12/03/2026: A very bad experience at Teranga. I came with a friend and we ordered two dishes of braised chicken with plantains. Unfortunately, everything was disappointing. The plantains were extremely soggy and dripping with oil. The salad still contained grains of sand, which is frankly unacceptable in a restaurant. As for the chili pepper, it tasted like spoiled food and was completely bland. For a restaurant, the bare minimum is to serve clean, quality food. This experience was very disappointing, and I do not recommend this establishment.

The only downside is that they don't take reservations, which can be a real issue during peak season or major events. Regardless, if you're in Alpe d'Huez, it’s a must-stop for great French food at reasonable prices.

16/05/2026: A friendly and welcoming place, ideal for a drink or a meal. The service is impeccable. I have wonderful memories of it, whether for a simple coffee break or a more intimate and romantic moment with a friend to share a special occasion. It truly is the perfect spot! Plus, it's very easy to get to, with the Convention metro station right across the street.

12/05/2026: This café has been in the same location for approximately 70 years. Ideal for sitting at the end of the day and watching the bustling street activity and pedestrian traffic. A typical Parisian café.

19/05/2026: Speaking of the Brasserie alone: ​​very good, home-style cooking, a welcome change from the pretentiousness of many other restaurants in Albi. Whelks and prawns with aioli for starters, followed by a delicious veal sauté with olives, and a fruit mousse to finish. All for just over €20. A glass of good Gaillac wine, €4.50.

25/06/2026: The restaurant is not air-conditioned, we came following recommendations and proximity to the museum and were disappointed, the steak was very thin. We ordered a salad that was half rotten and a dish with a fish based on a boba base that was just delicious but the fish was hard to eat. The waiter was very nice

In conclusion, I recommend it, but avoid the pudding if you don't want to have a three-hour date with the restaurant bathroom. ❤️👏

Everything is within walking distance, which is a real plus. The breakfast is generous, varied, and made with fresh products. It's a great way to start the day. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, with quality bedding that ensured a very good night's sleep. The entire hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is welcoming, friendly, and always available. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value for money. I will gladly return on my next trip to Les Sables-d'Olonne!
