11/12/2025: This is THE restaurant, which might be why I'm lowering the rating of the other reviews I posted when we were in Paris. Clearly a 5-star+! An absolute must-try, the quality/price ratio is excellent! Izakaya for starters, followed by a salmon bowl, was frankly superb. We also had cocktails as an aperitif, generously poured and, most importantly, not diluted (sometimes you get unpleasant surprises). The service was super efficient, the waiters very friendly. A must-try for those who love Japanese food! The only minor drawback, if I had to find one, would be that it's a bit cramped, but that's also part of the Izakaya atmosphere.

03/06/2026: After reading the various reviews, we decided to treat ourselves and eat at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly. However, we were all disappointed by the value for money. We ordered different dishes, and considering the prices, nothing was particularly impressive: an undercooked chicken leg, rather small portions, and a very basic burger. Nothing exceptional, in short, which is a real shame.

07/12/2025: Great steakhouse! We had T-bone and ribeye steaks. The fries and sweet potato fries were delicious. Warm welcome.

05/12/2025: The weather in Paris was so cold that I had the pumpkin soup that the owner recommended. I don't usually eat pumpkin porridge in Korea, but it was really delicious!!! It tastes completely different from Korean pumpkin porridge, and it's light, not too sweet, and creamy! I had the steak medium rare, but it was a bit tough. The female owner is very friendly and kind.

17/05/2026: A wonderful discovery opposite the statue of Ulysses. A friend had recommended it, and she was right. The warm stuffed oysters are a real treat. I will gladly return on my next visit to Les Sables.

16/05/2026: We walked in and received a warm welcome. The service was quick and attentive. A great selection of dishes, all delicious. The other customers were respectful of the peace and quiet. I highly recommend it.

The dishes are flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The welcome is warm, the service pleasant, and the atmosphere friendly. 30/05/2026: Frankly disappointed, mussels and fries, I've never seen such a small cone of fries, the wine glasses were full of limescale stains, the mashed potatoes were the same, the equivalent of a tablespoon, yet it's not what costs so much, the fries and potatoes.

30/05/2026: Not recommended. There was a cockroach in the toilet, and when you reported it, you were treated condescendingly.

30/05/2026: Certainly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, a calm and intimate atmosphere, friendly, pleasant, and attentive service, and a delightful array of surprises and delicious dishes. A wonderful evening celebrating my wife's birthday.

24/05/2026: A very good restaurant with very friendly and attentive service! The restaurant will be renovated soon. I didn't immediately notice the slightly dated "leopard print" carpet. But we were more impressed by the good food and the very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

20/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at L’Empire du 8ème celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary! The setting is lovely, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable. A huge thank you to Laetitia for her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism throughout the meal. We are delighted to recommend this restaurant.

19/05/2026: What a find. Such a good Japanese restaurant. The food is exceptional, we had miso soup (delish), Dragon Maki and Salmon Tatuki(?). It was so good we had lunch there the next day. All beautifully done and gorgeous flavours.
