24/07/2026: French pastries and a great atmosphere. There is a large selection of French pastries that look delicate and delicious. The ones we had tasted really good.

22/07/2026: A man was standing in line to pay for two drinks, while eight people behind him who had ordered bread were being paid before him. When he politely inquired about this, he received a rude reply. Very impolite staff.

05/07/2026: Good restaurant, good food, good atmosphere. It's a shame we had the unpleasant surprise of being charged an extra €13 per person for the live music without being informed before the bill. We had made a reservation, and there was no mention of this extra charge at reception or when we booked.

13/05/2026: A few years ago, this was a truly wonderful place. Today, it's clear they've lost their way and don't know how to retain their clientele. There's no consistency in their menu. I think they're completely off track with their culinary approach. Go back to good, healthy, classic food. It's a shame they don't restore the waterwheels.

11/07/2026: It's unfortunately overpriced and the quality is poor. Yes, everything is gluten-free, but the other ingredients for our breakfast sandwich were of inferior quality. The sandwich itself was also very dry and greasy. Simply not good! Not recommended at all. The place is decorated in a tasteless and run-down style. However, the service was very friendly.

22/02/2026: Surprisingly, my review left on Sunday, February 16, 2025, has disappeared? There was no welcome at this restaurant; we had to ring the bell to announce our arrival. The only thing to keep us warm was the fireplace. No tablecloths on the tables? There were few customers that Sunday, making it a bad experience for us. The servers were polite, but the undercooked squab, surrounded by fat instead of quail, left a bitter taste in my mouth.

18/07/2026: I went to get five meals before my vacation. When I got home and opened the wrap, I realized it was completely squashed and not fresh at all—inedible. The sandwiches were dry, practically without any sauce, frankly awful, and this problem keeps happening. Sometimes I've unpacked the order at home and found things were missing. It's really rare that I ever go to this restaurant; the one at Croix Blanche is truly excellent in every way. Since the previous manager left, everything has changed. It's a shame it's so close to home and I can't go. From now on, I'll go elsewhere; even the one in Grigny is better. McDonald's isn't what it used to be. These days, the competition is better, and the prices are too when you compare quality and value. Extremely disappointed; frankly, I don't recommend this restaurant.

17/07/2026: Absolutely terrible! I waited over 30 minutes for ONE meal, it's unacceptable.

10/08/2026: We stopped by in the late afternoon for lunch (5:30 pm). The service was very slow; they brought us drinks and ice cream from the children's menu almost immediately (we asked for ice cream and had to pick it up later), and then we waited 30 minutes for our meals.

09/08/2026: I was able to recharge my car there 😉 The sandwich was almost warm, but not scalding hot...

16/06/2026: Review: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ We had booked in advance for 7 people, which made for a nice little table. We chose to be seated inside. The restaurant has a lovely dining room with pleasant decor, but despite our reservation and the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated in the entrance area, a high-traffic zone. This wasn't very comfortable, and we couldn't fully appreciate the restaurant's ambiance. The welcome was pleasant, and the staff courteous. However, several things disappointed us. First, our aperitif was served without any accompaniments: no amuse-bouche, not even a small ramekin of savory biscuits. Upon arrival, we were also informed that the chicken supreme from the €29 set menu was no longer available, with no alternative offered. We therefore opted for the à la carte menu, which was rather limited and less appealing, as the higher-priced set menu was more expensive. We ordered five ham hocks with Munster sauce and two other dishes. A few minutes after placing our order, we were told that only two of the five ham hocks were left. We therefore had to choose the duck breast option offered instead, at the same price. Finally, the "gourmet coffee" turned out to be very basic considering the price. In the end, we found the value for money disappointing, with a limited selection and rather small portions. It's a shame, because the dishes served were actually good. This series of disappointments nevertheless spoiled part of our experience.

15/07/2026: Great tobacco shop/newsagent, very nice young woman and very wow!

31/05/2026: They said they'd open at 8am. It was never open by 8:30am, I had to go to another tobacconist. Unacceptable, especially for daytime workers!

22/06/2026: Five customers in the restaurant: one wrong dish arrived at the table and there was a cash register error (a phantom dish appeared on the bill). That's a lot of mistakes for so little work. Despite being a customer for several years, I'm very disappointed.

20/06/2026: What a disappointment! We've had much better food at Kinh Do... reconstituted chicken in the spring rolls, sauces that are more like broth... the quantities are generous but not the quality, what a shame.

06/08/2026: Out of 7 stations, only 3 are working... And even then... The service is slow, and I just saw one of the guys in the kitchen literally stick his nose in a glass.... In short, there's a lot of room for improvement

22/01/2026: Great place for cold cuts pate and smoked salmon complemented by selection of growers champagne at reasonable prices. Helpful n knowledgeable owner and staff. Definitely recommend if into finger food and discover growers champagne.

Yes — this is that type of place, where you have such a phenomenal experience that it keeps coming back to your mind long after you leave. And this place is unique for many reasons: 1. Everything is intentional Everything is well thought out — from the incredible locally sourced food, to the one-of-a-kind wine selection, and even the music. Nothing feels random. 2. People come first This is a place where you connect, learn, and have fun with other tables. Wine is not treated as a beverage, but as a portrait — an extension of the people who worked so hard to make it. 3. Generosity Aline and Eric are incredibly knowledgeable and endlessly generous in sharing experiences, stories, and special moments. 4. A masterclass in hosting I’ve never seen better hosts. From orchestrating the wines, to the music, to thoughtfully placing guests together — everything feels natural and perfectly timed. A special shout-out to Anaïs as well — extremely knowledgeable and generous, sharing many resources that helped me continue advancing on my wine journey. Bravo. I can’t wait to come back.
