07/07/2026: The most underrated African restaurant in the Gironde. Incredible shrimp, very good braised fish. Fresh ginger juice with a hint of anise or something similar that gives it a very pleasant, fresh dimension. The Tiep rice is very good. However, yes, the interior isn't exactly inspiring, but the service is friendly, and for me, the most important thing is what's on the plate. The value for money of the lunch menu is more than fair. Personally, I had a lovely time and left feeling satisfied.

26/07/2026: I've been several times since the change of ownership, and it's always the same story: an interminable wait. Be prepared to wait to be served; you have to wait until they finish their drinks or cigarettes. They're overwhelmed with very little, and there's always a wait, even to pay. The waitress told us to complain to the owners because she's fed up with the customers' frustration. Opening a bar isn't primarily about having fun, but a Saturday night with events happening right outside their terrace deserved a bit more effort from them. All the tables next to us were complaining, and meanwhile, the owners were off getting peanuts for themselves. I won't be back. 20 minutes to pay was the last straw.

02/06/2026: Excellent quality course, with an interesting and varied layout, alternating between a fairly wide outward leg and a narrower return through the woods that demands precision. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The grounds team does a great job. Well done! This golf course deserves to be better known.

19/07/2026: This is my 5th time coming and there's never anything available... The three burgers are practically fighting it out at 7:30 pm... Not even a kids' menu. Anyway, I don't live 5 minutes away, I won't be coming back to find out.

17/07/2026: I paid €90.15 and didn't receive my entire order. It wasn't crowded. I'm missing one Quick 'n Toast and one Giant sandwich. This is absolutely unacceptable. This isn't the first time, and I won't be going back. If you don't order item by item, you're not operating properly. I'm very angry with you. You can say you're somewhere between a clown and a king, but you're no better. Sincerely,

11/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Sicilienne. We always receive a very warm welcome. The pizzas are excellent, especially the calzone. It's hard to choose from the menu! The Casa salad is delicious and generous, with smoked ham, fresh goat cheese, salad, and tomatoes. The service is quick. The tiramisu is a gem! We often stop in Châlons to eat at this restaurant.

02/07/2026: I had come to share a nice meal with friends when the owner started verbally abusing a waitress, apparently his partner. He was obnoxious and rude, making us feel very uncomfortable. We were embarrassed for the poor woman; you don't behave like that in front of customers. If I hadn't been with friends, I would have left the restaurant immediately, paying for our drinks. This man is truly unpleasant, never a smile. I will never return to this restaurant; I have very bad memories of it. If I could give it zero stars, I would gladly do so. Mr. Owner, show some respect for your staff, without whom you wouldn't be able to do anything, and for your customers as well.

21/04/2026: We ordered two full meals. The waiter forgot a starter but immediately served the daily special (it happens, but still, no apology). The ribeye steak wasn't cooked as requested and was quite tough (lots of bits). It would have been nice if they'd offered us coffee for the forgotten starter. There were no details on the bill. I hope they make better pizzas. We won't be going back!

20/04/2026: Excellent for the price. Quantity and quality. They don't skimp on the quantity. Very good.

30/06/2026: I've ordered several times and been disappointed, even though I was a loyal customer. There are always significant delays (20 to 50 minutes), and the supposedly normal pizza sizes are tiny. I'm very disappointed and won't be going back.

29/07/2026: Delicious bread, no complaints there. I'm just going to grumble because this morning the door was closed and, as usual, there was no information on the door because, I suppose, they're closed for the holidays. Would it break your hand to indicate your holiday dates?

25/07/2026: The mussels are so small and difficult to open that you practically have to search for them on your plate... There was no seating on the terrace, and less than five minutes later, once we were seated, other customers (without reservations) were being seated on the terrace... We had to constantly ask for water or bread... In short, we were so excited to eat mussels, but we were disappointed one after another. I do not recommend it.

17/03/2026: Excellent couscous, served quickly, generous portions, and piping hot. The oriental pastries are delicious. The only downside is that you feel a bit alone in the dining room, but the decor is lovely; it's like traveling without leaving home! 😁

12/03/2026: In my opinion, the best couscous in the Haute-Savoie region! The portions are generous, the semolina fragrant, the vegetables simmered beautifully, and the meat tender. Best value for money. I come back regularly and have already converted everyone I know!
