25/05/2026: I'm going to give you a detailed review because I think it's the first time I've ever been this low, and it deserves to be precise because behind this review are hard-working men and women in the restaurant industry. We had a reservation for 8 people at this casual, open-air restaurant near Les Sables d'Olonne. Upon arrival, there was no welcome; we waited 5 minutes standing in front of a band. No worries, we're patient, it happens. Once seated, we were offered drinks a good 15 minutes after our arrival... never mind. We were served fairly quickly after that. For our order, we had to wait another 15 minutes. Not everything is on the menu, and not everything on the menu is available. Anyway, everyone found something they liked... And then began an interminable wait... at least 45 minutes. We saw two people sharing the tables. There was no sense of energy... no efficiency, but they were smiling. The food finally arrived, and that's when the disappointment set in. The cod was very mediocre, the grilled and flambéed eels were nothing more than something dry accompanied by three steamed potatoes, the frogs' legs were acceptable, as was the burger. Side dishes were missing... they wanted to charge extra... in short, we ended up not ordering dessert. The bill was half empty... we told them so... they ended up offering us drinks for free... why not, but frankly, we have no desire to go back. Clearly, they are understaffed; the menu is too extensive to deliver on all the promises made on the plate. It's worth noting that there was a very pleasant jazz band, which was a nice surprise. I'm sure these comments don't surprise you, but I want them to be constructive. The ingredients seem to be of good quality, and the recipes are unusual, so it wouldn't take much to turn things around. I wish you good luck!

23/05/2026: Lacking in seasoning and flavor. The cheese plate cost €14 and consisted of three tiny pieces. Luckily, we had a set menu with two starters, two main courses, and two desserts, because if you only order a starter, main course, and dessert, you'll leave having eaten nothing. In fact, one of the two "desserts" was really just a small quenelle of ice cream with nothing else to it; I'd call it an amuse-bouche at best.

08/07/2026: Third visit to this supposedly well-regarded restaurant in Beynes: - The first (2018): a very inappropriate welcome and comments from the waitress (who is also the owner) whenever we wanted to know what the dishes on the menu were or what their ingredients were; three hours for a dinner we only moderately enjoyed. - The second (2022): a lovely evening with impeccable service and excellent food. - The third (2026): an hour to be served, an aperitif that never arrived, impossible to place an order—in short, a romantic dinner that turned into a "why did we choose this place?" situation. We ate well, that's all. We weren't served at the time we wanted, nor in the atmosphere we wanted, and worse, the owner showed no remorse or apology. In short: for the price of your services, improve the service and keep the food (and please, no rosin in the dishes).

05/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent discovery! We had a very pleasant time at Le Seize with four colleagues. The welcome was warm, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the dishes were refined, generous, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each plate. The atmosphere is elegant and convivial. An address I wholeheartedly recommend in Grenoble, and one I will gladly return to on my next visit.

28/04/2026: The location is very pleasant, but there's a major drawback: the soundproofing is poor, both from the outside and from neighboring apartments. The nights are very noisy.

27/04/2026: Perfect residence for a week of skiing...located in the heart of the resort, right at the foot of the slopes...parking 200m away...shops very close by... Top-notch apartment...and the staff's welcome and friendliness were impeccable.

27/06/2026: The pizzeria is fantastic, the pizza chef is incredibly kind, and the pizzas are delicious. I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed.

13/06/2026: Thank you to this wonderful establishment for welcoming us to a place where such a place doesn't exist, or at least no longer does. Thank you for the idyllic setting, which also offers a pizza machine that also doesn't work. I recommend it 100%, if you're planning on going on a diet or window shopping.

14/07/2026: Good food with really nice view/atmosphere. The waiter/waitress are super kind and responsive (which, in my experience, is somewhat rare in Paris). I had a great experience here.

05/07/2026: Far too expensive for brunch (€38). No basket of pastries, just a single, mediocre croissant. No orange juice or cold drinks included. No complimentary coffee, no milk. The ambiance isn't enough to compensate for the poor quality of the service. Avoid.

18/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, one of the best in Calvi. We ate very well; they also offer vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly, the welcome was warm, and the setting is lovely with a beautiful view of the gulf. A sure bet in Calvi, remember to book! The only downside: the manager isn't bilingual in Dutch 😂!

17/07/2026: We arrived at a beautiful terrace with a great view. The terrace was still empty; there were 'reserved' signs on three tables. We were ignored, and eventually someone came over and angrily pushed the tables apart after we asked for a table for two. When we asked if we could sit there, the response was 'no no, it is reserved,' even though there was no sign on it. We left immediately after this rude treatment and went to sit down at Umani in the harbor, where we were received very kindly.

17/06/2026: Warm welcome and good service. We ordered the kefta and vegetarian platters, and they were delicious! The portions were generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! I highly recommend it!
