03/06/2026: We ordered exclusively from the fish dishes offered in the set menu, and they were excellent. The wine prices were a bit high, and the Spritz aperitif was practically alcohol-free.

18/05/2026: An excellent kebab; honestly, everything was perfect. The welcome and service were great; very clean. It's a good idea to have draft beers (especially Karmeliet) in a kebab shop; it's quite rare. The kebab was fantastic, and the fries were very good. The vegetables were tasty, and the meat was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed it on my second visit. I'll gladly come back!

10/05/2026: My review isn't about the quality of the galettes and crêpes (both were delicious), but about the reception I received one evening when I arrived 5 minutes before closing time! The woman there said loudly, "Well, people are late coming to get their galettes today! I'm closing in 3 minutes!" I was so exasperated and shocked that I left without buying anything! And I'll never go back if that's the kind of comment I'll get! I used to be a regular customer!

02/05/2026: The staff were friendly, but the bar was noisy. Customers were talking loudly on video calls, watching videos on video calls, etc., plus there was music playing in the bar. We left with everyone's problems, which isn't normal; a little respect would be appreciated. People could be told to use headphones to watch videos and not to use their phones on video calls. We're all customers.

10/12/2025: Hello, we had a nice meal for two: a pizza, a walnut and honey risotto, and a glass of Chardonnay. The waitress asked me for a small glass of Chardonnay or a large one. Stupidly, I replied, "A large glass." Imagine my surprise when it came time to pay! 14 euros for a glass of wine! Yes, you read that right!! 14 euros 😱

04/05/2026: Flamma Stuwa is a small, cozy tarte flambée restaurant, somewhat hidden away in a residential area. The service is very friendly, the menu clear and concise, offering both savory and sweet tarte flambée at truly fair prices. The tarte flambées were thin and tasty in themselves, but every single one, including those at neighboring tables, had a massive black crust (as you can see in the photos here). This is a) unusual for tarte flambée in Alsace (I'm a frequent visitor to Alsace) and b) really unhealthy. I know it's a small family business, but either the oven is incorrectly set, because the center of the tarte flambée wasn't perfectly crispy despite the black crust, or there's another reason. I hope this review helps improve the baking process. I would have liked to give the food 3.5 stars, but unfortunately, that's not possible.

28/03/2026: Passing through Deauville this morning, we were tempted by the shop window, so we went in and bought two vol-au-vents and a slice of rillettes. Given the prices, we trusted the quality, but the rillettes were greasy and tasteless, and the vol-au-vents tasted of nothing but puff pastry and sauce. So, very disappointed to have spent money on such mediocre quality. A tourist trap.
