12/08/2026: We spent a night in Caen and were looking for a place to have dinner. We saw the good reviews and went. Small, cozy place, a small menu but very well prepared. A great find. The service was excellent. Highly recommended.

10/08/2026: A very, very good experience at this restaurant. Located along a street parallel to the sea but not directly on the seafront, and mainly frequented by cars. In short: you don't come here to eat just anything under the pretext that what's being sold is primarily the sea view (which there isn't!). Here, customers (many locals) return because the food is simple but truly high-quality, with a limited menu written on a chalkboard as it changes regularly. The welcome is warm, the owner and the waiter are always smiling, and you feel comfortable. The dining room is well insulated from outside noise, so no disturbances reach you. A very pleasant atmosphere. I only deducted one star for the ambiance because the dining room is quite noisy when it fills up: panels on the ceiling and/or walls to dampen the noise would be a welcome addition.

09/08/2026: A wonderful experience from start to finish. The servers were fantastic, always offering excellent recommendations when we were unsure, the value for money was excellent, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The dishes were beautifully prepared. Absolutely flawless. The only slight criticism is that they serve quickly, but considering the parking prices in Fréjus, that's actually a plus. 09/08/2026: Very disappointing experience. I ordered a ribeye, which arrived cold. After sending it back, it came back few minutes later with a strange taste, almost like gas or something burnt. We couldn’t enjoy it at all. What made the experience even worse was the response from the waiter. When we gave our feedback, instead of apologizing or trying to understand what had gone wrong, he blamed us for not mentioning it sooner. Poor food and disappointing customer service. I would avoid this restaurant.

06/08/2026: I had the aubergine with feta and hummus, and it was super delicious, and the staff were also very nice.

27/08/2026: I gave the food a 4 because I only ordered scrambled eggs, and the ambiance a 4 because I would have liked some music. But the service was a perfect 22/20; it's ideal for breakfast, even on a tough morning, it puts a smile back on your face.

29/07/2026: A true neighborhood bistro/restaurant. Great service. The owner's welcome is exceptional: you feel right at home. Good brasserie-style dishes. The fries are delicious (and that's coming from a Belgian).

07/04/2026: One of my favorite places in Paris. Since its reopening, the programming has been precise, inclusive, and welcoming. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new call for projects will be successful. It's a unique place for sharing in this city. We need more places like this.

13/08/2026: Excellent find this lunchtime. We stumbled upon it by chance. Very large free parking lot nearby. Everything was perfect from aperitif to dessert. The meat was excellent (beef skewer (hanger steak)), homemade fries, salad, and the sauce was perfect. The welcome and service were impeccable. The owner asked us during the meal if everything was alright, which is becoming rare. Very friendly and welcoming. Thank you, we had a lovely time and left with regret. Thank you! 2 Tarn locals on the go ☺️

22/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome (even with a large stroller). The food is delicious and excellent value for money. The servers are incredibly attentive, professional, and caring. The children's menu is great, with delicious meat, vegetables, and homemade mashed potatoes. (A welcome change from fish and chips!). They also have an innovative dry soap dispenser system in the restrooms—much more eco-friendly! 😁

26/05/2026: We recently stayed at this charming boutique hotel and had a fantastic experience. With only 17 rooms, the hotel has a wonderful, intimate vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a family room. It has more than enough space for two adults and two children. We visited during a particularly hot weekend with temperatures hitting 32°C, so we were incredibly relieved to find that the air conditioning was excellent and powerful, which is certainly not something you can take for granted in Paris! Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. As someone who truly values a good shower and a cool room, I was very happy. The breakfast was also a highlight. It was great and provided a perfect start to our mornings. I want to give a special commendation to the staff. They were absolutely wonderful, authentically nice, and incredibly hospitable throughout our stay. Both in the hotel and the restaurant downstairs. For those considering the location: if it is your first time in Paris, it is worth noting that the hotel is a bit further from the city center. However, if you are familiar with the city or looking for a more local, authentic experience, the 10th district has a fantastic vibe that we absolutely loved. I also wanted to address a concern for those traveling with family members who have mobility issues. I had read some conflicting reviews regarding accessibility, but I am pleased to report that the stairwell was perfectly fine for us. It is quite large and features a sturdy handrail, so it was completely doable for my mother, even with her mobility challenges. We were on the second floor and had no issues at all. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Paris. Highly recommended!

27/08/2026: While visiting Vesoul, we were given a restaurant recommendation in the shops. We arrived at the lovely terrace. The set menu (chicken strips in Vin Jaune sauce, mashed potatoes, and tiramisu for dessert) was excellent and very well presented. A very friendly waiter (who is leaving soon, unfortunately 😭) and waitress 👍. A place to try without hesitation. Thank you for this wonderful discovery 🫶

24/08/2026: Friendly staff and tasteful decor. Unfortunately, I was left wanting more (literally): the "beautiful piece of veal with foie gras jus" at €34 turned out to be two slices of dry roast veal with a forestière sauce (button mushrooms). The lobster prepared three ways was nice, but be prepared to pay €70.
