I based myself on the comments before returning.
I really felt good from the beginning to the end of my meal. A lively and warm welcome, a pleasant and well decorated restaurant. I chose the daily menu for €21. I ate a starter and dessert. I enjoyed myself!
We almost want to keep this address to ourselves. But you can go there with your eyes closed. I recommend!

28/09/2024: Thought this place would be really special. Vacant upstairs and a note on the door to call a number to be let in to a downstairs bar. Very cool.
Let in by a nice proprietor but downstairs the bartender (blonde lady) was not only rude but completely dismissive. She didn’t even acknowledge our presence when we addressed her with a polite “Bonjour!”
After about ten minutes of being completely ignored, we took off.
Incredibly bad service.
The lady upstairs, on our way out, seemed to acknowledge that the other woman was rude but made no attempt to accommodate us otherwise.
All in all a very odd experience.
16/09/2024: We enjoyed a bottle of red in the ambient basement cave with a delicious charcuterie board. Alex was very kind, conversational and most helpful in selecting a perfect wine for the occasion.

24/09/2024: We visited Au Petit Marché for lunch during a stop in Toulon and it was wonderful. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating and the food was excellent. We were very well looked after and I'd highly recommend!

01/09/2024: A journey of the senses guaranteed. I 200% recommend Le Pily, a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant. The service is quality and the staff are very smiling and attentive. The sommelier's suggestions were adapted and perfectly matched the taste and elegance of the dishes presented. Very good time spent with family :)

The service was perfect, the manager has an eye everywhere and is very professional

30/08/2024: Came for lunch this afternoon, starter carpaccio of tomato parmesan and main course saithe with seasonal vegetables. It's very well cooked, very tasty and reasonably priced. The service is very friendly and efficient. In addition to the Amos on tap :-) In short, I recommend it and will come back with pleasure.

22/09/2024: Saturday night was full of patrons chatting and enjoying the excellent food. We were early walk-ups, so we were thankfully given a table outside (reservations essential). Fabulous food @ €39 for a three course set menu with 5-6 choices for each course. It's worth a Michelin Star.

Pleasant and comfortable setting, with these wall frescoes, a real journey to Armenia with its worthy representative Charles Aznavour.....and the pleasure of taste, of the variety of mezes...a menu chosen "a thousand and one nights" which we will bring back.
