24/09/2026: A fantastic restaurant for a delicious break in Vichy. We had a wonderful time; both the food and drinks were excellent. And the desserts were generous! The staff was very friendly, and the view was lovely. A wonderful place that I highly recommend!

02/08/2026: Excellent brasserie with a wide selection of beers and varied dishes. The manager, Marie, is very professional. They often host concerts, and we went this past Friday evening where there was a very talented rock and roll duo (Two Bags).

17/07/2026: The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and offered great advice on the menu. The portions were generous, and the wine (Lalande de Pomerol) was excellent. We were just passing through; it was my birthday, and I was delighted to celebrate there. I highly recommend it; it was a pleasure. Thank you, and all the best. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.

13/05/2026: We stayed here during a long cycling tour (UK-France-Germany-Switzerland). A good and reasonably priced hotel. The price and quality are well-matched. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is generally good. It's a shame the plate of pasta wasn't hot as advertised, and therefore neither were the noodles on top. ;-)

10/10/2026: Excellent traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The dining room is beautifully decorated and peaceful. The owner is very kind and there's hardly any wait, so it's perfect. Always a pleasure to come here!

17/09/2026: We had lunch there and chose the €12 set menu. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The spring rolls were delicious, definitely homemade! The chicken curry was excellent. Everything was very good. The service was quick and the waitress was very friendly. The terrace is also quiet and shaded. It was a wonderful discovery. At that price, we weren't expecting such a good meal! I highly recommend it! My husband is still talking about the spring rolls! We'll have to come back!

11/10/2026: Today at the Beaumont le Roger Gastronomy Festival, we encountered these completely dishonest people: they offered us a tasting of hot apple juice, which we accepted (without specifying anything, and there were no labels either), and at the end they told us it was chargeable! They should have told us BEFOREHAND!!!! A very unpleasant experience of being taken for a fool.

08/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival and the kitchen being closed. Everything was restarted for the four of us – that's what service is all about. We had a very good dinner.

10/10/2026: First REVIEW ever! I've never seen such a filthy place. The smell of rotting meat wafted through the restaurant. The food wasn't fresh. Four of us ate there, and three of us suffered from food poisoning for several days. A truly dark place, avoid it at all costs. BRING BACK THE HEALTH INSPECTORS, PLEASE!!!

An excellent experience at Bistrot la Place, in a charming setting on a lovely, tree-lined Parisian square, with a particularly pleasant terrace. The welcome is warm and the waiter is truly friendly, smiling, attentive, and very caring. As for the food, a delightful discovery! Homemade, generous, flavorful cuisine, prepared with care using fresh ingredients. The dishes are beautifully presented, colorful, and appetizing. Special mention goes to the freshness of the salads, the grilled vegetables, the flavor combinations, and the perfectly golden and crispy puff pastries. You can feel the genuine attention paid to the quality of the dishes, unpretentious yet full of flavor. The setting is also a real asset: a peaceful terrace, typically Parisian decor, and a convivial atmosphere where you'll enjoy lingering. An authentic place, generous cuisine, and impeccable service. I highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return! A well-deserved five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

23/09/2026: The staff seem to be just waiting for closing time. They talk loudly in front of customers and you hear them say you can't use the restroom without paying. A truly unwelcoming and unprofessional attitude. Avoid this place! You're better off having a picnic by the lake: at least you'll enjoy some peace and quiet.
