22/08/2026: La Popote has practically become my go-to spot in Metz! The food is generous and delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the staff always welcoming and attentive. It's a truly authentic place, one I love to return to regularly. As a producer from Domaine des Varieux, I've also had the pleasure of delivering my salads to them. I'm particularly happy to see a Metz restaurant supporting local producers and showcasing fresh, locally grown produce. A wonderful place, as enjoyable for its staff as it is for its food, which I recommend without hesitation!

26/08/2026: We went there for my bday dinner. Its a small restaurant with a changing menu mostly small plates tapa style. Cold plates for summer. The tarama dip was amazing! I could eat it all day.

25/08/2026: Absolutely loved Le Jourdain. The French, Italian concept works beautifully, combining the best of both cuisines without feeling forced. The quality of the food was exceptional, everything we tried was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. The wine selection was also excellent, with genuinely good bottles at very reasonable prices for Paris, which was a great surprise. The atmosphere is warm, stylish and relaxed, making it the kind of place where you can easily spend the whole evening. From the food to the wine and the overall ambience, everything felt worth the price. A fantastic restaurant and definitely worth every penny. Would happily come back! Amazing place for a date as well!

16/08/2026: I took away an excellent and generous meal (with thoughtful touches), so I didn't get to experience the atmosphere, but the welcome was very good.

13/08/2026: Food was ok. Having eaten at many asian food establishments I was not blown away by the food on offer here. The portions were small, and they contained too much salt and not enough vegetables. Some dishes were better than others. The prawn dishes came as whole prawns with shells which was a bit strange and very messy to eat. Service was good.

18/08/2026: An app that counts calories in photos found this restaurant for me. This red berry and macaron dessert was light and delicious. The setting is pleasant and the service efficient.

18/08/2026: Excellent all-you-can-eat brunch. The buffets are generous and there's a wide variety of choices. It's the best brunch I've ever had.

31/07/2026: Awesome tasting menu with lobster & butter, great service. By mistake I broke my glass and hurt myself. They patiently cleaned the pieces and also gave me a bandaid for the cut i had on my leg

04/09/2026: Extremely unpleasant service. I had a very bad experience with a waitress who became particularly aggressive because I called her "Miss" instead of "Madam." I obviously had no intention of being disrespectful. I can perfectly understand that she prefers to be called "Madam." However, her tone and attitude were completely disproportionate and frankly unpleasant. A little courtesy would have been more than enough. It's a shame, because this attitude ruined our experience. I won't be returning to this establishment, which is a real pity because the crepes were excellent.

27/08/2026: A warm and attentive welcome. Two ladies are at the helm, taking care of you with genuine warmth and serving excellent crêpes. I ordered the "complète" (ham, egg, and cheese), as I often do; it was delicious and much less greasy than in some more upscale establishments. The cider was truly excellent, and the butter and sugar was just right. A very good place.

14/08/2026: We recently ate at Le Puits Saint-Jacques and, unfortunately, left quite disappointed. We knew the restaurant lost a Michelin star, and we can see why. The flavors lacked depth and, overall, there was nothing particularly memorable about the dishes. What disappointed us most was the reaction when we shared our thoughts with the chef at the end. If you ask your guests how they enjoyed the meal, you also have to be willing to hear honest feedback. A little more humility and openness would have made a big difference. The service also got off to a slow start. We waited about 25 minutes just to get water and our aperitifs. The sommelier also brought us the wrong bottle of wine. We noticed after he had opened it, and of course he changed it for the correct bottle, but it was another detail that added to the overall disappointment.

20/08/2026: We came for dinner after drinks with my friend. We were looking for somewhere to eat, but apart from kebabs and McDonald's, we didn't have any other options. So we walked through the door of Kashmir Delights. We were expecting just another Indian restaurant like everyone knows in Paris. Instead, we were in for a very pleasant surprise. We had a really good meal and the staff were very friendly. Go for it without hesitation!

30/08/2026: Recommended by our taxi driver upon leaving the airport, it's best to reserve a table at 20123; you'll receive a warm welcome! On the small terrace, enlivened by the conversations of the waiters and the chats of your neighbors with whom you'll quickly strike up a conversation, the half-open door allows you to enjoy the Corsican music played by two guitars. The interior is beautiful. Very friendly and welcoming, and of course, the food is excellent (local cuisine)! Tip: Don't have an afternoon snack or an aperitif before dinner. The portions are generous, just like at home, and you'd be frustrated (like me) if you couldn't finish your plate and didn't order dessert. Highly recommended! We'll be back!!
