15/04/2026: Catastrophic. The service was utterly disorganized. We arrived early, but many people were served and cleared before us—no logical service whatsoever. We waited an hour and a half for the set menu; it felt endless. The waiter was sluggish, the waitress overwhelmed. If it were fine dining, fine, but it's frozen food, so I can't find an excuse. Avoid at all costs.

19/07/2026: Meal in Saint-Omer. Perfect. Nice terrace. Good service. Attentive staff. I was too hot in the full sun. They set up a parasol for me and I was able to fully enjoy my meal. Thank you. Well done and keep up the good work, it's perfect. I highly recommend it. No visit to Saint-Omer is complete without having a drink.

18/06/2026: Hello, We went to Spey on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, to watch the France-Senegal match. We arrived 10 minutes before the start of the game, giving us time to settle in and chat with the first people at our table of 12. The match had already begun. At the 20-minute mark, a man named Richard aggressively ordered us to go order drinks because we were blocking other customers. I replied that we were supposed to go during the refreshment break, about 5 minutes after this interaction. This didn't go down well, and the tone escalated. This man even threatened me with gestures and comments like, "What's wrong with you?" I learned at the same time that he was the bar manager. A strange way to welcome and speak to customers, to say the least. I took the liberty of speaking with him afterward. He indicated that he was losing revenue (it's true that 12 syrups instead of alcoholic drinks and appetizer platters would have been better; too bad, that was the plan), and clearly, he wasn't willing to reconsider his approach. As a result, I ordered 12 syrups and left early. I hope this will show this Richard that good communication and respect are essential for business owners to generate revenue. Regards

04/07/2026: I'm giving one star because the service was perfect. The young woman who served me was very welcoming, friendly, and smiling. I came to buy an ice cream (in a tub) this Saturday, July 4, 2026. Completely disappointed! The ice cream (two flavors), salted caramel and pistachio, had no taste and was way, way too sweet. It's like the cheapest ice cream from a supermarket. If I had drunk a glass of sugary water, it would have been the same. They need to stop treating people like idiots!!! I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

04/07/2026: Where has the Caribbean coffee ice cream of my youth gone?? Very sweet, lots of coloring...it's still good, but...I'm disappointed!

27/06/2026: The food wasn't great, the desserts were dry... and the hygiene wasn't great either. You'd be better off going to McDonald's next door, even though... 🤣 Luckily, the staff were friendly, which somewhat redeemed the experience.

24/06/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would!!! Undercooked chicken, reheated fries, stale ingredients, and to top it all off, an unpleasant waiter with extremely inappropriate remarks!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

28/01/2026: A great place for a sweet treat or a snack. Clean window display and beautiful loaves of bread on the shelves. Very friendly service. A local shop offering good quality products (not to mention the jam and honey for sale, which certainly seem to be locally sourced). Best of luck to the whole team!

31/07/2026: We had a lovely stay at Virginie and Jean-Michel's. The yurt was very clean and comfortable, with a bottle of chilled water and a fan. The dogs are adorable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. They gave us tips and a map for exploring the area. Thank you for this wonderful and relaxing experience.

30/07/2026: Disappointment... We also came here with a Wonderbox gift voucher, and the owner strongly encouraged us to book two extra nights. Charmed by the setting and the holiday atmosphere, we agreed (it was only after reading the reviews that we realized this was a "sales pressure" tactic used with every voucher recipient). The setting is indeed peaceful, and the house has a pool and grounds, but there are several drawbacks. We rented the "La Truffière" family room, which was advertised on the website as having a toilet and shower, but we discovered upon arrival that the toilet was outside the room, inside the house, and shared with the owners. This room is actually a separate room in the house for guests, who, however, do not have a key to the accommodation! Twice we found ourselves locked out, forced to call for someone to let us in (once the owner had gone shopping). The opening hours are inflexible: breakfast is served from 8:00 to 9:30 in the form of packed lunches, and the pool is open from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, only according to what suits the owners. The products are not fresh, let alone local: the breakfast tray offered (and paid for) upon arrival consists of tabbouleh, cold cuts, and cheese from a supermarket, and the morning orange juice is stale. There are three dogs always present, which was never mentioned on the website (those with animal allergies should avoid this place). Of course, one could argue that these are minor details that are part of a vacation, but not when you're paying €115 per night for two people, payable exclusively in cash! Far removed from the welcoming and sharing spirit that motivates those who host in a bed and breakfast, we felt like we were in a country house where the owners were profiting off the backs of vacationers! 08/06/2026: Reservation for 8 people, bill €216 for cocktails, kir, beer, mojitos, pizzas, burgers, savory crepes, and desserts – we were delighted. Very professional service, excellent welcome, and superb food. We will be back.
