14/04/2026: We had lunch with a friend on the terrace today. How can they serve customers in such a filthy place? Honestly! We ordered two dishes anyway. Everything was swimming in cream or salad dressing. I don't recommend this place.

The welcome is warm and the staff is truly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to the homemade aperitif, which was simply delicious! The price is very reasonable, which makes you want to come back even more. A place I highly recommend.

The owner is charming, cultured, and delightful, with exceptional service and wonderful little touches. The restaurant lives up to this, with the added bonus of high-quality dishes, a diverse menu, beautiful presentation, and elegant décor. The same can be said for the accommodation, which exudes tradition and bygone values ​​– everything that allows Parisian city dwellers like us to escape. If you're looking for an experience different from the usual high-end hotel fare, don't hesitate to visit the Relais de la Tour, chat with the owner, explore the beautiful Sologne region, and sample the restaurant, whose chef is also the owner. A must-visit!

31/05/2026: We stayed two nights at the Relais de la Tour, a charming and authentic hotel. However, we couldn't sleep because there was no way to regulate the room temperature, which was unbearably high, even after a significant drop in temperature on the second night. Buoyed by PSG's second consecutive Champions League victory, we arrived at the Relais for a drink on Saturday evening, which was served by the owner. If I had been informed beforehand of the drink prices (€12 for a Get 27), I would have immediately returned to my sweltering room.

20/05/2026: A friend and I stopped at this place during a cycling trip to recharge. The chef was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Many thanks to the chef and the waitress, who were both very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed a generous meal. Highly recommended!

19/12/2025: Now I remembered that I, Sir Ludovic de Téléton, had come to Lignières and stopped at a place called the Auberge du Chasteau. At this name, I raised an eyebrow, for I saw there neither crenellated towers, nor drawbridge, nor machicolations from which to hurl burning pitch upon the enemy. No keep, no portcullis: great was my astonishment. However, many a castle is not made of stone alone, but can be a castle of flavors and good governance. And it is there that this place redeems itself with honor. I was served poultry prepared with curry and ginger, a dish of unusual origin but of very subtle artistry. The flesh was tender, the spices well-balanced, not harsh, but knowing how to speak to the palate like a minstrel at court. Admittedly, I must say without mincing words that the portion seemed rather small… but not through any stinginess on the part of the host: it's because I have a hearty appetite, and this dish, so delectable, opened my stomach more than it satisfied it. A minor fault, born not of poverty, but of excellence. Thus I left, not angry, but eager to return, which is the greatest homage a lord can pay. Better still: I am going to tell my king about it at once, so that, if he pleases, he may deign to visit this place which, without walls, knows how to hold court like a high fortress. A gentleman's word: this castle is on the plate.

16/04/2026: I've been ordering from this pizzeria for 15 years, and I can tell you it's the best pizzeria in Marseille. I highly recommend it! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Delivery is always on time, and sometimes even early. But most importantly, the pizza is bursting with flavor, and the crust is perfect. In short, the pizzeria is perfect.
