04/05/2026: We opened the season at this magnificent place. The superior room on the top floor is tastefully decorated. Nothing luxurious, but authentic. A family-run inn with a soul. The bedding is very comfortable. Breakfast was generous, with an excellent homemade lemon cake. We had dinner there, an exceptional experience in terms of both flavor and presentation. From the appetizer to dessert, everything was perfect. Neither too heavy nor too rich, the young chef, who greeted the diners as he went from table to table, shared his impressive background with us. He speaks about his cuisine with love and passion. I don't want to spoil the menu, but I must mention the Grandma's fresh cheese fritters—a pure delight. The staff is extraordinarily kind and attentive, reflecting the owners' warm welcome. You feel like part of the family. We were completely won over and highly recommend a stay. We will be back…

07/07/2026: The meal itself was fine. However, the waitresses' friendliness leaves much to be desired. They were cold, unfriendly, and curt in their responses, with an annoying air that was off-putting. In larger groups, it was clear this displeased them. It's a shame, it spoils everything. They shouldn't only be friendly to regular customers. Another minor issue: I found pieces of plastic in the ice cream (two desserts). I mentioned it when paying, and the cashier's response was unbelievable: "Oh, probably me when I opened the container this morning!" No apology or gesture of goodwill. Apparently, this is normal. So, disappointing and unprofessional for a well-known and reputable establishment.

07/05/2026: Excellent welcome. The fairways and greens are fine. The roughs, however, are really high. You have to hit straight here! If the roughs aren't eating your balls, you can count on the numerous water hazards to take care of that. The golf course is next to Madame de Sévigné's château and a pond and dam. The walk around the pond is very pleasant.

06/05/2026: This golf course is still a lovely place to walk, however, the manager should have opted for a smile; the welcome was far from ideal, very cold and haughty. As for the upkeep, it's average, but let's be honest, the weather doesn't help.

15/03/2026: Passing through Limoges, we were drawn in by the "unusual" storefront. Once inside, we weren't disappointed: a relaxed atmosphere and a fantastic team. Special mention to Célia, the queen of the shooters!

11/10/2026: Several visits to the McDonald's in Wattrelos, and it's always the same: endless waits, staff calmly enjoying their coffee while customers wait to pay, and systematic errors in orders. Between forgotten items, poorly prepared food, and even a meal where the chicken was as hard as a brick, one really wonders how this establishment can operate like this. The staff is extremely unpleasant, to the point that I ask myself a simple question: Is there a manager present every day? And if so, are they as unpleasant as their team or simply incapable of doing their job? I also question the health inspections: are they actually carried out? I waited before leaving this review, but after several visits, it was time to speak up. I sincerely hope that a manager or the communications department of the Wattrelos McDonald's comes across this comment. It's time to review your staff, your team leader, and the overall quality of service.

10/10/2026: I do not recommend this McDonald's for the drive-thru. Too many mistakes with orders. You have to queue again, they ask for justification, the person has to see their manager, etc. Unprofessional, inefficient, and time-consuming. Three order problems in five visits; the math doesn't add up.

28/09/2026: I'll start with the positives: the staff was friendly and I received good service. Now for the rest... I paid 21 euros for grilled ham with Comté cheese sauce! Why not, I guess? It's in the city center, it's a tourist trap, it's expensive, but okay. The Comté cheese sauce was sliced, the ham was nothing special, and the side dish was a pint of wilted button mushrooms, sweet potato, and overcooked potatoes with extra oil, along with a lovely pan of wrinkled zucchini (almost early October). A mediocre dish at a price that should reflect real culinary expertise (apart from the 8-12 salads and other dishes on offer, there are only 4 main courses). In short, awful.

19/09/2026: It's hard to give an opinion. We wanted to eat at a nice table, but there were only two of us, so we were invited to the only table for two, in the passageway at the end of the terrace—the best spot for dogs. Surely that empty terrace was waiting for dozens of couples... Anyway, two wasted meals.

28/09/2026: A very pleasant discovery during my visit to Strasbourg. The atmosphere is lovely, and the tarte flambée is excellent for a very reasonable price compared to others in the city and elsewhere. The spaetzle is also delicious! The servers are friendly. However, the place is a bit noisy. And I was disappointed with my "café gourmand" because I was told it would include a profiterole and a scoop of ice cream, but instead, I received a plate with mascarpone cream and a tiny piece of warm apple cake... I wasn't expecting that.

28/09/2026: The sauerkraut was good, but not exceptional. The strudel was very good. The service was quick and coordinated despite the large group, which was a big plus.

04/09/2026: It had been a long time since our last visit, and we were delighted, just like the first time, by the quality of the sushi, the meats, the rice. We were always warmly welcomed, and we will gladly return!

25/08/2026: We came on a Monday for lunch, fifteen minutes before noon, and ordered a boat for two. The service was impeccable despite the number of customers; the waitress was attentive, smiling, and incredibly fast. The food was really good, the side dishes as well-prepared as the main courses. The minced pork skewers are amazing! It's a shame we live too far away to come back more often. I highly recommend it!

21/06/2026: I ordered a cake for my mother's birthday, a mille-feuille for 8 people. It was very good, I recommend it.

18/04/2026: Pastries are a feast for the eyes and the taste buds.

30/07/2026: I mainly go there to drop off and pick up parcels, where everything runs very smoothly with three lockers (InPost, La Poste, Vinted) and other services for other carriers. The smoothies are excellent, and the cakes and open-faced sandwiches are really good, although the vegan option is preferable. Furthermore, the extended opening hours are a real plus!

24/06/2026: Kudos to the lady who greets and helps with dropping off packages, a 10/10! And the drinks are great!

09/10/2026: Friendly welcome, good products too, but the shop has been closed since the beginning of August, with no sign announcing its reopening. Even before this summer, the opening hours were unfortunately very erratic, never matching the times displayed or listed on Google. What a shame.

15/05/2026: Not bad, but way too expensive for what it is. The products are average quality at a slightly excessive price, but hey, we're practically in the Marais district, so maybe they can get away with these kinds of prices 😔 Update May 15, 2026 A week ago, I bought some Scarmozza cheese because it was available near my place! The guy started to take one and then changed his mind (I remember it very well). He gave me another one without asking when I planned to eat it. Except it expired 4 days later! I wasn't paying attention, and bam, right on May 12th, mold! I hadn't even opened the package, and I still haven't opened it to take this picture for you!! He sold me a Scarmozza that expires like 2 days later 🤢 It's a disgrace... I hope there will be some karma coming back to haunt them very soon! RUN AWAY!
