10/04/2026: An exceptional stay! We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the staff were attentive and always available. The service was impeccable, with meticulous attention to detail, and the professionalism of the entire team was evident at every moment. We had an unforgettable time and highly recommend this establishment. We will gladly return! Thank you for everything!

09/04/2026: I was disappointed by my stay at the Jeu de Paume. A 5-star hotel can't afford to make mistakes, yet this establishment had several errors. There was a computer glitch during the booking process. So, I went to pay on arrival, two days before my stay, and took the opportunity to request the blue room. Upon arrival, we were given the pink room! We waited 10 minutes in the hallway while the hostess corrected the mistake. The kettle in the room was hidden in the cabinet under the TV, and only three tea bags of unknown brand were provided. We would have preferred herbal tea or tea from a reputable brand. There were no soaps to keep, and only one shower cap for two people. Breakfast was delicious, but the hostesses lacked a smile, and the sparkling water wasn't replenished once the bottle was empty. The spa was a lovely place, but the next morning at 7:15, we found the tissues and candy wrappers left behind the day before. In short, the Auberge du Jeu de Paume doesn't deserve 5 stars. The positive points are: the bedding, the sauna which is nice and hot, the breakfast items, and the hotel's location, but that's not enough!

23/05/2026: Excellent food takeaway was ready on time, quantities are large. One of only a few takeaways I use. Eating in fast and efficient service portions are not as big as the takeaway but still very good

20/05/2026: The service is very quick and polite. Food was delicious and came quickly and the atmosphere is incredible with then royal look inside with the style of the chairs and decor! It doesn’t look cheap, but it looks elegant.

03/11/2025: Honestly, this little pizzeria is really great, and their pizzas are just wonderfully good. Anyway, if you're ever in Gien, stop by because they don't just make pizzas; they also serve salads, burgers (I haven't tried them yet, they're not really my thing), and especially crepes. In short, I highly recommend it because, apart from kebabs and other fast food, there are some real gems for the same price.

06/06/2026: We came for an evening with friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was very good, in my opinion. However, we found the service particularly slow! It was fairly busy, but not excessively so. It's a shame... The waiters and waitresses were pleasant, though, which somewhat redeemed the experience.

17/05/2026: My wife and I spent four nights here and celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary. The experience was incredible starting with an amazing upgrade thanks to American Express travel! Our beautiful suite and private patio made it almost difficult to leave our room! We did leave and enjoyed an excellent and extensive breakfast buffet and amazing restaurants on premise. The 10 minute walk to the quaint town of Cassis was fun and convenient for great food and shopping. The staff went above and beyond to make certain we wanted for nothing. We WILL be back!

19/05/2026: We were there on a Monday evening, but the service was impeccable. The food, from appetizer to dessert, was perfect, very tasty, and the products were excellent. I highly recommend it.

09/03/2026: Everything was very good and very enjoyable in a beautiful setting! The only downside was that the jacuzzi couldn't get above 34.5 degrees...apparently the temperature difference with the outside prevented it from getting any hotter.

15/04/2026: I rarely use Google to leave reviews, but La Verrerie restaurant never disappoints me, whether for personal or business meals. It's always excellent value for money, in a superb setting right in the city center. I always go there with complete confidence because their vegetarian dishes are fantastic, thank you!

09/04/2026: We had a lovely stay here while searching for our wedding venue. The setting is truly beautiful – the views over the verrerie are stunning, and the grounds are peaceful and spacious. The outdoor areas are a real highlight, with a large pool, gazebo, and unique bamboo trees that add a special charm to the property. We also had dinner on-site, which was excellent. The chef adapts the menu seasonally, and the food felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The dining space is lovely, especially the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a generous buffet and a great mix of options, including hot items like freshly cooked eggs. There are 14 bedrooms on site, which are simple but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. That said, the rooms would really benefit from some updating and attention to detail. For example, many rooms have a shower separated only by a curtain rather than a proper door, and ours could have used a bit of paint touch-up and a deeper clean. Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a lot of potential. With some refurbishment and modernisation of the rooms, it would be truly exceptional.

15/05/2026: A very warm welcome awaits you at this tasteful establishment. The breakfast is very generous. Everything is homemade and delicious. The charming owner does the cooking. You can also have lunch or dinner. The dishes are delicious and also homemade. Everything is fresh, which is very pleasant. The room is spacious and very clean. The garden is lovely, perfect for relaxing on a sun lounger. The owner is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. She's the one who serves you. Always smiling and pleasant. Don't take advantage of her, though! They both have strong personalities. I'm really looking forward to seeing them again ♥️

06/02/2026: A very warm welcome and a perfect location, just a 3 or 4 minute walk from the narrow streets of the town center and the port: simply follow the pretty little stream. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and there's also a good restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't have the chance to try it.

09/05/2026: This has become our go-to spot with my friends; we love introducing this restaurant to others because the food is so good. We always order the same thing. I recommend the spicy lamb skewers, the salt and pepper lamb, and the spicy salt and pepper shrimp. (You can ask for it without chili and/or with less chili.) The mapo tofu is very good, as are the beans and ground beef.

06/05/2026: Both the taste and the speed of service are very professional. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is authentic, and the service is very friendly. It's become my go-to spot in Paris; the business is booming 🔥, and many repeat customers speak for themselves. I will definitely continue to patronize it.
