06/07/2026: The food wasn't good. The Peking duck was okay. The Vietnamese nougat was fine. The fried rice was average. The chicken skewers were disgusting. But the cherros were great!

19/06/2026: Avoid the Lotus Platter appetizer; you get two fried ravioli, two shrimp fritters, two shrimp wrapped in spring rolls, and two small spring rolls for the modest sum of 18 euros!!! And stir-fried noodles as a side dish, like spaghetti with nothing else, dry, for 7 euros!!! Go somewhere else; it's practically robbery.

01/07/2026: We are a group of 10 people who received a very warm welcome at the restaurant. The staff is truly professional, courteous, and attentive. They were able to accommodate our requests and were very flexible. The food is delicious at a reasonable price, the place is nicely decorated and quiet. We will definitely return and thank them again warmly for their hospitality.

20/06/2026: I've been to this bakery several times. Despite the often dirty restrooms, the numerous fruit flies while eating, and what I find disappointing value for money, I kept going back mainly because it was the only bakery in Lille I knew with a space large enough to sit down and work. I should clarify that it's not the price that bothers me: I regularly frequent establishments where the prices are equivalent, or even higher, but where the service is impeccable and the quality of the products fully justifies the price. The impression is that everything is done to cut costs as much as possible, at the expense of service quality and customer comfort. Yesterday, a young woman with light, wavy hair spoke to me in a particularly aggressive and unpleasant manner. At first, I was shocked by the way she spoke to me. After a few seconds, I realized it was the same employee who had spoken to me very inappropriately several months earlier. This time, I decided not to let the situation go and asked her why she was speaking to me that way. Instead of answering, she became even more aggressive. I simply pointed out that the situation was going way too far and that there was clearly a problem with how she spoke to customers. The tone escalated, and she ended up insulting me. Unbelievable. It was impossible to speak to a manager. I do, however, thank Melissa (short, with dark hair), who tried to calm things down and completely understood the problem. She explained that she and the other employee were tired and in the middle of exams. I don't consider that a valid excuse, especially since it was the second time. Many students and young people in France, myself included, work year-round while pursuing their studies, often experiencing fatigue and stress, yet they do not gratuitously disrespect those they serve. Never again.

20/06/2026: First experience eating lunch there. Very good value for money for the sandwich, drink, and dessert deal.

09/06/2026: A disgrace. The Long Fish arrived cold, the salad was soggy, the bun was hard, and the taste was questionable. It tasted like a day-old burger. I couldn't finish the meal, it was so bad. I strongly advise against going there.

07/06/2026: The manager was unpleasant; he refused to exchange my long-stemmed shepherd's chicken for a long-stemmed one, even though my niece and nephew had a €53 menu. He replied, "I don't care, you'll have to pay for another shepherd's chicken."

28/07/2026: The only cafe open at the railway station at 10am. Inside can be hot but the cool terrace outside is almost entirely inhabited by chain smokers, none of whom appeared to have a drink. To be fair, a cheerful little place but for the cloying thick smoke.

24/07/2026: There are still as many drug dealers as ever, whether you go by the tobacco shop or the bar, they'll try to sell you something right away. It's the same inside; forget about the terrace 😨

26/07/2026: The place has changed, and for the worse. The food still lives up to expectations, but the waitstaff quickly becomes overwhelmed as soon as the customers arrive. On our last two visits, we waited almost an hour between our appetizers and main courses, without a word from the servers who were running around aimlessly. Worse still, on our last night, the waiter noticed we had finished our meals, moved on to another table, and left us standing there for half an hour before returning to fetch the wine bucket, without a word of explanation or a smile. Needless to say, we gave up on dessert, which we were quite tempted by, but faced with the waiter's curt response when it came time to pay, after we went to the till to save him further unnecessary trips, only to have the receipt refused due to an internet problem, without a goodbye or a thank you… I think this is the last time we'll go to this establishment. At least the view of the cape is free, and you don't need to book a table to enjoy it.

25/07/2026: Enchanting place, sea view. Aperitifs are available on the walls. Excellent cuisine and excellent, friendly service. The bouillabaisse was delicious! We really had a great time.

12/07/2026: Very disappointed, we asked for water with syrup, I could barely taste the syrup, the water was hot and came from the tap with an aftertaste, large sticky spoons were put in our glasses, the glasses were sticky and on top of that the waiters were haughty… frankly one of my worst experiences in a cafe… I will never go back!

13/07/2026: I went to lunch at this establishment a few days ago with a friend and we ordered a €16 set menu. What a disappointment! There were very few vegetables, very little couscous, and, most importantly, a merguez sausage with a small meatball, accompanied by a very hard dessert and a coffee. We left feeling unsatisfied, and as a result, we won't be going back.

22/05/2026: Paid for food online and it said it was preparing food and was open. Walked there to find it was closed with nobody in sight. Also charged me for food already.

11/05/2026: As regular Domino's customers, we were disappointed by the menu change. The Domino's fries (excellent) have been replaced by low-quality, industrial fries (undercooked to boot) for the same price??? The wings were also ridiculously small. The pizza was still great, but that was the only positive thing about our order. The staff were as lovely as ever, so keep up the good work!

11/11/2025: It's impossible to make a reservation at this restaurant. When you call, you get a recorded message giving the opening hours and asking you to book online, but you can't get through to anyone on the phone. And on the website, it's impossible to book. You can't even select the Ecully location. How are you supposed to reserve a table for 12 people?!

28/10/2025: I ate with a friend today, and the waitress was grumpy. What's more, there were two peas in the measure. The table next to us had some older people, and while she spoke calmly, she was condescending and rude to us from the beginning of the service. We wanted the all-you-can-eat mussels menu, and at the end of the second seating, she cleared everything away and told us in a very rude voice that there wasn't any left. And I paid for the all-you-can-eat menu, and it's not the first time I've been there, and it's the first time an employee has spoken so rudely.

05/07/2026: The staff are very unpleasant. A restaurant where you have to pay before you eat is already a bad sign.
