09/06/2026: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! The waiter was exceptionally kind: smiling, attentive, and responsive, not to mention the lovely waitress. We tried the bourride, which was excellent and very generous. We will definitely return on our next trip to Saint Mandrier.

07/06/2026: Second visit to St. Mandrier and second meal at Calypso. Whether it was the bourride, the mussels, or the fish of the day, each time a delight. The service is quick and friendly. "Never two without three," as they say: so see you soon!

14/05/2026: What a discovery! The decor is cozy and welcoming, the platters are generous, and each photo shows the portion size for one person. But for both novices and connoisseurs, the owner and his team are brimming with knowledge and passion for wine and our local region. An extraordinary wine collection; I highly recommend the blind tasting.

08/05/2026: We just had a wonderful evening with a blind tasting of five wines, which allowed us to taste extraordinary old vintages of great wines (1994, 2004, 1975, etc.). The concept is exceptional for wine lovers! And the young servers are truly passionate and enjoy sharing their knowledge! The price seems high, but given the wines we tasted, it's absolutely worth it! Plus, there was a platter of delicious treats... 5 stars!

09/06/2026: A stopover for a group of 25 people before returning to Toulouse. One standard toilet and one squat toilet for men. A small buffet of cold cuts and a few salads, followed by a main course of herb ravioli and dessert. Wine was served in a large plastic pitcher. Simple, but adequate for a quick meal. Parking nearby for the bus.

26/05/2026: I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but since we were asked twice… here goes. There were three of us. Upon arrival, we were seated at an outdoor table, with no option for indoor/outdoor seating, just a table outside. This table and the chairs were placed on slate paving stones, which were themselves on bare earth. As a result, the chairs were precariously balanced between the paving stones and the earth. Furthermore, we were sitting directly under a tree that seemed to be teeming with small insects. Nothing alarming in itself, but since the ground wasn't level and our guest wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of ​​potential insects in her cocktail, we politely asked to move. At that point, we felt like we were annoying the person in charge of the service. Furthermore, my partner pointed out that the small aperitif, though much appreciated, had been removed as soon as my starter arrived, which seemed a bit rushed to me. So, two people were going to be watching me eat my starter without anything (but let's not judge). And then, a “terrible mistake”: our friend told us she has a phobia of insects in food. Since there were still some at the second table, we politely asked if it would be possible to eat inside. Let's not dwell on the fact that we were gently mocked by the server when we made this second request, and on the very clear impression that we were being “annoying” (sorry for wanting the three people at the table to feel comfortable while eating). Finally seated inside, I had the unpleasant feeling that they were trying to serve us as quickly as possible to get rid of us. My starter and main course were decent, and our friend's main course was generous. Our friend, who ate a little more slowly, hadn't finished her meal when our plates were cleared. The waiter explained it was to speed up service, but it was clumsy. The fact that they also removed my partner's unfinished glass of beer really made us feel like we were intruding… Even though, as customers, we clearly annoyed the staff, it doesn't seem very justified to me. We weren't really inclined to order dessert anymore. We paid and left. And I understand that, after reading this, people might question our honesty. I initially intended not to revisit this experience, but since we've been asked twice, here it is.

25/05/2026: Everything was delicious! From the appetizer to the dessert. Completely homemade, guaranteed. Excellent flavor combinations, cooking, presentation—nothing to criticize. The garden/terrace is just perfect when it's warm like today. A gentle babble of water flows from a fountain. The decor and ambiance are almost timeless, and it's magnificent.

29/04/2026: We ordered Goro's Selected Onion Soup and Burgundy Beef Stew, both were delicious 😋 and the staff were very friendly, splitting one portion into two for the two of us girls, which was just the right amount. The mojito sorbet for dessert was so good!
