12/09/2026: A huge thank you to the entire team at La Détente for their two days of service at our wedding! Amélie is lovely and was very attentive throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the appetizers to the meal, including the brunch the following day, everything was perfect! The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the team was incredibly friendly! All our guests were blown away! So thank you again!

26/09/2026: We arrived at 6:30 pm this evening, on foot, to descend back into the valley from the refuge... we were allowed to leave without battery power on our phones and without lights, even though the refuge manager knew perfectly well that we would be crossing the forest at night. It took us 2.5 hours to descend without light, risking injury to our knees and ankles... I thought mountain safety would be more of a priority...

18/10/2026: An exceptional discovery on Saturday evening! A magnificent team and extraordinary cuisine, full of subtlety and the flavors of Gers. A wonderful culinary experience after some truly beautiful shows at the Circa festival… Auch is a magnificent and very welcoming city. Lil from Nissan-lez-Enserune and the Compagnie des Hommes Sensibles, Nicolas from Sarzeau and Pascal from Vierzon… not forgetting Sardine from Nissan. We can't wait to come back!

15/10/2026: A very good experience in this small restaurant where you won't leave hungry. Truly Gers-style, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended. I'm not giving it 5 stars just to be a bit of a pain 😂

06/10/2026: I booked this restaurant based on reviews and my experience was far from that of other reviewers. So Im leaving an honest review of my personal experience. Service was subpar. The food was not what you'd expect from such a highly rated establishment in Paris. Maybe an off night, but it was way off. Salmon was, well, basic salmon. Nothing special. The hanger steak, though I did order it medium, was tough and overcooked, thick and chewy, tasteless and the sauce was bland. The potatoes looked great! Bland. The creme brulee was average at best. If you're looking for a great restaurant experience in Paris, I'd pass on this place. Left disappointed my last meal in Paris! And if the restaurant response is I should have said something, had anyone approached us during our meal, I would have.

05/10/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Pie Noir for my grandmother's birthday! Excellent restaurant! Everything was perfect, the welcome and service were incredibly warm. The dishes were generously portioned and of excellent quality. We will gladly return!

23/10/2026: Excellent value for money. This is a family-run restaurant that takes its work very seriously. The establishment is very clean and the atmosphere is pleasant. The portions are generous and the service is quick. We came twice during our stay in Paris because our daughters love sushi. Each time, we received a very warm welcome. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality!

09/09/2026: Excellent osteria in the heart of the Charonne district, which has changed so much (for the better!). The menu was quite short, but a good indication that the dishes are homemade, fresh daily, and regularly updated – we wanted to try everything (which we did). The appetizers (which we shared) were superb: a variation with Japanese influences on Italian classics, very creative and successful. The main courses were perhaps a notch below the initial explosion of flavors – but still very tasty, especially the tuna, which literally melted in your mouth. The only dessert (tiramisu) was rich and creamy, perhaps lacking a touch of amaretto (or alcohol in general). The portions are generous and the prices reasonable in the current climate. We couldn't finish our meal and got takeout. The servers were all lovely, very smiley, cheerful, and attentive. My daughters particularly enjoyed the slightly retro decor. The wine list was very impressive and detailed (notably attributing each Italian wine to its region of origin), but I can't comment on it as we weren't in the mood to drink (and there was no pressure whatsoever). It's a place we plan to return to; thank you for this excellent experience!
