29/06/2026: A visit with a bitter taste, the food was not up to par, a Milanese escalope of poor quality, barely tender, 2 rolls of salad and fries, the waiters were friendly, a tarpaulin on the terrace was not working, we were told no problem, the sun will set in 15 minutes, apart from the location, the rest will not remain a good experience, it's a shame.

10/05/2026: Here both dogs and guests are very well looked after. Great service all the way. So I stayed an extra day Large outdoor areas where the dogs could really stretch out after a long journey. Lovely food, accommodating all the way no matter what 👌👍🇨🇵❤️

08/04/2026: This restaurant owner won't let me use his restroom, even though I spend ten hours a day in my taxi, which can be really tough at times. He's not very welcoming, and his food is very expensive. When I tried to get to the restroom, I saw Picard packaging in the kitchen, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the quality of the food.

08/05/2026: Excellent neighborhood brasserie. Friendly, family atmosphere. Very good value for money, generous portions. They can adapt the dishes if you don't eat meat, for example. The salt cod brandade is superb on Fridays. Lunch orders can be placed until 2:30 pm. Be aware that it's often full by noon. Well worth a visit.

21/06/2026: Waited about 30 minutes for probably the grossest iced tea I’ve ever had. Ordered food and asked for it to go and was returned by extremely rude remarks, very understaffed and lots of complaining from other customers about ridiculous wait times and horrible customer service. Not to mention that the prices here are RIDICULOUS for absolute mediocre food and small portions. Please save your time and do not fall for this tourist trap scam of a cafe.

14/06/2026: Really bad customer service. I spilled my (6.50 euros!!) flat white because their lid is really hard to fit on, and they refused to give me a new one. It’s a classic type of Mont-Martre tourist trap, they have so many passers-by that they don’t care about repeated customers or any type of traditional service to be expected in a professional cafe. They don’t need to, it’s filled with tourists that makes 99% of their clientele. Just good at taking the money.

25/11/2025: A wonderful discovery, made entirely by chance. The restaurant was almost full on a Tuesday lunchtime, which was very reassuring. The set menu was €17.50 (starter, main course, and dessert), with generous and beautifully presented portions—exactly what was needed for customers heading back to work. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The setting was pleasant and very clean. Well done, keep it up!

07/06/2026: I live in Belgium and every time I go through France, I look for a La Mie Câline chain because of their cookies. I love them, I buy a lot because I know I'll eat them in a year. They absolutely must open a chain in Belgium! 🙏💕

05/07/2026: Since the sale, the pizzas don't taste the same at all; the crust is thinner, and the pizzas are overcooked. I can't find the flavors that used to draw me to the previous owner's place. I'll give it a few more chances to try it again, but if it stays like this, I won't come back.

05/07/2026: July 2026. The long-time owner, Olivier, has left, handing the reins to a new proprietor. What made Olivier's pizzas so special was that you couldn't find that extraordinary taste and flavor anywhere else in the region. And I've tried my fair share of pizzerias! Most seem to be copies of copies, while Olivier's were succulent and inimitable. So I decided to try the new team. They deserve a chance, and perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised. The service was impeccable, very professional, as was the cooking. The problem is, unfortunately, that I found those standardized pizzas, just like all the others. What a shame... After more than 20 years at Lou Fougau, those unique flavors are gone, replaced by products that all taste the same, with cheese that's browned instead of melted. Olivier, we'll miss you so much!

26/07/2026: We booked a table to try this establishment for the first time. The pastries served were of very good quality and in a more than sufficient quantity to share between two people. However, we were quite disappointed by the service and had to ask one of the passing waiters for a table so we could finally order our drinks. I asked if it was possible to exchange the tea for a fruit juice included in the set menu, but this was flatly refused, even though the fruit juice was listed as 50 cents cheaper than the iced tea I ordered. We arrived at 4 pm and from 5:30 pm onwards, we were interrupted three times to be cleared of our plates and asked to pay because they were closing at 6 pm. Taking payment seems fine to me, but removing the three-tiered tray that serves as the entire tea time display at 5:30 pm detracts from the experience, in my opinion. However, people on the street were very impressed by the tea time and smiled at us, so the experience was appealing, but the service's diplomacy needs improvement. The waitress apologized for having to take our payment, which was appreciated.

25/07/2026: A truly beautiful place, especially the terrace, which is absolutely charming. The staff stood out for their kindness; they made our visit very pleasant and never made us feel rushed to leave, even though we lingered quite a while. And finally, the pastries were delicious. I highly recommend the afternoon tea option, which offers the chance to sample almost the entire range of pastries and drinks at an unbeatable price. We will definitely be back!
