01/06/2026: I ordered a chocolate fondant that wasn't at all melt-in-your-mouth; it was rock hard. The teapot and cup weren't very clean. The service was good despite them forgetting the bottle of water.

02/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery on Rue Campagne-Première! The setting is truly pleasant and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the dish served in its terracotta dish. The flavors were perfectly enhanced by a touch of parsley and garlic and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful time. We will gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

05/05/2026: Good value for money, the waiter is friendly! There isn't a huge selection on the menu, mostly pork dishes! Since my husband doesn't eat pork, that's a shame, and I don't think the seating is very comfortable; the furniture is old and should be replaced to make it more comfortable. We were also cold while eating! The dishes are very well presented, homemade, and very good; we'll definitely go back! 😉👍

12/05/2026: I don't understand. It was evening. I was very well dressed for a romantic dinner. There was a table of eight young women, and a few other tables of all ages. All the women (and only the women, not the men) in the restaurant were offered a complimentary glass of champagne that day as an aperitif. (It seemed to be the manager, judging by his manner.) They were all blonde, almost like the person I was with. But not me; they asked me what I wanted to drink when I ordered! Was it a stereotype related to my skin color? I wish I had known. It offended me and made me uncomfortable; I wanted to leave, but at the time we thought it might have been an oversight. We hesitated, knowing that we were served last, even though we were the first to arrive. But it clearly didn't seem that way, judging by the unfriendly service, etc., as if he didn't want to serve me, while all the other young women were greeted with humor and a smile. I'd never experienced anything like it. That says it all!

17/05/2026: I've been coming to Nice every year for the past 10 years, and my ritual is morning, noon, and night at La Civette du Cours, an institution. I arrived yesterday, so I went there for an aperitif. Total disappointment. I encountered an unfriendly, unsmiling waitress, and the service was nothing like what I'm used to, all accompanied by deafening music (no need for such loud music here) to fully experience the atmosphere of the Cours... We went to pay at the counter because after asking this employee for the bill... nothing... The staff at the register weren't very customer-oriented either. Our waitress took our money without a smile (miss, she should find another job). This is the first time I've come without leaving a tip; what a disappointment to see this establishment become like this. I used to be a regular every year.

22/06/2026: I had a shredded beef roll with shakshuka mushroom sauce and dauphinoise potatoes with a burger. My wife had a marinated escalope roll, a bit more classic, let's say, also with a burger, and we really enjoyed it. It was delicious; everything is homemade, and you can really taste it. The recipes are very original; it's a nice change from a traditional industrial taco, so it's a bit cheaper, certainly, but clearly not as good. Regarding the service, kudos to you for managing such a busy service on your own. That evening, there were perhaps 15 orders to fulfill, and our wait time was about 20 minutes. So, having a professional is a pleasure. Thank you again, and see you soon, God willing.

20/06/2026: Fantastic experience at L’Authentik! I came with my little brother today and it was truly excellent. Very tasty, generous portions, and a super friendly welcome. I highly recommend it.

28/06/2026: If you want to see a team of young, non-professional players, by all means, go there. When there's a problem, they say, "Sorry, our equipment isn't working, but there's no solution..." In the end, I figured out how to get my loyalty card to work at the kiosk myself, without anyone's help, because nobody cares! The air conditioning in the restaurant is way too cold. AND ABOVE ALL, THEY DON'T ACCEPT CONNECT HOLIDAY VOUCHERS! A SHAME FOR A BRAND LIKE MCDONALD'S!!! If I understand correctly, we're dealing with a franchisee who prefers to line their own pockets, or else the holiday vouchers must be creating an additional cost for them... YET IN THE CITY OF ROYAN, IT'S A FRANCHISEE AND THEY DO ACCEPT CONNECT HOLIDAY VOUCHERS 🙃 AND AS USUAL, THE OWNER'S CLASSIC RESPONSE WITH APOLOGIES: THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME, WE APOLOGIZE, BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!

14/06/2026: Ordered 3 espressos and 3 donuts on a Sunday morning at 10:15. Three people behind the counter were too busy throwing away boxes to come to the counter to take my order. Then it took 15-20 minutes to be served, even though the restaurant was almost empty. No apology. Everything was normal.

06/06/2026: All-you-can-eat restaurant, but all-you-can-eat for what? We arrived at 12:30 PM, were seated without any choice, and immediately asked to pay (drinks not included). When it came time to serve ourselves, I saw EMPTY PLATES. Empty trays, for the entire hour and a half I spent there with my family hoping they would be replenished at some point, but no, they stayed like that... Sushi, if you can even call it that, because one piece of tuna in the middle of a wrap (yes, a wrap!) I doubt it was sushi... I then tried a wok dish, which was ready in 2 minutes, so obviously completely RAW and bland, which I couldn't eat. I ordered fried food, dry and hard because it was just leftovers, no shrimp skewers as advertised, nor baked salmon... All that was left were the labels! The desserts, empty Tiramisu, empty lemon tart, no Daim cake, not today the waitress tells me... In short, I do not recommend at all, because leaving an all-you-can-eat restaurant hungry is abnormal and having paid from the beginning there is no way to defend yourself.

10/06/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant with my father for our anniversary. The service was impeccable, the head waiter was very friendly, and the sommelier offered excellent recommendations. We opted for the seven-course tasting menu, and each dish was a culinary journey. Having dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, I believe this one is far superior to a single star and could easily deserve a second. Thank you so much for this excellent experience. We visited in October!

21/05/2026: Wow, the food was amazing. The service is best in class. What is not to love? We had a small room overlooking the golf course, what could be better? My fish was perfect, cheese course was absolutely delicious. The rose wine suggested was a lovely match. This was a memorable dining experience.
