13/04/2026: A building dating back to the time of the thermal baths, close to the town center and public transport (bus, tram, and train). Micaud Park, bordering the river, is just 100 meters away. For those who enjoy gambling, there's a casino right outside. Presented as a luxurious residence, this senior living facility features a welcoming restaurant with late 19th-century comfort, open to all, and an original fireplace (1893).

27/09/2026: Very disappointed. As a regular customer, I frequent this restaurant with my family. However, the wait is far too long, over 30 minutes each time before we are seated, and sometimes dishes are even forgotten. The portions are inadequate at the checkout, and no compensation was offered despite our complaints. The plates weren't even cleared; they were piled on my table. When we were leaving, after paying, the man was waiting at the door with the tray and our hot food after a 40-minute wait. This is unacceptable.

26/09/2026: While not exceptional, the advantage is that it's an all-you-can-eat buffet, so you don't have to get up. The food is pretty good, but the quality is still an all-you-can-eat buffet. However, the downside is the dining area; I don't think the tables and floor are clean enough, and the decor is the same as it was from the beginning—nothing has changed.

19/09/2026: Reservation at 12:30...arrived at 12:26...it's 2:07 PM and we still haven't been served...this "restaurant"...never again!!!

06/09/2026: Another 13-euro smash without fries, you might say. True, but this one has a really good special sauce that makes all the difference. The fries on the side are also very good, so it's a winner.

06/09/2026: Very disappointing, definitely not worth the trip. We arrived with high expectations… and what a letdown right from the start: they were already out of fries by 9 pm. For a burger, that's a pretty bad start… they only serve two burgers and one fry… The burgers themselves left a very peculiar taste, with an extremely strong, unpleasant meat flavor. And as if that wasn't enough, we spent the evening with stomach aches after eating… it's hard not to question the freshness and hygiene. Comfort-wise, it's not much better: wobbly chairs, no footrest, a frankly uncomfortable setup where you don't feel at all comfortable. In short, a very disappointing experience from beginning to end. For the price and the reputation, we really expected something else. It's not worth a dime, keep walking.

03/09/2026: VERY DISAPPOINTING, A DISASTER-BEATEN PIZZA. I ordered a four-cheese pizza on September 8, 2026, and it was a disaster. It wasn't even 5 mm thick, toppings included, dripping with tomato sauce but with very little cheese, way overcooked, the edges were burnt, and the pizza wouldn't bend; it just broke. For 14 euros, they're really taking the mickey. I was told this pizzeria was very good, but this was a real letdown. I don't understand where all the rave reviews came from. My opinion is meant to be objective; if you really love pizza, go somewhere else.

28/09/2026: The welcome was perfect, the atmosphere was great, and the setting was perfect. However, the food needs improvement; the setting is so beautiful, so clean, so pleasant. It's a shame the food isn't up to par. At lunchtime today, there was barely 20 cl of oil on my plate, after I'd already drunk 15 cl.

26/09/2026: A truly beautiful establishment. The service was top-notch, with exceptional kindness and competence. Everything, from the dishes to the desserts, is homemade and absolutely delicious. Authentic French cuisine. Thank you!

10/09/2026: The setting is beautiful, we opted for the brunch menu, but there was far too much bread everywhere: baguettes, pastries, savory croissants, and for dessert, brioche or crepes. We were tired of eating bread. The dessert selection for the brunch menu needs to be reviewed.

09/09/2026: Angelina is Angelina a touring Mecca, a visit is a must ( so long as you are happy to pay €10 for hot chocolate or €13 for a piece of French toast)

28/08/2026: The food was absolutely delectable, especially for a vegetarian like me, with a variety of flavorful options. The well-balanced wine complemented the meal perfectly, and the experience concluded with a soothing cup of linden tea and a complimentary drink. It was such a relief to find a place still open at 10 pm, especially after arriving at 9:30 pm from Madrid. The outdoor seating in a quaint and picturesque square added to the overall charm. The servers were highly accommodating and hospitable, making the evening all the more delightful and relaxing. Mise à jour 2026. L'expérience était excellente comme toujours. Merci.

26/08/2026: After a bad experience at a neighboring restaurant, we decided to try La Table du Safran. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, especially the two waitresses who asked if everything was alright 👍 The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the wait was quick, and we enjoyed truly excellent mussels marinière, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Thank you to the chef who delighted us! 😝 I also noted the excellent value for money! We will definitely be back! You can go there without hesitation 😎

26/09/2026: This is the second time we've tried to eat there, and both times we haven't been able to get anything to eat! The waiter (who's acting like the chef) clearly doesn't want to lift a finger and is just spouting nonsense 🤣🤣🤣 He claims there are 15 people who have been waiting for their food for a while, but I only see maybe 6?!? And he won't serve us until the reservations (which will probably arrive in an hour) are served… so he doesn't even bother to take a drink order so we can decide if we want to wait. This guy just doesn't want to put in the effort… It's a shame for the owner, who is clearly putting his all into the kitchen, and he's the only one!

15/09/2026: Warm welcome and atmosphere, local beers. I wanted to stay all afternoon! Delicious goat cheese. Book ahead to avoid disappointment!
