25/08/2026: Bad experience at the Eguisheim shop I had a bad experience at this Alsatian biscuit shop in Eguisheim on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The main saleswoman on duty that day was very unpleasant, almost bothered by my presence with my 5-year-old daughters. Drawn in by the sample biscuits offered to tourists at the entrance, I then wanted to choose my macarons, but she was curt and barely let me choose myself; she decided for me. She even seemed annoyed that another saleswoman had offered me a biscuit to try, going so far as to ask me where I was eating it in front of the queue. I got the impression that she mainly wanted me to leave the shop as quickly as possible. I've tried the same chain in Strasbourg and Colmar, and all the saleswomen there were pleasant, except for this one on Sunday, August 23, in Eguisheim. A disappointing experience that I will not forget.

21/08/2026: Nice cookies. However, the staff gave us the impression that we're bothering them with our presence when buying their not too cheap goodies.

03/10/2026: Huge disappointment: we've been going to this restaurant for several years, and tonight we ordered couscous to take away. A merguez sausage was missing, the beef skewer turned into a dry chicken skewer, and the pieces of meat were ridiculously small… the value for money was absolutely terrible: around sixty euros for this… no way! What's more, the waitress was frankly unfriendly. We're used to charming waiters, but here the Moroccan warmth was replaced by polar cold! It's a shame, but this will be our last time.

22/08/2026: Always so good, dishes well served, excellent welcome, prices that are worth the price, delicious food, once again we are delighted and will return.

23/08/2026: A very friendly place, the food is excellent, especially the summer tartine. Cleanliness, kindness, and professionalism. Alicia, the waitress who served us, was exemplary. Thank you.

10/10/2026: I've eaten ramen in Besançon several times and always found it overpriced and disappointing in terms of taste. Here, I was very, very pleasantly surprised by the extremely delicious, smooth, and flavorful Dan Dan Ramen – highly recommended!! And for vegetarians, it's a dream come true to have such a wide selection on the menu.

02/10/2026: Perfect experience. Very calm atmosphere, tasteful and harmonious decor, reasonable wait time, and delicious food. The best restaurant in Besak. I'll definitely be back.

03/05/2026: Pleasant restaurant, very good food, well prepared and presented. Friendly owner. 20 euros on Sundays, great deal. I came back and changed my mind; I've been back and I'll be back. A simple and enjoyable meal.

22/09/2026: A lovely restaurant, the food is homemade and very tasty. Excellent value for money. My compliments to the chef for the salmon dish served on a bed of vegetables. With its sea view, the restaurant has everything you need for a great time, no matter where you're seated!

16/09/2026: The food was inedible, and we are very flexible and simple people. The veggie burger was completely burnt, the fries were soggy, and the fish and chips were raw... The bathroom was dirty and smelly, and the final touch: it was incredibly sad to see the lobsters piled up with their claws tied, ready to be thrown alive into boiling water. This last comment isn't the reason for the low rating, as it's unfortunately legal, but the food was truly of extremely poor quality, typical of a throwaway tourist restaurant.

15/09/2026: Located in the charming and preserved setting of the Passage des Panoramas, this Italian restaurant undeniably captivates with its atmosphere. The hushed decor and cozy ambiance are, in our opinion, its greatest assets. The welcome and service at the start of our meal were also pleasant, as was the aperitif, suggesting a high-quality culinary experience. However, what followed completely ruined the experience. The arrival of the so-called "Milanese," presented as the restaurant's signature dish, caused genuine consternation among us. It was in no way an authentic veal escalope, but an extremely thin and poor-quality slice of pork, emitting an unbearable and utterly tasteless pork odor—to the point of suggesting it was far inferior to a €3 frozen meal from Picard. To make matters worse, the side dish consisted of a handful of low-grade fries, without a single trace of spaghetti. After reading the numerous harsh reviews about the food, and especially this so-called specialty, it's clear that if we had been aware of them beforehand, we would have categorically avoided ordering this dish or, more simply, never set foot in this establishment. Charging 35 euros for this dish is a purely mercenary approach, devoid of any respect or consideration for the customer. As for the dessert, while it displayed an appreciable aesthetic effort thanks to the addition of flower petals, the taste was mediocre and comparable to canned goods. In conclusion, while the place has a certain charm on the surface, the culinary experience is a complete disaster. This is an address to be avoided at all costs.

24/09/2026: I'm very disappointed with this McDonald's! I ordered three cheeseburgers without ham, clearly specifying my request. To my surprise, they simply trimmed the ham that was sticking out, but the ham was still inside the sandwich! This is completely unacceptable, especially when you clearly ask for a ham-free product. And unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened at this McDonald's. When you pay for an order and make a special request, the least they can do is respect it properly. Only removing the excess and leaving the rest inside is absolutely unacceptable. The result: three sandwiches to throw away, a real disappointment, and above all, an impression of a lack of care in order preparation. I strongly advise against this McDonald's, especially if you have specific requests for your order. Double-check your sandwiches before you leave!

13/09/2026: The pizza was good, but the servers (including the guy in the restaurant's video) are really grumpy… We come here to spend our money, after all; we, the customers, are the ones who keep the restaurant going. A smile and a little kindness would be appreciated.

16/10/2026: This restaurant is a little gem, offering excellent value for money. The food is delicious, the service is quick, and the waitress is incredibly kind. This is our third time at Calypso, and it certainly won't be our last. Until next time!

15/10/2026: Unfriendly service – patronizing right from the start! The food was mediocre! Cold cappuccino! Arrogant waitress – in a touristy seaside resort – sorry my French isn't perfect – we were treated like little children! We eat out every day all over the world – I've rarely encountered such bad, arrogant service! The food was average and overpriced! The oysters were fresh, but not consistently Category 3! The waitress actually spoke good English – which isn't a requirement… we manage somehow in every country… but she insisted on lecturing us in French! We didn't leave a tip – there are better and much friendlier restaurants on the street! If you find "tourists" (well-paying guests) annoying, just put a sign outside saying "For French only" 😉… Perhaps you'll visit us in Berlin sometime – let's see how Madame feels in a restaurant when someone approaches her like that… We didn't feel comfortable – what a shame! Terrible service for such a small amount of food! Salmon with bread - unimaginative Oysters (6 pieces, not category 3) Mussels Saffron scallops (very little) 2 x 2 house wines 2 cold cappuccinos 126 Euros 🥴🙄🙈🤣 Outrageous and then unfriendly too 👎

04/10/2026: Nice Sunday restaurant. The food was good, a little music wouldn't have hurt. Special shout-out to the waiter who brought his good humor and friendliness (the long-haired, bearded waiter was really great).

29/09/2026: A first for us! We celebrated a birthday and the staff were very attentive to our needs! The pizzas were delicious! And the place was very well-maintained and clean. We'll gladly come back to try other dishes! 😊

10/05/2026: We were lucky enough to dine on the terrace at this establishment under a beautiful sun with a magnificent view, but above all, we shared a delicious meal as a family. Everything was very good and the service was excellent, thank you!

10/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with a beautiful view of the Brick cove. Plenty of choice, high quality, and very pleasant service. The dining room was a bit noisy. Dogs are allowed in one of the rooms.

16/09/2026: A very good meal at this restaurant, perfect service with a smile. A lovely conversation, aperitif, main course (sea bass), "crying tiger" meat, beautifully presented and very good dessert, coffee and wine quite reasonably priced considering the originality of the dishes. We will be back.

12/09/2026: As a business owner myself, and meticulous about customer service, I do not recommend this establishment, especially to tourists! Having ordered an aperitif, set menu, and bottle of wine, and finding the place far from full, we waited over 45 minutes for our second course without any explanation. The owner never came to ask us, even after we paid the bill, if everything was alright (unlike the regulars' table!!!). I expected to enjoy a delicious meal given the wait... I absolutely do not recommend the pork secreto!!
