25/09/2026: A very pleasant, understated, and welcoming dining room. A beautiful setting with a perfect ambiance. Good service, though sometimes a little overbearing. Unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the setting. It looks good, but it doesn't taste good. The foie gras had a strange texture and wasn't very pleasant to eat. The raw vegetable salad was overly vinegary and lacked subtlety. The beef medallion was tough, and the side dish was uninspired. The seafood duo, promising surprising and complex flavors on the menu, was completely absent from the dish: plain white rice and very classic vegetables, no sauce, no herbaceous flavors, etc. Disappointing. We skipped dessert. It's a shame; the place deserves better.

05/09/2026: We celebrated my partner's 80th birthday with children and grandchildren. Everyone loved it, the setting was superb, we were very happy and plan to return.

18/09/2026: The waitress was friendly and polite, and the welcome was pleasant. The display was well-presented, and the outdoor tables were clean and well-maintained, which was a plus. Overall, good value for money. One small drawback, however: some of the ice creams were a little bland, which was a shame. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch for my dog ​​🐶: a bowl of water was brought to him as soon as we sat down. A simple but very thoughtful gesture! 🥰

26/09/2026: For over 30 years, this has been a place of conviviality, which the system wants to take away from us. For all the new residents of La Ciotat, or those just passing through, if you didn't come just for the scenery, you owe it to yourself to make the detour! This isn't a tourist trap! You'll have the chance to taste Provençal dishes, home-cooked meals (which are increasingly rare), and perhaps you'll realize that if they take it away, they'll take away a part of our very essence. 17/07/2026: We started out as an aperitif, and then stopped for dinner. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. Service was prompt, both for drinks and food. The price was in line with other places in the area. Recommended!

08/08/2026: There were five of us, and due to a staffing issue, we were asked to come back 30 minutes later. We did so and received a very warm welcome. The food was healthy. The prices were a bit high for simple ingredients, but that's the price you pay for good food in the center of Besançon. The Comtois galette is definitely worth the trip.

18/09/2026: We had a fantastic meal of mussels marinières with fries. The mussels were fresh and excellent, the fries perfect. The waiter was under pressure and very busy, but still served us attentively and kindly. We'll gladly come back.

31/08/2026: Unfortunately, I can only give one star for the food because we never had the chance to try it. 2 PM: "We're not making crepes anymore." 6 PM: "We're not making crepes anymore." We wondered if they ever would... At 6:30 PM, the chairs were already being put away even though closing time was 8 PM. In short, the service was particularly cold and unwelcoming. On the other hand, if there was one thing that was quick, it was the payment... A disappointing experience from beginning to end.

29/08/2026: The portions are tiny, especially considering the price... €38 to feel even remotely full. No salad or mint was included with the spring rolls. No complimentary shrimp chips were offered.

25/08/2026: It says it's open on Google, but I get to the restaurant and it's closed. So it's not open. Where am I going to eat my delicious sushi? Seriously, this is ridiculous! I'm so disappointed. I was really craving seaweed salad. I'll settle for a pizza, but I'm not going to give up. I'll come back in a few weeks to eat sushi at this restaurant because it's the best. Also, I'm going to the hairdresser tomorrow. Have a good evening everyone :)

01/08/2026: This was our first time at this sushi bar, which had been highly recommended. We stayed for two hours and only received one order and a very small portion of the second. After two hours, the waitress told us they had served another table with our orders and that we wouldn't be receiving the rest. We had to wait even longer for them to reprepare our orders and take them away because we had to leave for work. It's a shame because, for an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant, the food is actually quite good.

19/08/2026: I've been eating there about once a week for the past 10 years. Eat in or takeaway. Impeccable taste. Never gotten sick despite a documented stomach issue. Warm welcome. Only downside: too small, too old, too ugly. That doesn't stop customers queuing when two other Chinese takeaways less than 50 meters away are empty (I tried them: yuck!).
