27/09/2026: Don't order the set menu unless you're prepared to eat like a horse: it's incredibly generous portions, and the bull stew was excellent. The waitress was very friendly. Absolutely fantastic!

09/10/2026: A small steakhouse for those who love good, wood-fired food. The wine pairings are very interesting. The restaurant is on the street and the dining room is quite small, which creates a very convivial atmosphere between the tables—you either love it or you don't. While the waitress on duty was rather eccentric and "unconventional," don't let that fool you into thinking the food is good: we thoroughly enjoyed it!

23/09/2026: It's not my habit to leave negative reviews, but I'm very disappointed! Admittedly, we were late for our reservation (and we apologized for that), but the waitress's friendliness, hospitality, and service far outweighed the slight. We remained courteous throughout, despite her off-putting manner of speaking and her complete lack of a smile. A second round of appetizers was served just before the main courses, even though we had asked if it would be possible to have roasted Camembert with our drinks. Some of the meat was overcooked, and the portions of fries were child's size. The final blow came when the owner, during the checkout, proceeded to lecture us about our meal choices (I'm still looking for the law stating that it's mandatory to order a starter and a main course in France). In short, there are much better restaurants in Angoulême and, if it's a restaurant frequented by regulars, they simply need to close their establishment on the weekend of the ramparts circuit!

13/09/2026: Don't let the location fool you; it's the Cergy industrial zone, not exactly glamorous... However, once you step inside this concert hall, the magic happens. It's a great place to listen to music with top-notch bands.

09/10/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit on Sunday, June 21st. The atmosphere was awful, once again due to the behavior of one of the waitresses. Furthermore, the coffee was very poorly extracted and rap music was playing at full volume, which is unthinkable for a specialty coffee shop. I do not recommend it.

04/09/2026: Today, September 4th, it's proudly displayed that Béthemont is Ugolf, however, Ugolf customers aren't informed that the greens have been treated and are therefore in "winter" condition. In the 21st century, failing to communicate with ALL your customers is a mistake! Furthermore, at 7:35 am, three people claiming to be from the club yelled at us because we were leaving before 8:00 am, a time slot apparently reserved for its members. These same people, acting like they own the place, arrive 5 minutes late and have the nerve to make comments to other players. So much for the Béthemont spirit! I won't be back anytime soon.

14/09/2026: I went there last night. The menu was very limited, and even a small eater like me quickly got tired of it. The welcome wasn't great. It was incredibly noisy, and the dining room was very poorly organized. Later, when I checked my bill, I realized we were charged about €5 extra for no reason, since there was absolutely no waste, and that extra charge was €8 anyway. In short, a very, very bad experience. You're much better off going to the Atlantis in Limoges.

16/05/2026: The welcome was truly warm, the setting magnificent, The service impeccable and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals (pork escalope, veal escalope, rabbit, or beef steak) – the portions were generous. Our rooms were spacious, with a large bathroom. A superb and wonderfully peaceful natural setting. We will be back. Thank you for everything.

20/02/2026: Excellent experience at this Vietnamese restaurant! The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh and authentic ingredients. The portions are very generous, and the prices are truly attractive considering the quantity and, above all, the quality offered: it's hard to find better value for money. The value is clearly a major strength of this establishment. The service is perfect, welcoming, and attentive, and the friendly and warm atmosphere makes the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

18/02/2026: A superb discovery in Marseillan! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The dishes were delicious, fresh, and generous. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable. Special mention to the built-in grill at the table.

02/09/2026: We had a wonderful lunch. The salads were fresh and appetizing, the cordon bleu with Munster cheese was delicious, the fries were a delight, the trout fillets were exquisite, and the desserts were magnificent (all for 3 people, all inclusive, €127, so come hungry!). The staff was friendly, the atmosphere very welcoming, and there was a beautiful view over the Lucelle valley. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the team, and see you soon!

20/08/2026: Discovered on our motorcycle road trip, it was a pleasant surprise! The food was excellent! It's reasonably priced, and everyone is friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant; we promise we'll stop by again if we're ever back.

20/03/2026: A truly awful waitress who, once again, treated my family with utter disrespect, even though the restaurant wasn't even full and we come often because we live nearby. And to be fair, the food is very good. Twenty minutes later, we still didn't receive the frozen lemon we ordered—yes, because she'd forgotten it!—and we had to take the dishes back to the kitchen ourselves to prepare the leftovers to take away. All this with a hungry four-year-old waiting at the table... The food is good, but the service is absolutely appalling. If you don't enjoy being a waitress, change careers. I should point out that this isn't just a one-off; it's happened to me several times before.
