23/07/2026: Excellent crêperie. Tony is very professional and passionate about his product. However, his colleague is a disaster. He doesn't like customers. We will gladly return when Tony is there.

20/07/2026: This kind and friendly gentleman from Sri Lanka served us a delicious, crispy, and warm cheese and mushroom crepe with two tempting spicy sauces and a spiced chicken sandwich with vegetables. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the conversation with him.

The cheapest and testiest wine. not highest wuality, but average very very good wine. feel like local atmosphere. we paid 2-3 times (exactly) more in other more fancy places in Annecy but this place was wat much better in case if wine then others. want to drink? come here :)

12/09/2026: This inn is falling apart, and the positive reviews are questionable. A €42 set menu plus extras for only bland, uninteresting dishes! The menu is very pretentious but completely unsuitable for the poor quality of the food. A huge disappointment, and the bill was hefty. Avoid this place!

25/08/2026: I highly and sincerely recommend it. I'm 53 years old and honestly, I've never eaten such good waffles. I decided to get some to go, along with some homemade crepes, to please my daughter-in-law, and they were amazing! Since she lives in Montpellier and we visit her once or twice a year, we'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place 🥰 The service was also truly excellent, with smiling, kind staff. Go check them out, you won't regret it 😉🥰

20/10/2026: Lunch on Monday, October 19th. Strange place... The waiter didn't even take off his headphones to take our order, and he held out his hand for us to clear our dishes... Furthermore, he had trouble understanding what we were ordering (probably because of the headphones), and completely messed up the dessert, but served us the most expensive one (a €10 "gourmet coffee"). Not wanting to make a fuss, and considering how much he'd spent, we kept the dessert, which significantly increased the bill. The food was clearly bought from Metro; the dishes were very ordinary, lacking in flavor, and the dessert was mediocre. I don't even know if he realized we'd chosen a set menu; the price was completely unjustified...

15/10/2026: The tapas were really mediocre… The waiter made a mistake by giving us two tapas we hadn't ordered, insisting we keep the second one… we thought it would be free… He charged us full price for it… his sense of customer service needs improvement… As for courtesy, the waiter was taciturn, alternating between snorting and laughing (because we're just too funny). As for the atmosphere, no complaints, we had a great time, but not because of the bar itself, just because we were telling some outlandish stories (no rap, but worth mentioning).

16/10/2026: Efficient service with a pleasant waiter. A complete daily menu for under €15 with generous, high-quality homemade dishes. Chicken rillettes, cod brandade, lemon tart. Don't change a thing! An experience to repeat.

14/09/2026: ⚠️ Warning: Extreme tourist trap and billing error! We stopped at this café for a quick breakfast before visiting the Eiffel Tower – a huge mistake. We ordered: 2 coffees (1 café au lait, 1 cappuccino) in medium size (normal cup size), 2 croissants, and 1 omelette royale (ham, cheese, mushrooms, onions) in normal size for a hefty €21.00. When we went to pay, we were shocked: the bill came to €57.00! After doing the math ourselves, we realized the total was completely wrong and we had been overcharged by €7.50. Only after asking did we learn that a single, ordinary coffee costs an unbelievable €11.00 here. Even without the server's "calculation error," almost €50 for two coffees, two croissants, and an omelette is pure extortion. Here, the proximity to the Eiffel Tower is shamelessly exploited to fleece unsuspecting tourists. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended. Instead, walk a few streets further into the side streets – there you'll pay fair prices and receive honest service!

14/09/2026: Unfortunately, this was an extremely disappointing experience and, in our opinion, a classic tourist trap. We ordered a medium cappuccino, a medium café au lait, two croissants, and an omelet with ham, cheese, and onions. Initially, we were charged over €57 for this. Only after we disputed the bill did we receive a €7 refund. Apparently, the waiter had made a mistake or charged the wrong table. But even the corrected price was completely exorbitant: €11 each for a cappuccino and a café au lait. These were simply normal, larger cups of coffee—nothing that would even remotely justify such a price. High prices are to be expected in the immediate vicinity of the Eiffel Tower. However, we found this pricing and the initial incorrect billing outrageous. We cannot recommend Bistrot de la Tour Eiffel.

03/06/2026: We have stayed at this hotel several times a year for many years. We noticed a decline in the cleanliness of the room and several shortcomings, which we politely mentioned to the receptionist (not to complain, but to point them out). She even offered us breakfast and a free tourist tax as compensation. She also explained that two of the three cleaning staff were on leave and that they were training new staff, which might explain these minor inconveniences. We hope our comments will help them regain their 5-star rating for the room and services, which we have no doubt they will! 😁
