06/06/2026: I was unpleasantly surprised by this restaurant. When I walked in, the waitress had a huge, ear-to-ear smile and asked me what I wanted. My bladder was incredibly full, so my first concern was to empty it and then think about what to eat. I asked her to show me the restroom, and her face tightened, and she said, "€2, madam." I asked, "€2 for what?" She confirmed that the €2 was for the restroom. I gave her the €2 I had in my pocket and went to the restroom (I didn't really have a choice). However, I left and had lunch at the restaurant across the street where I should have been able to empty my bladder for free too, but oh well! Never again will I set foot in that place.

02/06/2026: The waiter was fantastic in the evening. The buffet is expensive. There are no group rates. It's wiser and healthier to order à la carte and avoid fried foods. The flavor enhancer is heavily used in the dishes and has consequences for appetite and the body. The establishment should inform customers about the effects of this salty ingredient, which can cause euphoria.

12/05/2026: Total disappointment! First of all, the welcome and service were anything but friendly: not a single smile. We had a reservation for 12:30 pm, we were seated quickly, and that was it… And already, of the three dishes on the menu, two were off the menu!? Only one dish remained, a last-minute addition: andouillette sausage. I asked if it came with a sauce, and I was told no, that it was simply pan-fried… Fine. You get the feeling you have to decide quickly: starters, main courses, desserts, you have to "get it over with." We decided to have an aperitif first anyway. It arrived quickly… too quickly even, since the starter was already there, hastily placed there apparently by the cook, or someone else… we'll never know. It's a shame, because the view of the lake was lovely and we were looking forward to spending quality time with our guest. In the end, we spent the best part of our time outside by the lake. Sorry, but we won't be back… Phew, service is over…

02/05/2026: Good restaurant. Very simple welcome. Same for the atmosphere. A bit pricey: set menu at 30 euros (we went on a Saturday) with a few extras, notably for the foie gras. Excellent meat. Cheese served on a plate.

16/04/2026: Very disappointing, tasteless food, and the owner put on a show with inappropriate Corsican singing and music. Having been to Corsica and returning, I can say it's nothing like what you find on the island.

23/05/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit. I ordered a Big Tasty Rösti but only received a regular Big Tasty; the rösti was completely missing. When we explained the problem, the manager (I assume) was condescending instead of trying to understand the situation. Of course, we only had the credit card receipt and not the receipt detailing the exact order, but that doesn't excuse this lack of consideration for customers. Mistakes happen, but the welcome and the way customers are treated are just as important.

13/05/2026: I love the atmosphere, the fun music, and the hot food 🥵. The staff are respectful and lovely. I wanted to give it 6 stars, but it's a shame there are only 5. Bessoncourt is the best McDonald's I've been to in the area.

22/12/2025: Restaurant closed - their catering service: HOW DO I END UP WITHOUT A CHRISTMAS MEAL FOR 11 PEOPLE ON DECEMBER 21ST?! My advice: RUN AWAY!! Tuesday, October 7th, request for a meal for 12 people - Reply from Ms. Manier on October 8th: "Hello, I just checked with the gentleman, there's no problem if you are more than 10 people. Thank you for your feedback on the meal of August 26th. Regarding the choice of meal, I'll let you choose from our menus on our Facebook page, which have already been offered in previous months." Followed by 5 text messages from me with no reply from Ms. Manier!!!!! D-Day, December 21st, 10:00 AM… I called to pick up the food, “Yes, I’ll ask Monsieur… (????!!!!!) I’ll call you back…” No phone call, but a nice message (it’s easier that way) from Mrs. Manier: “I just got off the phone with my husband, he told me he hadn’t confirmed the order for December 21st (FALSE! SEE FIRST REPLY!!) With his new job, it wasn’t compatible with the end-of-year holidays.” (WHY DIDN’T SAY THIS BEFORE AND WHY DIDN’T YOU REPLY TO MY 5 MESSAGES?) 1. A LIE, as evidenced by the October 8th message!! 2. Communication between the couple = ZERO - 3. No apologies, no "we're sorry,"... figure it out with your 11 guests, basically... and an arrogant young woman on the phone... 👏🏼 AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY'RE NOT SERIOUS

21/06/2026: A very warm welcome, the meal was excellent from start to finish, with very high-quality Italian products. I recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

03/05/2026: A rather refined Italian restaurant, it's quiet, there's a small but very good selection of pizzas, the pasta is perfect, and the desserts are too. Finally, the decor is very pretty. We'll be back...

Thank you both 🙏🏿 All the dishes on the menu are delicious: special mention for the sea bass fillet and the leek fondue 😍 A very nice place, by the way, opposite the pool.
