20/06/2026: I used to get a large coffee for €2.50. I already find that pricey, especially when it's just a coffee machine; you just have to press a button. Imagine my surprise this morning when I discovered that the price of a large coffee had gone up by €1, now €3.50! Seriously?! Stop treating me like a cash cow! 😡

31/08/2026: The server put the wrong sauce on my sandwich, and when I pointed it out, he claimed he'd told me twice, but because of the loud music, I didn't hear what he said. Instead of acknowledging my mistake, I had to pay for my sandwich with the sauce I hadn't ordered.

05/10/2026: A small, traditional cafe next to the village square. All the locals meet here for coffee or pastis. A must-visit. Thumbs up!

03/08/2026: We were disappointed with our meal; the food was completely off-topic and needed to be cooked again. We had to ask for cutlery, bread, water, wipes for the seafood, etc., and there was also a long wait.

03/08/2026: Dinner for two one evening without a reservation. The waiters were welcoming and friendly. A set menu for €24.90...very generous portions, excellent mussels, and exquisite sea bream. Crème brûlée for dessert. Honestly, very good. Highly recommended.

10/07/2026: We were very pleasantly surprised by our meal. The welcome was friendly, even an hour before closing time. There was a great selection of dishes. They were all absolutely delicious, I highly recommend it!

25/08/2026: The waiter was incompetent and unpleasant; we waited two hours for an aperitif and two pizzas, and we skipped dessert. What a shame!

19/08/2026: On vacation. Ate here twice on a very charming little square. The service was very nice and friendly. My command of French isn't perfect, and neither is their English, but together you always manage to work things out ;) The pizzas were truly delicious, and the pastas wonderful! Highly recommended if you are in the area :)

19/09/2026: After the change of ownership, we were hoping for the same atmosphere, but this time we felt we had to separate the servers who were shouting at each other. Unfriendly, sour, and they made mistakes with our orders. And tonight we tried again, after waiting for more than 15 minutes, no one came to see us, not a hello, not a glance, and they were very unpleasant on the phone. (We had made a reservation, though.) We left at the same time as six other customers who had also been waiting for a while. And be warned, they don't allow dogs.

05/09/2026: We arrived this morning for our holiday and went there completely by chance. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The pizza was delicious and generously topped. This pizzeria is worth the detour; go there with complete confidence.

16/10/2026: We made a reservation at the restaurant one day in advance. However, upon arrival, the staff were impolite and unprofessional in the way they spoke to us. We sat at our table for more than 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our order, despite asking the staff several times. They were standing around playing on their mobile phones and seemed to deliberately ignore our requests to place an order. During this time, other customers arrived and were treated in the same manner. Due to the extremely poor service and unacceptable treatment, we were left with no choice but to leave the restaurant. We had reserved a table at the restaurant the day before. However, upon our arrival, the staff were impolite and unprofessional in the way they spoke to us. We remained seated at our table for more than 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our order, despite several requests to the staff. The employees were standing around playing on their mobile phones and seemed to deliberately ignore our requests to place an order. Meanwhile, other customers arrived and received the same treatment. Due to the very poor quality of service and this unacceptable behavior, we were forced to leave the restaurant.

25/08/2026: What a shame that such a lovely place, ideally located at the foot of the slopes, is marred by such poor service. My husband and I stopped by simply for a snack and to enjoy the surroundings. Unfortunately, we were greeted in an extremely cold and unpleasant manner: no smiles, no friendliness, our order practically placed in front of us as if we were intruding. The waffle was served on a small plate, without cutlery, with just a napkin. The coffee was really not good either. As for the prices, we paid €11 for a coffee, a waffle with jam, and a small bottle of Cristaline water, which cost €3. Beyond the price, it was the attitude that disappointed us most. When you run an establishment in such a touristy and beautiful location as Alpe d'Huez, a minimum of smiles, politeness, and consideration for customers seems essential. I prefer not to draw any conclusions about why we were received in this way, but the contrast between this beautiful place and the attitude of the person who served us is truly regrettable. A very bad experience for us, and we will not be returning. And we certainly do not recommend it!

18/08/2026: A nice place where we just had a drink. Friendly and warm welcome. An ideal spot for a drink after a downhill run on a tricycle...or mountain bike.
