recommendation!

22/07/2026: A friendly face immediately upon entering. You are served quickly and the food was delicious. Nice music and a great atmosphere. The only downside is that they don't speak English. But oh well. That's not such a big deal these days. Google Translate works wonders.
