30/08/2026: Located just steps from the Belle Roche guesthouses (near Mâcon and Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche), this restaurant seems to have preserved the soul and atmosphere of beautiful old houses. Here, there's no endless menu: a single daily special, prepared with simplicity, generosity, and passion. The welcome is warm, the cuisine authentic, and the dishes simply delicious. It's the kind of rare place where you rediscover the taste of real things, the pleasure of unpretentious cooking, and that conviviality that is so comforting. Restaurants like this deserve to be encouraged and preserved. They embody true expertise and a certain vision of gastronomy, based on simplicity, quality, and sharing. A truly wonderful discovery that I highly recommend to those who appreciate authentic places and good restaurants with a soul.

05/08/2026: The owner is extremely unfriendly. The saleswomen don't even say hello when you come in, they're too busy chatting amongst themselves. A good reputation for bad staff and bad management.

03/10/2026: We arrived at 12:50 pm... our order wasn't taken until 1:20 pm! Poor organization, understaffed, and with only two rooms, they didn't even bother to separate families with children from one side. The result: an infernal racket of screaming kids... a very unpleasant and very long meal! My sundae arrived melted... in short, we don't recommend it and we won't be going back.

03/10/2026: Honestly, the Buffalo Grill in Auxerre isn't the same as it used to be. Many things have been neglected, and the service is no longer up to the standards it once was. Especially when the meat sauces arrive for dessert 🤦 Personally, I wouldn't recommend the Buffalo Grill in Auxerre, sorry.

12/10/2026: The cashier was incredibly rude and already overwhelmed at 12:03 PM. She called her colleague, who told her to come to the register immediately! I ordered a savory crepe at 12:05 PM. The crepe was ready-made (from a supermarket), but it wasn't even cooked fresh; the edges were completely dry. The young man (who seemed nice enough but clearly annoyed) heated it on a broken griddle, causing the crepe to stick and break. The salad had no dressing, and I had to go back to the entrance to get more sauce. The fries were frozen solid, so I had to throw everything away and ask for more! It's getting worse and worse. 36 euros is starting to be ridiculous, especially since I had to throw everything away.

11/10/2026: We came for the "tenders" evening. Honestly, I'm very disappointed with Flunch. The sauces they offered were behind the counter in the deli section. We had to serve ourselves, which is absolutely unhygienic and unprofessional. And a whole bunch of sauces that were advertised on the website were missing. What also bothered me was the tiny all-you-can-eat buffet compared to what it used to be. Plus, the dishes looked like they'd been sitting there for hours and gave the impression of being abandoned when there weren't many people in the restaurant. It's clear that they only put in minimal effort during peak hours. During off-peak hours, customers are treated like idiots and therefore don't come back. Which isn't very smart from a marketing perspective. The toilets (which I never even used) stink. There's a leak in the ceiling. No, really, avoid this place. They're short-staffed, and as a result, the quality, hygiene, and quantity are lacking. The only positive thing is the interior decor with its subdued ambiance. And I'm not trying to criticize Flunch. I was delighted to go back after years. What's frustrating is that the idea is good. But the details aren't there. Clean the restrooms. Hire more staff. Improve hygiene. Give the buffet the same consideration during off-peak hours as during peak hours, and we'd be all set! Yes, there will be losses at first because there won't be many customers. But at least people will come back because the food will be good and hot! It was a huge mistake to put money only into the website design and enticing offers! The disappointment is all the greater. Hire people!! Even if it means losing money! Because it's your last resort before you close for good.

24/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! The dishes are absolutely delicious, generous, and refined. Everything is perfectly prepared, with great taste and finesse. I truly loved this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and for its beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. A truly lovely experience, with flavorful cuisine and very generous portions. 😍 I highly recommend L’Embarcadère and I will definitely return! ❤️

21/09/2026: I really enjoyed the starters. The main course was average: not much flavor and too much sauce. The desserts were so-so: the pizza crust was completely dry – a shame. The flan was good but still frozen in the center – also a shame. The staff was friendly. I went back a second time. The charcuterie board was good and plentiful. The main courses were good. The flan was good.

30/08/2026: Only one main course. -> But it was masterful. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was an unbelievable crowd in front of the restaurant. A long line quickly formed. But, despite the rain, we had a fantastic time. It couldn't have been more international – half the world was represented. And there was lots of laughter and friendly chatting while we waited. The usher stood outside in the rain with us and was still very kind and friendly. The atmosphere in and around the restaurant was relaxed and friendly. He did a really good job. The meat was prepared masterfully. There were four of us, and everyone wanted their meat cooked differently: rare, medium-rare, medium, and well-done. And we actually got it exactly that way. A perfect result! Thank you for the great food, the wonderful ambiance, and the very relaxed atmosphere where we could enjoy our meal without any worries. A big thank you to the whole team!

29/08/2026: Excellent entrecote, friendly and efficient staff. They only serve their famous entrecote with their special sauce, but it's delicious. Highly recommended in Nantes; reservations are advisable.

23/08/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. As big fans of Italian food, we found ourselves in the wrong place one day. We were extremely well received, and I want to emphasize that, however, the food was a complete letdown. The dishes were very greasy and completely tasteless, easily recreated at home. The salmon pasta was so bad you had to search for the salmon, and the lasagna was initially served frozen solid, then so hot that it took fifteen minutes before we could even taste it. This resulted in a complete disaster, as the taste was so nauseating. Unfortunately, just because you serve pasta dishes doesn't mean you can call yourself an Italian restaurant. We won't be returning and we strongly advise against going there.

28/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the hotel while attending a wedding. Surprisingly, the room was spacious, pleasant, and nicely refreshed for a 2-star hotel. Having booked for the wedding, we were expecting a slightly less luxurious room, but it was actually comfortable and pleasant. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of enjoying the chef's meal, so carefully prepared with exquisite local ingredients. We truly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place, even if you're only staying for a day. Don't forget to try the restaurant. A big thank you to all the staff; we will never forget our stay in Burgundy.

12/05/2026: A very good restaurant. The menu isn't huge (a sign of quality and freshness), there's a good selection of wines at reasonable prices, the setting is lovely, and the service is attentive. This was our second visit, and we will definitely return.
