14/06/2026: A wonderful getaway with my wife. The staff was fantastic. The room was tastefully decorated, the bedding incredibly comfortable, the spa bath delightful, and the terrace with its stunning Vercors views was simply superb. The restaurant was equally impressive: delicious, refined, beautifully presented dishes, some of which were quite surprising (like the grilled albacino). Special mention goes to the non-alcoholic menu, which included excellent cocktails and, more unusually, a good white wine. Breakfast featured superb products: pastries from a local bakery, homemade fruit salad, jams from the Vercors region, good bread, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheeses, local yogurts, fresh juices, and a great hot drinks machine. Absolutely delightful. The spa area was very pleasant, and the sauna and pool were much appreciated. Unfortunately, the hammam wasn't available, but that didn't spoil our stay. It just gives us a reason to come back. A sincere thank you to the massage therapists, who were professional, skilled, and very friendly. A truly blissful escape. In short, THANK YOU! 08/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and the rooms were comfortable for our seminar in March 2026. The owner, Alexandre, is very professional, attentive, and responsive. Most of the rooms have been renovated, are very comfortable, and very quiet! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back.

07/09/2026: 3 stars, but that's being generous and only because the shrimp weren't even heated properly on the hotplate! The cheap frozen steamed assortment wasn't good, and the wine wasn't good either. A starter, main course, and drink cost €27; for that price, you're better off going to the all-you-can-eat buffet, which was closed tonight. Luckily, when you go to Vietnam, the quality is incomparable, and the prices are half or even a third of what you'd pay.

04/09/2026: "Always flawless!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been to Palais d'Hanoï in Château-Renard several times and I'm never disappointed. It's another perfect experience! The welcome is always so warm and friendly; you immediately feel at ease. As for the food, it's a delight: authentic traditional cuisine with flavors that are a refreshing change from the usual fare. And what value for money! The portions are generous and very hearty; you really get your money's worth. It's rare to find a place that maintains such consistent quality. If you're looking for a good Asian restaurant in Château-Renard, don't hesitate: go for it without hesitation. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

19/08/2026: Delicious food (the squid ink pasta is a treat, the cheese selection is divine, and what can I say about the rum baba...). The waitresses are discreet, pleasant, smiling, and attentive. All this in a spacious yet discreet and peaceful courtyard... The best restaurant of our vacation, without a doubt!

05/09/2026: What can I say… Don't go to this restaurant under any circumstances. We arrived at 12:55 pm, and it was already incredibly noisy, with very little space to move around. But that's just a detail. We sat down, and then we learned that we were going to have to pay €5 for our 1-year-old! We thought, oh well, it's not a big deal as long as there are basic dishes like plain rice, pasta, etc., for the little one. But once we decided to go and get some food, it was a nightmare. The plates were empty, and what little was left was in such a state that it was unappetizing. Finally, after 30 minutes (to give them time to refill the plates), we decided to go see a staff member. They asked us what we wanted, and we said, "Well, anything goes, from grilled meat to sushi, etc." They told us that for that dish (for example, the Imperial Chicken, which happens sometimes), but for other dishes, when it's empty, it's empty, period. We still stayed for an hour and ended up eating nothing. The quality of the food was disgusting, truly tasteless. The desserts were the same, completely uninteresting. In the end, it cost €34.90 for two adults and a one-year-old who ate two grains of rice and a spoonful of yogurt. In short, out of all the all-you-can-eat buffets we've been to, we rank this one second to last (I won't even describe what the last one was like).

08/09/2026: This restaurant has a lovely rustic decor, but it doesn't reflect French cuisine at all. The ribeye steak was far too salty, like eating a spoonful of salt directly. The steak tartare was inedible, and the Burgundy snails were frozen—unbelievable, especially in this region. Not to mention we waited over an hour for our main course, only to leave without eating. Avoid at all costs.

11/08/2026: We had a lovely time as a family celebrating the end of our vacation. The view from the terrace was magnificent, especially watching the sunset. The food was very good, and the value for money was excellent. The staff were friendly.

10/08/2026: KEEP GOING. We came for dessert as a family and were asked to come back 30 minutes later (we waited and asked again). We returned after another thirty minutes and were simply told they were overwhelmed, there were no more free tables (even though six tables for four were empty), and they wouldn't have time to serve us dessert that evening.

12/08/2026: The staff is very rude to customers. One of the employees yelled at me for an order mistake. I had already heard similar accounts about this restaurant, and unfortunately, I can now confirm them. I do not recommend it.

14/08/2026: Arrived not fresh, full of maggots and mold; a goodwill gesture was made, but disgusting.

14/08/2026: This was our first visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We found maggots in our appetizers, which is completely unacceptable in an establishment that serves food. We obviously reported the problem to the staff. We were all the more surprised to see that the restaurant has a 4-star rating on Google. Our experience, in any case, does not at all reflect that rating. We hope that the establishment will take this problem very seriously and check its hygiene and food storage conditions.
