15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal. The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish. Note that the drinks are quite expensive. Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.

Nice bakery, friendly staff. One day I had a baguette and the next a pain au chocolat, but I touched both with my hands after giving the previous customer change. I never went back.

From the completely overcooked (deep-fried) appetizer to the tasteless vegetable rice, the main course itself, and even the dessert, nothing about the menu impressed me. Expecting Swiss prices in France was a complete disappointment for such a disastrous meal. NEVER AGAIN. The restaurant's decor is (you have to like that sort of thing) somewhat seedy. It's a matter of taste.

11/07/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs! The staff were incredibly unfriendly and apparently unwilling to make any effort for people who are gluten-free. We simply wanted information about a product, and they claimed they didn't have time, even though the restaurant was empty.

Instead of taking one out of the freezer for two seconds to scan and check it, the owner condescendingly told us he didn't have time, even though the bar was empty. Next time, charge for the owner's friendliness to get a smile.

29/05/2026: I've been twice since the beginning of the year for lunch at this restaurant. The first time was very good; the dishes were tasty, the portions were just right, and the service was reasonably quick. I went back this month and was disappointed. The steak tartare was good, but the dessert was a letdown. I chose the chocolate mousse, which was served in a jar, and frankly, there was more whipped cream than mousse. It took four spoonfuls to eat it. The quantity was truly insufficient, even ridiculous, as we laughed because we were so surprised. The wait for dessert was also quite long, even though the dining room and terrace weren't full. I'll go back a third time before crossing this place off my list, and I hope to find the same quality I experienced on my first visit.
