27/04/2026: Excellent cuisine and very good wine pairing recommendations during the meal. The service was satisfactory. BUT We called on a SATURDAY EVENING at 10:50 PM (last order taken at 9 PM according to the schedule). I don't think they kick people out at 10 PM... We therefore assumed that the restaurant, although perhaps already closed to customers, would still be open, finishing cleaning up, as the last customers shouldn't have left that long ago. Perhaps we were mistaken in our reasoning. In any case, we called the restaurant's number LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE. Instead of being redirected to an answering machine or having the phone ring unanswered, a woman answered. We wanted to know if there was still availability for a reservation the following day at lunchtime. In a very dismissive tone, she replied: "I DON'T SLEEP WITH MY CALENDAR." We were very surprised and apologized, only to be met with another comment: "If you only knew the life we ​​have..." I find it unacceptable, given the establishment's reputation, to respond this way to customers wanting to reserve a table. Either you don't answer, or you politely reply that the restaurant is closed and that they should call back the next day. I didn't understand why you would answer the restaurant's phone if you were asleep? So, we were simply very disappointed. It really put us off, especially since I used to love this restaurant and had such fond memories of it, as just a few hours later, I was proposed to during our last visit. I'm not sure I'll be going back for these reasons.

17/04/2026: I found the restaurant very pleasantly decorated, especially the veranda. I had a truly excellent lunch. The chef prepares classic cuisine, but it's impeccably executed. A real pleasure. The owner was in a cheerful mood, and her staff was very professional. I'll gladly return. Well done to everyone!

09/05/2026: Didn't stay here, just came across it whilst wandering. We experienced the most wonderful hospitality from the owner and staff, even when the kitchen was closed he conjured up a most delightful lunch platter for us. We had a very enjoyable couple of hours just sitting on the front terrace watching the world go by. We left feeling like we were leaving a friend behind. Merci Le Saint Jean team!

22/03/2026: Romain offered us a fantastic all-inclusive private party. A buffet with delicious food, excellent service, music… Go for it without hesitation, you won't be disappointed.

17/06/2026: Delicious, perfectly cooked, and piping hot crepes served on warmed plates with very friendly, quick, and helpful service. For two of us, the bill came to €29, including a bowl of cider, 50ml of sparkling water, two generously filled crepes, and an excellent espresso.

28/04/2026: Not great. My southwest salad had tomatoes and onions (not mentioned on the menu), and my lemon crepe barely tasted of lemon. I won't be going back. I gave it two stars because the service was good.

01/07/2026: The location is close to the airport, but very few planes fly over as it's a small airport. The welcome was very good, and the mobile homes are clean and modern; we were there as a family reunion, staying in several units. The pool staff are a bit strict and always watching our every move (regarding the wristbands), but it's their job (relax, madam).

01/06/2026: Such a beautiful campsite, gorgeous and luxurious mobile home was new, lovely swimming pool, good beds, beautiful and good restaurant, only a pity you can't buy snacks in the afternoon, as it is closed then. But that seems to be normal, I think in the high season it is. But otherwise a beautiful, clean campsite, with large pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, very neat shower facilities with all amenities, very clean too!! We will definitely come back again, you can also enjoy canoeing there, and the staff is very helpful too! All in all, they are certainly worth 5 stars!!!

18/05/2026: Could you please review my review? I will never return, and I request a €300 refund. The reason given is the poor dining experience you provided. I ordered a weekday lunch set menu with fried cod as an appetizer, but the restaurant served me a large piece of "fried bread." I struggled to eat this bread while waiting for my main course, "curry pork chop." During this time, another male customer arrived, and within seconds of him ordering, the staff brought out a pre-prepared "curry pork chop." I was extremely surprised. When I asked the staff why my main course hadn't arrived, they pretended not to know what I ordered and repeatedly asked me to confirm my order… I couldn't play along with their act anymore…

27/03/2026: Terrible service. We waited 30 minutes without even being offered a drink, only to be told she was busy and we had to wait. We wanted to support our African brothers and sisters, and this is the service we received. What a shame. We left hungry. Unbelievable.

22/06/2026: Having been a regular at the Columbus in Paris, I find this one a bit less appealing. The space is small and the tables aren't cleaned. I waited a good 15 minutes before I could even place my order, even though it wasn't busy. There wasn't much choice, either savory or sweet, and the orange juice was served in a cardboard cup 🤮 It's still convenient for sitting down, having a snack, and working on the computer. This is the one near my place, but I'll check out the other Columbus locations in the area to see if they're any better or the same.

03/06/2026: My boyfriend had a milkshake which was very good; my Thai latte could have been good if it hadn't been watered down. The chai latte tasted more like water than anything else, which was a real shame considering the price. Besides, there were more ice cubes than drink!

13/04/2026: One of the best kebabs in Clermont!! Despite the price of €10 with fries, the meat is unbeatable. Generous portions and clean service. I've been going here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed.

15/06/2026: We arrived a little late for a weekend meal because we thought this restaurant served Thai food, as indicated on the Google listing. When we arrived, the owner was sitting outside with friends. We went in and asked if we could eat. The owner, visibly annoyed, told us that they now only served Thai tapas, without giving any further explanation… we understood that we were intruding. He then went back to his drink. Completely bizarre, considering the restaurant was completely empty. We would have gladly eaten, but it would have taken more courtesy and a friendly attitude.

29/05/2026: Very pleasant atmosphere, warm and friendly welcome, beautifully presented platters, a unique setting, air-conditioned dining room and very good tapas, I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back.

29/05/2026: Despite the outward appearance of this restaurant (old gas station) it serves excellent food and promptly. The waiter was very pleasant and understanding due to my poor French even though I should be bilingual. I have never tasted turkey that moist and tasteful (Escaloped de dinde) and an incredible Tarte aux pommes for dessert. My wife also gives 5 stars for her Roti de porc plate. Well done, gentlemen. Highly recommended.

31/03/2026: Very appetizing dishes at a reasonable price. The dining room is a bit noisy. Option to eat on the terrace with a view of the Simonet statue!
