The setting is lovely and cozy, the welcome was pleasant, and the waiter was delightful, smiling, and attentive to his customers—a rare find these days! I commend him for his professionalism and shared my extremely positive feedback for a young waiter just starting out in the profession. I wish him a successful career; he deserves it! The food is delicious, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. I will gladly return. I highly recommend Bistrot "La Confidente," located opposite Tenon Hospital.

01/09/2026: Small, very quiet campsite. Chalet with a breathtaking view. Spacious. We didn't need air conditioning during our stay at the end of August; nature took care of that. We just missed having a coffee machine. If you're coming with your dog, chalet 6 is a dream, with the forest right behind it. As for the inn, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. They really take care of you. The family runs the dining room and the kitchen, and everything is homemade or sourced from neighboring producers. The new owner, who took over a year ago, is keeping things on track! It's a lovely place to be, and it's very pleasant. Best of luck. Thank you.

The staff were really friendly and smiling, very welcoming. The young waitress with the long eyelashes took excellent care of us. I highly recommend her! 01/09/2026: A great spot in the heart of Croix-Rousse, with an original concept offering both Southwestern and Lyonnais specialties. The cassoulet is delicious, and they also have quenelles and other Lyonnais specialties. Plenty of choice, affordable prices, and a charming and very friendly owner. A place worth discovering.

23/07/2026: Located in a village of just over 1,000 inhabitants, this restaurant is a delightful surprise! With a very attractive set menu (starter, main course, and dessert for €25), the quality, despite this more than affordable price, is excellent! Bold flavors, generous portions, and attentive service (especially from the young waiter, who was particularly energetic and helpful). The mussel stew was very generous! The half-moon steak was flavorful! The main courses and desserts were well-balanced! The menu selection is limited, which reflects the freshness of the ingredients! Indeed, there are 4 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts on the menu. However, even though we aren't vegetarian, it's a shame there aren't any vegetarian options for the main course... On the other hand, "Le Gabarier" is committed to inclusivity for people with reduced mobility thanks to its accessibility! We had a lovely time and have rarely seen such good value for money (especially since the restaurant is located near several tourist attractions such as Crazannes Castle, the Crazannes Stone, the Lapidiales, and Panloy Castle). We highly recommend this restaurant! PS: Thank you for the thoughtful touch of directing the fans so they're perfectly positioned for the diners!

14/08/2026: A lunch offering excellent value for money. A lot of effort went into the food. The dishes were beautifully presented and expertly executed. The dessert was a real highlight: a clove ice cream that was a true explosion of flavor.

11/08/2026: I've been two or three times in different years when we spend our summers in Pézenas, and it always surprises me. Everything we've tried has been delicious, with intense flavors and perfect combinations. You can tell there's a lot of care behind each dish. The service is another of its strong points: very attentive, friendly, and professional. And the desserts… spectacular. It's true that the price is high, and if you have a big appetite, some portions might seem a bit small, but in the end, between the individual dishes and the overall experience, you leave more than satisfied. For me, it's one of those places worth returning to because you always find something that surprises you. That said, it's small, and **you have to make a reservation**, especially if you want to guarantee a table.
