25/09/2026: Very disappointed, the portions are really small. We ordered three fish fritters as a starter, which we thought was meant to accompany our aperitif 😏. As for the main course, it was good, but the fish was tiny and there were hardly any vegetables.

19/09/2026: L’Avocette — Royan Located at 100 Boulevard de Lattre de Tassigny in Royan, L’Avocette offers refined cuisine in a contemporary setting. The non-alcoholic "Pomme d’Api" cocktail is subtle yet pleasant. The confit chicken gizzard fritters were excellent, and the duck leg was tender, melt-in-your-mouth, and served with a flavorful sauce. For dessert, the "light chocolate, raspberry, and almond crunch" beautifully showcases its two main flavors. The dishes are presented with particular care. The Escapade menu offers good value for money. The staff is polite, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant also boasts a large terrace, despite its location at a busy intersection. 31/07/2026: A very pleasant place offering delicious treats for all budgets. Their butterfly shortbread with chocolate tastes like childhood memories.

30/09/2026: Breakfast break at the establishment. Several hot and cold drinks are offered; we opted for a macchiato and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was very classic. The chocolate croissants were excellent, perfectly crisp; I recommend them. A good place for a quick break, with quite pleasant service. Decent value for money.

25/07/2025: A cozy spot on Mouffetard, offering a warm welcome, specialty coffees, and delicious homemade pastries. A relaxed atmosphere is ideal for a quality breakfast or coffee break.

27/08/2026: Thanks to the SNCF for the delays. We were able to discover this superb spot surrounded by nature, just a stone's throw from the station. The daily menu is perfectly balanced and prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The service is incredibly efficient. Well done!

04/10/2026: Excellent food! I discovered this place by chance while ordering takeout, and I had only one thought: to try it in person. What a great idea that was! The quality/price ratio is quite good; a bowl of pho is more than enough. Be careful to choose the size according to your appetite; if you want to try other specialties, the small one is already sufficient. The large one is for big eaters, so I don't even want to imagine how big the large one must be! The pork rice crepes are delicious, and the desserts at Padan (especially the "flan" type) are incredible! The memory of it makes my stomach tingle and my mouth water. A truly delicious place that I can't wait to return to!

04/10/2026: Lunch with colleagues: caramel pork with four large pieces of pork on the plate, covered in a thick layer of fat—how were we supposed to cut it without a knife and with chopsticks?!?!? It was swimming in a watery broth... When we got to the till, we split the bill by the number of people. The price was €17.90 per person. The woman at the register told us she'd round it up to €18 per person 😳 That's the first time I've ever seen that in a restaurant! We won't be going back.

18/08/2026: Disappointed twice by the service and prices, once for an afternoon snack and once for lunch. Lack of organization, lack of friendliness, and prices far too high for what you get on your plate. €5 for a mini Liège waffle that looks mass-produced, crepes swimming in grease and seem reheated, €5 for a mini Italian ice cream sold as a double—it's beyond ridiculous... And a "mouclade au curry" isn't just a pot of mussels with curry sauce (photo attached)... A huge disappointment.

22/09/2026: Risky exploration of the menu: - Squid risotto: a lot of rice for maybe 50 grams of squid and chunks of chorizo ​​that set the palate on fire. Is it good? Hold the 🔥 - Ravioli from Romans: probably a portion of ravioli drowned in an avalanche of vegetables and beans swimming in lukewarm liquid, and the taste buds are still wondering where this improbable invention came from? No miracle with two glasses of wine, obviously. Cost of ingredients/price: 1/61. Quality/price: 1/61 euros. Friendly welcome, but that wasn't the purpose of the visit. Not sure the person in charge of the kitchen is responsible; "no one is obligated to do the impossible."

20/09/2026: I usually go to this restaurant, but generally in the evening and on weekdays. I went there yesterday at lunchtime (a Saturday), and while the food was still excellent, the extremely slow service ruined the experience. I won't be going back. A simple apology or a small gesture would have made the experience less unpleasant.

That would be extraordinary, wonderful, and amazing! ❤️ Thank you to Boubacar and Marion, and to Aïcha and Tchieir, the managers, who are always there for the customers and welcome them with a smile and excellent service. It makes you want to come back. Thank you to them for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and motivation. They deserve to be rewarded for their work; they are so deserving. I highly recommend it. The food is fresh and delicious. (Special mention to the cooks—they are the best! 10/10, nothing to say, they are the best, they are champions! Thank you to them too!)
