31/07/2026: We came to this large restaurant near the train station one evening during the week. The servers were very friendly and welcoming, and we were able to sit on the terrace. However, the food wasn't good. The mountain burger buns were extremely dry, and the burger was swimming in ketchup (the meat itself was very good, though). The pizza verde was also very bland (far too much cheese, no salt, etc.), and the zucchini was burnt. We were really disappointed with the food. I don't recommend it.

20/07/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant. The four of us wanted to eat there for lunch during our work break. Exceptionally, that day, I had my dog ​​with me. The young woman told us it was fine for us, but not for the dog. I'm not one of those people who abandon their dog just to go out for a meal. When I asked her why, she replied that the fur would fly around and could cause allergies. Please note, we're talking about a small dog weighing 2 kg, which was in its carrier, completely closed. The fur couldn't possibly fly around, and I pointed this out to her. She simply replied, "That's how it is, we don't want them here!" This wasn't indicated anywhere at the restaurant entrance. A few hours later, I walked past the restaurant again and noticed that tables had been set up on the sidewalk so customers could eat on the terrace, which wasn't offered to us. I've never been refused entry to a restaurant with my dog, especially when he's in a carrier. We understood perfectly well that she didn't like dogs. Luckily, we were very well received at another restaurant where we could have our lunch break. Now I know which restaurant I won't recommend.

14/09/2026: First and last time. Storing hot food in plastic containers is very unhealthy. The spring roll is €1, which is more expensive than the two Asian takeaways down the street (plus, it's very greasy and soggy). The tenders and donuts are frozen and of very high quality. The color of the sausages is alarming. However, the waiter was friendly.

12/06/2026: Here's a shorter version for Google: Very disappointed. The waitress was unfriendly and unprofessional. Hygiene leaves much to be desired, with a general impression of sloppiness. The pizzas are of average quality and the atmosphere is very noisy. Despite having a terrace, no effort is made to seat customers there. Furthermore, you clearly get the feeling that you have to leave the table quickly once you've finished eating. I do not recommend this place.

26/10/2026: Hello, I came with my family on a Sunday despite the crowds and somewhat complicated service. Morgane was attentive, took the time to help us order with a smile, and was very attentive to the children, offering candy and balloons and directing them to the children's corner, showing them that there were books and coloring activities. Thank you to the team at the McDonald's in La Réole for this always warm welcome, and a big thank you to Morgane for her smile, her hospitality, and her professionalism towards the other customers.

07/10/2026: Yesterday I wanted to eat at 2:15 PM. I was served cold, hard fries. I reported the problem, and a manager told me they were overwhelmed with customers. I walked around the shop; there were only two customers, myself and one other person. I told him, "If you're overwhelmed with two customers, you're kidding me." Such an attitude is deplorable.

11/10/2026: We were looking for a change in cuisine and stumbled on this restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise. A very warm welcome by the new owner, 4 months in business. The food was fantastic and the owner was very keen on details making sure everything was satisfying to our taste. On question of "How much did you spend per person" our plates were 15 to 20 euros except for the Osso Buco my daughter ordered was 25,90 euros and was fantastic. Our check for 4 dinners with wine was 104,90 euros a great value. Great job by the entire team.

03/10/2026: Avoid this place! This restaurant doesn't listen to its customers and refuses to accept criticism. Look at older reviews that express the same feelings. It's necessary to set the record straight regarding your response: Missing information about the ribeye steak: It is nowhere stated that the ribeye steak on the menu is meant to be shared. Other older reviews on your page already point this out. Furthermore, the meat served was excessively fatty and contained a disproportionate amount of bone compared to the edible portion (as shown in the attached photos). Goodwill gesture and apple juice: The glass of apple juice wasn't charged out of pure generosity, but simply because the apple juice included in the unlimited drink deal was never actually served to us. Attitude and Team Management: Regarding your lack of consideration, when we pointed out the inconsistencies with the manager, she dismissed the issue by contemptuously explaining that the employees were newly hired, didn't yet know how things worked, and were "just regular employees." When we suggested she call the servers to confirm our statements, she categorically refused to speak with them. It is precisely this refusal and behavior that demonstrate the bad faith and condescension we denounced.

02/10/2026: There were two of us that day, and we had a wonderful time. We're from the area, so we know a little about the traditions of our good old cider houses. The rib-eye steak was excellent, perfectly cooked, the charcuterie very good, and the welcome was pleasant. And since it seems we need to mention it: sagardoa, Basque cider, is something you either love or hate. Tastes are subjective. But when you come to the Basque Country on holiday and walk into a traditional cider house, the least you can do is perhaps learn a little about what a sagardotegi is and the traditions that go with it. Basque cider isn't Breton cider, and that's precisely the point! 😄 It's drier, more rustic, with its own characteristics and, above all, a real story behind it. You might not like it, no problem. But criticizing a Basque cider house for serving Basque cider is rather odd. The same goes for the ribeye steak: in this kind of establishment, prime cuts are meant to be shared. The bone is part of the meat, and that's hardly a surprise when you order a ribeye. So, to tourists visiting our region: enjoy yourselves, discover our products and traditions. And if you're unfamiliar with them, do some research before your vacation. 😉 As for us, we have no complaints: we'll gladly return. 🌶️🥩🍏

27/09/2026: We came for lunch, just the two of us. The setting is lovely with its view of the harbor, and we received a very warm welcome from the entire team. We ordered two cocktails, which were delicious and perfectly balanced. The homemade cuisine, from the main course to the dessert, is excellent. A very good restaurant that I highly recommend. For the daily specials and desserts, arrive early if you want a good selection, as there may not be everything available towards the end of service.

19/10/2026: I was there during the riots in Paris when the jewelry store right across the street was being looted and vandalized. The staff were amazing and supported us as much as possible. Also I can add that the food lacked salt, which wasn't on the table, but at that moment, food was definitely the last thing on our minds.
