21/08/2026: The "convivial" place is a joke! We've rarely eaten such a bad pizza! Very little topping, cheap ham, and five tiny mushrooms on a Margherita! Undoubtedly industrial dough... Avoid this place, or if you're really craving pizza, go to a supermarket...

16/08/2026: At first glance, it doesn't look like much, but in the end, there's a wide selection of pizzas at affordable prices, a warm welcome, and very good topped pizzas. I highly recommend it, and don't rely on the old reviews. Judge for yourself; you won't regret it.

21/05/2026: Unfortunately, we can't give less than one star! The service and welcome were appalling. Bagged salad, frozen fries, and JP Chenet wine that costs €1.50 in stores—they practically serve you cheap wine in a plastic bottle! The atmosphere is austere, the premises outdated. In short, I've never seen an establishment like it! However, there were no problems at all with the bill!

19/08/2026: Good evening. My experience was that as soon as I arrived, I saw the filthy white chairs—filthy beyond filthy—and don't even get me started on the black ones! I'm not usually a clean freak, but wow! It's a shame because the setting is very pleasant, and the young waiter didn't seem to know what he was doing there, but he did his best, which is what made us stay. Apart from that, I liked it.

20/03/2026: Excellent value for money, quiet location. Good and plentiful breakfast. Easy to find, its location south of Bayonne allows you to head towards Spain without being held up by morning traffic!

15/03/2026: Overall, I had a good stay. The room was generally pleasant. A minor point for improvement: the shower head could be checked, and adding a shower curtain would be helpful to prevent splashes in the bathroom. Thank you to Lola for her warm welcome and understanding at reception.

25/08/2026: Very disappointed. Three frozen pizzas were pointless. Sure, it must be the cheapest restaurant around, but frozen? I don't recommend it.

30/07/2026: A very warm welcome, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and the price was reasonable.

28/09/2026: Surprised not to see more negative reviews… We came one evening in August and the experience was disastrous. Around us, glances were exchanged with other tables, incredulous at what was being served. Now, potato pancakes are no longer on the menu, even though they were one of the specialties that defined this establishment, and no real alternative was offered. The portions are very small and the quality of the ingredients is clearly no longer there. The pâté terrine that was passed from table to table, unlimited, and which was part of the charm of the place, is also gone. It's a real shame, because we had very fond memories of this establishment. The change of ownership is a huge disappointment.

26/09/2026: I do not recommend this establishment. The set menus are overpriced considering the portion size and quality. The "frog" menu was sold out, as were many of the desserts, even though only three tables were occupied. As for the restaurant itself, the overall cleanliness is clearly lacking: cobwebs everywhere, dead flies, gnats… Given the prices, I expected a much higher level of service and cleanliness.

10/10/2026: A very good experience; we went there for a group lunch of about 30 people. The meal was served on time, the food was high quality, and the staff were very attentive. We will definitely return if we are ever back in La Rochelle.

22/09/2026: Absolutely NOT! Unfriendly staff who serve customers assembly-line style, blasé. Perhaps worn out by the end of the season. No apology anyway, or they should find another line of work. To be factual, we were greeted and invited to sit in the loggia, set back from the front of the building…without being told it was a smoking area (indoors?!). Which is exactly what happened: the smoke bothered us, because there were indeed two ashtrays in the loggia and smokers were leaving their cigarettes there, without putting them out, while they went to the restroom!!! The result: we were practically held responsible, because we were sitting there, inside!

17/09/2026: A wonderful discovery during a stroll. We were warmly welcomed by Séverine, the smiling owner, who offered us the rooftop terrace. We were quickly given the menu and our aperitifs were just as promptly taken, along with our meal order. The meal (a burger based on the chef's inspiration, a croque monsieur, and sweet potato fries) was truly delicious; everything was homemade, and it showed. Excellent value for money. In short, a fantastic experience that we will definitely repeat.

04/05/2026: Wow, the best kofte sandwich of my life! It's easily in my top three best sandwiches ever. Everything is homemade, the meat is perfectly seasoned and spiced… incredible, you have to taste it to understand! And the atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, and convivial, with zouk music playing in the background! Thank you, Refik!

19/08/2026: Falafel patty = a patty filled with salad and tomatoes, with one and a half measly falafel balls barely showing any substance. Two-meat tacos = an empty taco, lots of sauce and fries, almost no meat. Let's be honest.
