29/04/2026: Fast service, pizza was there in 10mins tops. Great food

13/04/2026: Val Burger was unfortunately not tasty at all because of the strong goat cheese flavor:( I recommend going for the Pizza in this place and not for the burgers or the chicken sandwiches! 2-3 benches outdoor for sitting. In general not the best food out there in Val Thorens, but will save you and do the job when you need that late fast food grab. *pics are from January 2026*

05/07/2026: Small casino for being in the riviera. 5 tables in the cashgame area. They got 1 started about 21.40, €5/10NL. The do 4% rake with no cap. Soooooo slow when the dealer waits until the hand is over (no during game adding the pot) to count the pot, then put the number in their software to get the 4% rake. Half the usual played hands/ hour is a waste of everyones time. Go for 5% or even 10% with a cap of €30. Speed up the game pleeease!!! And yes, I won....

26/07/2026: You have to visit this place at least once in your life! But please, put another air conditioner downstairs because it's insane in the summer. Edit: The security was top-notch, which is great.

18/06/2026: The food was decent, but the atmosphere and hygiene weren't exceptional. The waiter was friendly and dedicated, but only half understood what was going on.

18/06/2026: I bought the kothu and I was very disappointed. It was mostly just mixed with curry coloring and egg, without the usual ingredients like carrots, leeks, onions, and curry leaves. This is the worst kothu I have ever had in La Chapelle. The price was also quite high compared to the menu. For that price, I expected a proper kothu with all the ingredients and better quality.

18/05/2026: The only reason why I give this 2 stars is the ice cream that was the only good part about it. Everything else is horrible and plus the service.The guy is so mean and has an attitude

14/05/2026: The staff are quite strange; at 7 pm they say they're closing because "it's raining," even though the sign says they close at 10 pm. Depending on the person, employees may or may not serve arriving customers. The place is empty, so you have to wonder if it's actually an ice cream parlor or some other kind of establishment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

29/06/2026: Perfect for lunch as a student or for an afternoon snack. Often very crowded at lunchtime, and a bit cramped for seating. Very good.

11/07/2026: I was very disappointed with this bakery. The prices are high and, unfortunately, the quality isn't there. I tried a slice of lemon cake, which was bland and dry, as well as a cinnamon roll that was also dry and tasteless. As for the Babka brioche, which was advertised as a specialty, I found it very dry and far too sweet. On the savory side, the salmon quiche, priced at €7.90, was just okay. I've had much better elsewhere for less money. The appetizer baguette with olives wasn't even cooked enough. Finally, the service is far too slow. Another incomprehensible point: for two identical Coca-Colas, the waitress charged me €2.66 for one and €2.70 for the other. Four cents difference isn't much, but I don't understand this price difference. Ultimately, I find the value for money unsatisfactory. There are bakeries a little further away that offer better products at more reasonable prices.

05/07/2026: Nice storefront, but inflated prices inside. We agree... However, paying a higher price doesn't mean eating at a filthy table... and when you hear an elderly person shouting on a Sunday morning... that's exactly what you don't want to hear when you come here on vacation... so please make an effort with your behavior, madam.

06/08/2026: I'll keep it simple and short: the pastries are awful, completely tasteless! The staff is a disaster—you leave this place angry and upset by their behavior, and when you get home you're annoyed and disappointed to have paid so much for pastries that have no flavor! I absolutely do not recommend it!

05/08/2026: Good news: if you're looking for room fragrance, tea towels, chicken, or even a handbag, this former pastry shop is now the place for you. Less good news: if you came for the pastries, look elsewhere. Since the takeover, the quality has taken a serious hit, and so have the prices! More expensive, less good. As for the service, it's hard to imagine anything more unpleasant! In short, we're done with it; we won't be going back! The place used to have a real reputation, a real soul... Now it's just a run-of-the-mill "bakery-general store" concept.

05/04/2026: One of the best terraces in the area. Incredible view. Homemade cuisine, some meats from their own farm, homemade Myrtille and Genepi liqueurs. A truly authentic spot in Megève!

04/04/2026: We were turned away as soon as we arrived because, despite the restaurant being half empty, they refused to let us order "just" two pies and two drinks, claiming it would reduce the quality of service for customers who were eating... pathetic...

11/07/2026: I came from Saint-Étienne with my wife and daughters, unbelievable! 3 tacos and a bottle of Coca-Cola for 15 euros! The tacos were huge, excellent, very welcoming, a very pleasant, handsome young man, very polite and smiling. It was Sunday, July 5th, around 2 pm. The decor was lovely, the place was very clean, and they offered a lollipop and a small bottle of water. A big thank you to the waiter! I'll be back and I've told everyone I know!

18/07/2026: What a shame! Great location. But unfortunately, the waiter was subpar, the owner smoked cigars in the establishment, and the interior wasn't very clean...

15/07/2026: Aside from the food, it was a disappointment. It took forever for a waiter to come and take our order, then we had to ask three times about the items we'd ordered, one of which was forgotten and never arrived. And then, when we complained, the waiter was rude. That's what I call French arrogance. Very disappointing.

19/05/2026: A reputable and well-run tobacconist. The staff are competent and efficient, although the reception could be a bit warmer. It's also a shame about the €15 minimum purchase for credit cards, which is inconvenient for small purchases. Otherwise, the service is quick and satisfactory.
