19/08/2026: What a fantastic discovery! Le Grand Bleu is definitely one of the best restaurants we've visited in Calais. From the very first minute, everything was perfect: a beautiful ambiance, a warm welcome, incredibly friendly and attentive service, and of course, cuisine that truly delights. The dishes are not only beautifully presented, but their flavors are on a completely different level. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfectly balanced aromas, and creative cuisine that still manages to be pleasantly down-to-earth. Every course was a real experience – you can immediately tell that the food is cooked with passion and skill. We were particularly impressed that, despite the sophisticated cuisine, the atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed and not at all stuffy. This combination is precisely what makes the visit so special. For us, it's a clear 5-star recommendation and a must-visit in Calais! ❤️ Anyone who enjoys truly excellent food should absolutely not miss this restaurant. 24/05/2026: Very fragrant Moroccan salads. The preserved lemon tagine had an excellent sauce. The chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Top-notch. The tea was like the comforting Moroccan teas, but they would add the teapot service for the charm of pouring the tea from above into a small glass. I don't recommend the desserts. They're too expensive and didn't seem homemade. Besides, the main course is quite substantial. Ask for the bread, served warm, to fully enjoy the sauce. 😁

02/09/2026: Personally, I absolutely love the truffle pasta here. It has that unique chewy texture of fresh pasta. The sauce is rich and thick, and the seasoning suits Korean tastes. However, the portion size varies quite a bit every time I go; it's random. The lasagna was too sweet for my taste.. The wood-fired pizza was also satisfying as it tasted similar to what I ate in Italy. While not exceptionally delicious, it feels like every dish is at least average. It is a trustworthy Italian restaurant. The restaurant is spacious, and it is interesting that the atmosphere differs in each section.

01/09/2026: My son invited me to lunch at Libertino on Sunday, and it was a real revelation! It couldn't be simpler: the Bolognese was perfect, with pasta and a ragù that were absolutely delicious. And to finish, a very good strawberry tiramisu. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Unfortunately, we were seated a bit at the back of the restaurant, which was the only slight drawback. But, in the end, everything was perfect. A wonderful discovery. I'll definitely be back!

The fish is melt-in-your-mouth tender, the rice perfectly seasoned, and the presentation is exquisite. The service is quick, friendly, and efficient, whether you're dining in or ordering takeout. A wide selection on the menu with unbeatable value for money in the Strasbourg area. I highly recommend Sushi House to all Japanese food lovers!

The service at Sushi House is always quick and friendly, whether you're ordering takeout or dining in. I highly recommend it for a great lunch break or dinner!

12/07/2026: Make a reservation for this delightful experience! 'La Doubs' itself is worth a visit if you're boating the Saone but this restaurant was the highlight of our stop. We were lucky enough to get seated on a Friday evening and had great service (and entertainment!) from Robert and his team. I ordered the Pochouse, which was out of this world. We shared frog legs (excellent) and the crawfish flan (not my fave, but others loved it). Great wine selection and the locally (very local) made whiskey mixes are absolutely worth a try. We regretted not buying a bottle! Thank you Le Caveau team!

11/07/2026: I feel honored and lucky to have docked our boat in Verdun-sur-le-Doubs, otherwise we would have never found Le Caveau! Robert and his staff clearly understand the power of family & food. When you arrive you’re greeted as if you dinning there weekly for years. As you open the menu they share which farms all their meats, cheeses and vegetables are sourced from. The menu is thoughtful, fun and sophisticated and has something for everyone, including vegetarians. The meal was a journey of classic French cooking with some fun twists on modern styles. All four of us could not stop bragging how good our dishes were. Now for the best part of our experience. Robert and his staff make you feel like family, creating laughter, smiles, full bellies and memories. They truly love what they do, and make everyone feel like their home. Merci, Merci, Merci!! Le Caveau is a must visit if you’re in the area!

22/08/2026: Simply perfect. This inn, nestled high up at the end of a small road/path, is simply magnificent. The menu is small, serving only homemade dishes! Delicious! A playroom for children adjoining the dining room is a very good idea! Thank you for this evening! Everything was perfect!

12/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in the heart of Strasbourg. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we had a delightful time enjoying delicious food. Each dish is a true visual and gustatory triumph. We particularly appreciated the perfectly cooked meat, served on a wooden board, which was wonderfully tender and generously portioned. The presentation is exquisite, as evidenced by the small dots of dark sauce precisely placed on the plates. We will gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

11/08/2026: The meats were excellent. It's a shame there was no air conditioning, and please specify the ingredients of the original sauces next time, as the blueberry sauce contained fennel, so I had to pay extra for a different one. Otherwise, the service was top-notch.
