01/07/2026: Avoid ordering the €38 octopus served with potatoes; you'll only get one octopus for €38. My partner ordered the steak tartare with fries and salad, but we didn't see the salad, and the fries were like McDonald's fries—best eaten hot. The gourmet coffee was good, and the waitresses were very pleasant. The setting is nice.

01/07/2026: I ordered octopus and potatoes, but I received potatoes and octopus, 1 tentacle, and a bag of potatoes. For €40, I expected at least three pieces of octopus. I also had to pay €40 for a buffalo mozzarella with two tomatoes, no comment... The prices for the drinks were too high, too.

22/05/2026: Very disappointed Very bad experience I ordered the set menu. For starters, a 5cm x 5cm piece of country pâté with two lettuce leaves and a quarter of a tomato, followed by four pieces of grilled meat (a chorizo ​​like on a children's menu, two chicken tenders where you had to find the meat, the same for the marinated pork where I had to gnaw on the bone), served with regular fries, all for 22 euros. I strongly advise against it 👎

11/05/2026: Bad experience. "Les Vieux Garçons" was full, so we ended up going to your place. Luckily, the student who served us had a sense of humor. The starter was quick, but we waited an hour and a half for a cold main course, and the hot dish arrived cold and we had to send it back without any explanation from management or any gesture of goodwill! What a shame.

27/06/2026: The setting is magical: an old mill, a river, a terrace overlooking the garden, a spacious room with a fireplace where the tables are well-spaced. The service is extraordinary. We were greeted by a charming person who personally attended to us. I've been there three or four times. But the food doesn't live up to the setting and the service! A huge disappointment the last two times. What a shame! With a talented chef and a proper kitchen team, this restaurant would be a huge success!

23/06/2026: Extremely disappointed with this restaurant! The value for money is appalling; the starters were very mediocre with no presentation whatsoever, the sea bass was inedible, and had a very suspicious taste! We had to send the order back to the kitchen to get the desserts we had ordered, but they were just as bad: sticky rice pudding, dripping whipped cream, no presentation, and the rhubarb was completely undercooked. A disappointment from beginning to end! We do not commend the chef and will certainly not recommend this restaurant. At this price, everything needs to be reviewed!

06/05/2026: Highly recommended for its peaceful and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner. As a vegetarian, they were very accommodating to my dietary needs. The staff were friendly and attentive. Reasonable prices. We've dined here several times, and even celebrated a birthday there. We'll definitely be back.

16/06/2026: We had a delicious lunch here. Very friendly service. I can definitely recommend the vegetarian lunch. We also had a tea-based soft drink, which was also very tasty and not overly sweet.

11/11/2025: Delicious! Friendly and kid-friendly atmosphere. Smiling and responsive staff. The portions were HUGE and DELICIOUS, with a lot of thought put into balancing the tastes and flavors. Starters, main courses, desserts—all top-notch! Even the KIDS Fish & Chips was very good, with REAL HOMEMADE fries!!!

29/10/2025: The starter was excellent, the main course very good, but I was disappointed by the dessert... in a €40 menu, it's a shame because the service was good and friendly, but the presentation of the dessert was lacking; a pile placed in the middle of the plate. It tasted good, but there was no presentation or decoration; we're still looking for the caramel! It's still a good restaurant nonetheless.

11/02/2026: Passing through Montélimar on numerous occasions, I never fail to stop at the "Brasserie des Négociants." The management and staff are particularly welcoming, professional, and kind. While the establishment maintains rigorous hygiene standards, I was taken aback by a comment I read... perhaps the author should verify the accuracy of their statements and check their sources more thoroughly. Without hesitation, I give this establishment 5/5, both for its warm welcome, the professionalism of the management and staff, and the absolutely impeccable hygiene.
