18/05/2026: For a change from Nantes, about which Barbara sang of the rain, it was raining in Amiens when we went… and it was this rain that, in a way, allowed us, while we were disappointed not to be able to go out on a boat in the floating gardens, to have a wonderful encounter and a truly excellent lunch! The way the andouillette was mentioned on the menu, which we glanced at in passing, hinted at great things to come, and we weren't disappointed, quite the opposite! First, the welcome: quick and friendly. Then the glasses, filled with helpful advice, surprise, and generosity. Finally, the food: a blend of tradition and modernity, showcasing the chef's mastery (ah, that spring andouillette…) and encouraging emerging talent (ah, that strawberry-rhubarb crumble, ah, that sabayon playfully tucked into a delectable, reimagined dish). It was a moment of generosity and sharing, of conversation and discovery (OMG, that wine cellar and that liquor cart...). I left enriched with wonderful memories, with the intention of returning!

13/05/2026: Passing through Amiens, I stopped for lunch today with my wife. The woman managing the dining room was very haughty, confusing the waiters and seeming completely out of her depth. It ruined the atmosphere. The food was quite good, but there's no way I'll be going back if it means witnessing so much violence. The prices are also excessive.

25/11/2025: Hello, upon arrival, the waiter seated us and then left us for over 15 minutes. He returned and said, "Ah, you haven't looked at the menu yet" (which was hidden in a book). Should he have told us?! We asked him a few questions about the very limited menu: four starters, one of which was missing, one main course from the daily special, and two à la carte options. The waiter responded in a very rude tone, seemingly annoyed at having to explain the concept. He brought us a flat, acidic white wine, which he half-spilled on the table, maintaining his haughty and inappropriate attitude. We asked for a replacement glass. Fortunately, the food was good, if not exceptional (the terrine and pork tenderloin were unremarkable, the rich jus a bit too spicy, even though I usually love it), but the cooking was precise, the flavor combinations interesting, and the dessert excellent. But honestly, the service was appalling, unprofessional, and disrespectful. If it hadn't been a Monday, I would have left immediately! Even when it came to paying the bill, my partner, being Italian, could have spent over €50 directly without going into the card reader. The waiter, in a sneering tone, said, "Well, yes, you have to insert it." It's an old-fashioned model... I think if I were a man with a temper, I would have punched him in the face... Shameful... First and last time!

13/05/2026: We stayed here during a long cycling tour (UK-France-Germany-Switzerland). Friendly staff, very nice room, and good breakfast. We didn't have dinner here, so I can't comment on that. The bike garage is a bit small if there are many cyclists staying overnight. However, the bikes can certainly be stored outside. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the famous Bénouville bridge and less than 10 km from Ouistreham.

01/03/2026: An exceptional experience: we spent two nights at the hotel, dined at the Klima restaurant, and tasted the house wines, with excellent recommendations from the passionate young sommelier. The welcome was both professional and warm from the entire team, starting with Olivier, his daughter, and Patrick Leflaive themselves. At Leflaive, the concern for the well-being of guests is truly shared by all employees. The team, very young both in the dining room and the kitchen, the chef who came to greet us, all delightful and attentive, ensured we had two remarkable dinners. A vineyard tour with the young and very professional Sophie, assisted by a sommelier, recommendations for visits from colleagues by the reception team and maître d'hôtel, and a personalized tour of the cellar by Patrick Leflaive. A truly exceptional experience. Top-notch rooms and perfect meals, worthy of a Michelin star. What more can I say? Simply pure bliss... to be shared.

15/02/2026: A superb hotel, a haven of peace, a cozy retreat with a family atmosphere. Sophie welcomed us with a warm smile and pampered us throughout our stay. And the restaurant? What can I say? A truly wonderful experience: gastronomic, wine-related, and personal. Amandine is an exceptional sommelier, the service is top-notch, and the dining atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A must-try!

30/05/2026: We would like to thank Jean-Philippe, the innkeeper, and his entire team for the warm welcome we received throughout our stay. A special thank you to Léa, Raphaël, and the waitress who served us at breakfast, whose name we regret not catching. Their kindness, helpfulness, and good humor made our stay very enjoyable. We were pampered from beginning to end, and our dog certainly wouldn't disagree! He also received a lot of attention, especially from the delicious Bress chicken. We highly recommend this inn, even for a short stay. You sleep well, the food is good, and above all, you'll find a friendly, attentive, and pleasant staff in all circumstances. 16/11/2025: If there's one restaurant where I love to eat pasta, it's this one!! I've never been disappointed, whether I order takeout or eat in. The value for money is amazing! The portions are perfect, and the staff is lovely. You can even watch the chef prepare your dish. ;) I recommend it 100%!!! 😇

07/03/2026: A very warm welcome awaits you at this restaurant. The menu is limited, but that's a good thing. It guarantees you'll be eating fresh food. The meat was excellent. One minor complaint: the fries were overcooked and not at all crispy.

04/04/2026: The chicken was so juicy. The portions were large and the fries were crispy. Therefore we decided to come back to do cheese fondue, which was creamy and smooth. As we don’t eat pork we got vegetables and potatoes. We enjoyed both times having lunch here. The service is very friendly and easy going. The guy serving us has such a positive energy. The lady serving us is a bit stressed and running around which makes she is not fully listening, but she made us feel comfortable welcome and checking in with us regularly. The restaurant itself is really authentic and and nicely decorated. The terrace is in the full sun. It is a pleasure to visit this restaurant.
